Kairi sat on her bed, staring down Drao the Murkrow who simply stared up at the redheaded girl that was his trainer. The bird made an attempt to step closer to his trainer, only to have the girl flinch, and shuffle backwards slightly. She wasn't sure why, but, somehow, she had been convinced to put Griselda away in the box for now, keeping the Murkrow on her team for the moment instead. In a messy pile on the bed, lay her Bagon egg, on top of the egg sat Drao, who, despite being male, had taken on the role of 'mother hen' and was egg-sitting. He perched carefully atop the egg, and had been sitting there for a couple days now. Black feathers were strewn across Kairi's room, some of which were tucked in the makeshift nest, and surrounded the egg. The girl sighed and rubbed her head with one hand. "When is this stupid egg going to hatch?" Kairi asked, a snarl embedded in her tone, though her question really wasn't directed at anyone. "Krow!" Drao called out in response, tapping the egg slightly though the egg didn't move, the baby Pokemon obviously still not ready to come forth into the world. Not saying anything, Kairi glared at her Murkrow. She still didn't really trust the bird, what with her fear of bird Pokemon in general, but, she at least knew that it could be trusted with the egg. The girl would stand, and walk out of her room, trying to find somewhere else to be that didn't involve sitting in the same room as that god-awful Murkrow. She didn't really care where she ended up. She didn't really want to talk to people, but, she would if she was approached.

Krystal was hanging around, not really doing much but watching the events unfold before taking a plate. Sweet! Free food!
Alice accepted the plate more gracefully than her older sisters, smiling at Terashi as well. Really, him and Krystal made such a nice couple. "So, Terashi, how did you and Krystal get together?" She asked, trying to make conversation. "Oh that's easy! They -" Freya began but found her mouth covered by Krystal's hand. Not all of Snagem needed to hear about her and Terashi's first date.

Free food was all the invite Dan needed to grab a plate and start eating. At Alice's question, he never thought about it but how did Ter and Krystal end up together? It sort of just happened, didn't it? No wait, he did know. Or did? Now he couldn't remember if he forgot or not. Oh well it didn't matter, free food. "Mmm, this really good!" Dan commented.
Tapping impatiently, Connor was still waiting for Alice to agree to his terms but she had yet to say anything. She got a plate of food and began having a conversation with everyone else while he was waiting. By then, his patience had run thin and wasn't going to wait anymore. "Alright, I'm done waiting. I take your silence to my question as a yes. Now let's get this over with, now!" he told Alice before dragging her off by the arm. They were headed outside where they'd begin the pokemon catching lesson.

The blonde girl was just about to polish off her plate of food when she was suddenly dragged off by the arm, being shouted at. Get what over with? What was he talking about? Calling out a thank you for the meal, Alice didn't have a chance to even do anything else.
"Wh-where are we goooinggg?" She squeaked out, barely able to keep her footing.
Krystal and Freya blinked a few times but both sisters shrugged. It wasn't really like Alice was in any real danger. If something really went wrong, both sisters could easily get there before anything were to actually go down. "By the way, nice save." Freya stated with a grin, earning her a glare that clearly said 'shut up'.

While younger boys learned the nuances of not eating Torchic and not harassing Torchic, a particular Furret hybrid skulked around the outer perimeter of the Snagem headquarters. It'd been months since his last visit, and one couldn't blame him at all -- he was not convinced his being there had not caused that lockdown.
Maybe Jude might have better luck this time. Besides, he'd left behind a particularly blue chunk of lapis lazuli laying around, and he'd be disconsolate if he found it was lost forever.

Besides, he'd left behind a particularly blue chunk of lapis lazuli laying around, and he'd be disconsolate if he found it was lost forever. And as a father teaches his adoptive young, the 'mother' of sorts found something scurrying about in the proverbial household. "....uh, can I help you?" Freth asked, staring at Jude in confusion.

Jude shot up, ears and tail and all, and with a squeak squirreled to the other side of a brush where it was slightly less likely he'd be made a frozen fixture to it. "You're...very good at sneaking up on a guy," he said. "I forgot something, last time I was here. I was hoping there wouldn't be a lockdown this time."

Jude shook his head vigorously. "I'd certainly hope not. I remember your...boyfriend, was it? Pointed this rather scary light at me and let me tell you, I wasn't about to cause trouble." He paused, tapping a finger against his chin. "I remember a very angry black Ninetales as a result of the lockdown..."

"I remember a very angry black Ninetales as a result of the lockdown..." She held out her hand, and charged an Ice Beam. "One of these? It's an Ice Beam. And that black Ninetales is Night. Probably thought you were an intruder...the leader here usually finds the people, not usually the other way around." she said to him. "It would have been natural to think of you as some kind of an intruder." She looked at the Furret Hybrid, and apparently as far as she thought this guy was well on edge. She stopped the Ice Beam charge and got off the wall. "What's your name?" she asked, if for anything to break the tension.

"I'm pretty sure she wasn't angry at me, since she found some other poor sap to chew out," Jude murmured. "Had a really janky accent...my name's Jude, by the way. I like shiny things."

Jude dug into into his pockets for a moment, then dragged out a jagged blue stone the size of a dime flecked with a yellow metal. "The other piece to this lapis lazuli," he said. "It's not really that valuable because it's such a small specimen, but it's one of my oldest finds from the desert in Hoenn."

"It's not really that valuable because it's such a small specimen, but it's one of my oldest finds from the desert in Hoenn." Well, he seems fairly harmless enough; and in the chaos, he could have ended up losing something. It'd probably be fine if she at the very least watched him. She could imagine that she could take on the likes of a Furret Hybrid easily if he decides to pull something stupid. "Do you know where you probably lost it?" she asked.

Finally Jude straightened up and quit the cover of the brush, brushing the needles off his pants. "I don't think I spent much time anywhere but your kitchen, and maybe I sat on that massive couch you all have."
