Skaeryll Hey... anyone have a good idea for a laguz unit? I'm using (mostly) new species for my game. I want an even 10. I have: Fox Bear Panther Racoon Wolf(only return) Eagle Bat Phoenix Unicorn Lizardlizardlizardleeeezard. Geckos are cool.I'm noticing a distinct lack of reptiles and amphibians. But owls are cool. Giraffes are hellawoah. You could always go insect and ******** with everybody when Jiminy Cricket is kicking the final boss's a**.

We were having a talk today, and Roommate 2 says something about wanting to catch an Abra on her ROM of Ruby, and I told her there's no point, cause you can't get Alakazam. Roommate 1 says 'Good, he's too broken Anyway' I retort with facts about Alakazam's uselessness and someone with Shadow Sneak and a Focus Sash could take one out any day. And then he gives a little condescending laugh and says "No, Zach. I was talking about the real Pokemon" Then we get into it about how Bug apparently wasn't a type in Gen 1, and Dark and Steel really just Rock and Ghost. And how graphics and overdesign have made Pokemon unbearable. Then he went back to playing Skyrim.  Eh, I hate Pokemon Purism. Some of the coolest/best Pokemon are Gen 3-5. So ******** you, purists. Is the roommate a guy or a girl cause you called them both in one post. Roomate who argued is a boy Roomate who wanted the Abra/was Playing Ruby is a girl. Ok makes sense

I understand some of the problems, like the iffy design starting at Gen 3 and the absurd amount of power creep in Gen 5, but there's plenty of other strong points to outweigh those. When you become an elitist about a game marketed mainly at children eight to eleven, you know something has gone horribly wrong with your life.
Also, Pokemon gen 1 was dumb. Psychic was OP because the Special stat pulled double duty and the only counters to them were the absolutely laughable Lick and Pin Missile. You could solo that s**t with a Slowpoke.

Purists are the reason Gen 1 is my least favorite gen. If nothing else than to just piss them off. Get Black or White and stop being a d**k.
Also Wylr, I love how your roommate complains about graphics, but then he goes and plays Skyrim. Point this out to your roommate and tell him to get bent.

Giraffe laguz are best snipers/scouts and get psychic powers from their little knobblies. :=83=========E
