His form bends back just a bit as he seems to relax, the knuckle of his left hand resting upon his hip while his right hangs down. His chin lowers a bit, shifting bangs hiding his gaze while that smile forms before turning into grin upon the left side of his face, that zig-zag pattern of teeth visible. This would cause that roll of tobacco to turn upwards. "Who do you think you are?" The rift behind him begins to shrink. "You think you know what is going on before your nose? No.. You do not. It is better that way, as well." The shrinking rift causes the air to rush about wildly, forcing the ragged edges of his ancient black coat to swirl about his form.

"You would think that after all these years, you would relax and let me take care of your problems.. But no, you have to stand in front of me and open your mouth about nonsense." He would shake his head slowly. "I have been busy every minute since I have awoken. And currently it is for this. Go fight your battle."

Paradox stepped in front of Katherine now, resting his hand lightly on the qaurterstaff hooked to his back, which he rarely used. "It is a sad day, Jack. Below the heavens, I have no reason fo attack you, and above them, such fighting would be pointless." He said calmly, moving forward in the following silence. The general had no fear of Jack. He moved to pass by the large fellow. The general glanced back at Katherine, "I will return shortly, Katherine. Do not worry about me for I am the one who worries for you."

Insomnia walked up the stairs, in his newest form. THe guards tried to stop him, but he flicked them out of his way like life size dolls.

"long time no see."The smaller figure of Insomnia grinned, and did a little bow to the Queen. "No, I was looking for somebody else." He told her, letting his eyes drink in the castle, and Katherine too. His new claws clicked together menacingly, while his blood red eyes continued to leer. "Why don't you help me, girl? My battle has never been with you." One of the slaws pointed in her direction. It bent at where the knuckle should been. His feral grin showed more than just a few rows of razor sharp teeth.

The monster let out a deep throaty rasp. A laugh. "Just some old freinds that you scared away." He stepped forward, the claws on his foot renching through the ground, leaving deep scathes. "You seem intent. . ." He tilted his head to one side, his tongue rolling out. "On hindering me. . ." He laughed again, the deep throaty rasp echoing again. "Freinds shouldn't hurt freinds, no?"

He would let Katherine walk by. However, Paradox was not allowed. Turning his form, he would take a single step aside, standing right before Paradox. For some reason it was very cold, not just cold, freezing. "His index finger is pressed upon the side of his own temple. "You know, I had wondered about sentiment like that from you since the beginning. The names within the castle and yours all linked together." Paradox had no need to fear Jack, Paradox was a warrior, warriors should have no fear. Jack had no fear because he was not born with it, warrior was not his term, in fact he disliked that title.


"Unfortunately you are not a threat at this moment which, due to circumstance, makes me seem like the enemy. But, by letting you go any further you will roll into a bigger snowball. And so here we are. You will have to strike me down in order to continue, if you so deem yourself fit to do so."

Paradox made no move to draw his weapon, but instead kept his hand lightly resting upon that qaurter-staff. He tried to get around jack, moving to his other side, but when jack moved in front of him, the General looked up at this hinderance. "The stone that stands in my way will crumble, even if I never touch it." He sighed, snapping his fingers twice. A wind howled from the capital, blowing his cloak into a rage. When the sudden wind dissapated, two men stood behind Paradox. "Master, we do your bidding." They said simutaniously, seemingly unaware of the other.

The general pointed at Jack, "He is in my way." He said simply. The two men nodded. A scythe materialized in one of the man's hands, and a single nunchuck in the other, both ornate. In a heartbeat they were on either side of jack swinging their weapons at him, both missing if Jack chose to remain where he was.

Insomnia stopped, and looked over his shoulder, "Caliver was supposed to tell you. No matter." He touched his claw to the wall again, "To kill the blind god once and for all. You too, but I never liked killing freinds before enemies." The monster walked out again, flicking his claws across the guards that stood at attention, slicing through armor and flesh like they were butter.
