Shiny Gligar Zephyrkitty Shiny Gligar Zephyrkitty I started playing Eternal Darkness. I hate having to search for each chapter. I have to go through the big empty house and my sanity's starting to drop so I hear things banging on the walls and laughing and I'm waiting for something to attack me and crying . At least in the chapters the monsters show up and I can kill them. I quit when s**t starts banging around the house. And the footsteps. D: My sister is a horror junkie and she's watching me get through the game. There is a decent chance that I'll end up making her play through parts of it for me. D: That said, I have a friend that is awful with horror. Another friend and I had her try the first Fatal Frame a while back and we told her that she could give one of us the controller if the game got to be too much for her, and she handed it back during the opening cutscene where nothing actually happens. It would be fun to make her play this, although she probably wouldn't want to hang out for a while afterwards. I'm usually not that bad with horror in general, but with the games, sometimes I just don't want to play them anymore. sweatdrop It's the atmosphere. Like, I have Amnesia, but I've only played it for about, twenty minutes. It had too much build up and I never ran into anything, but I kinda went, nope, and closed the game. I'm so-so with horror. I've never fearquit a game, but I don't buy a lot of horror games to begin with. A lot of horror nowadays seems to be more about gore (which isn't all that scary), but well-done atmosphere can get me. I cheated and just watched an LP of Amnesia. sweatdrop I picked up the game in a Steam sale so my sister could give it a shot, but she seems to prefer watching other people play so I'll probably get stuck playing it anyway. xd

I may not be able to play them for long periods of time, but I love it when I do. p: I wouldn't mind being watched if I played it. Sort of makes me less scared. sweatdrop
