she hugged him back "I love you too Jack... tell Ryan I love him too, and mom" tears had welled in her eyes now, both from pain as well as emotional stress

"I will." He kissed her cheek and gave her one last tight hug before letting her go. He had to leave before he started crying again.
He came over and hugged her again, "I love you baby girl." He kissed the top of her head.

"I love you daddy" she sniffed and hugged him again "can you... let the doctors know... that I need my bandages change?" she sniffed some more

she curled her legs back up to her slowly and held them, nodding in to her knees "I'll see you tomorrow... I want Jack to come back too..."

"If he's up to okay." He kissed her temple and walked out. He informed the doctors as she asked and then he and Jack walked back.
He curled up a little in the front seat and stared out the window all the way home. They didn't say a thing the whole drive, which was fine for him. He didn't want to talk.

When they got home he went straight for his room. Right past his mother and up the stairs. He curled up on his bed and clutched the bear his sister had given him years ago.
He walked in moments later. "Hi love." He sat down at the kitchen table. and ran his hands through his hair.

"She wants to come home.... she said she's done and all that. She can't stand the bleach smell of the place...... and Jack is blaming himself for her being there. Nothing I've said or even Flawrence has talked to him... He's still blaming himself." He sighed and leaned back into her.

she sighed and kissed his cheek "well... give her a few more days... like... till Tuesday" she rubbed his chest softly "then we'll take her home and see how it goes"
