"Hello Mister Tomo!" Lily greeted cheerfully but quietly, not wanting to wake Arlen. Smiling, she scratched his ears lightly, then stroked his fur.

Ukaia looks up at tomo from having finished her raman and doing dishes. She smiled
"mornig Onii san! I hopeyou odnt mind i crawled into bed with you latnight" she said to him

Tomo turned his ears to Lily and waved in the direction of her voice. He approached Ukaia, "I don't mind at all. That's why I offered." He said, finding her ear to scratch it.

Ukaia purred soflty and then smiled and kissed Tomo on the cheek lightly
"Can i get you anything Onii san?" she asked him remembering he was blind now. But it should be better soon.. she was glad for that

Tomo thought for a few moments, "I can't seem to find the sugar bowl." He said, holding up his sugar-less tea. "Other than that, I got it covered, thanks Uka." He told her.

Arlen continued to purr softly, and gently nuzzled against Lily's chest.

Giggling lightly, Lily wandered over to the couch and sat, rubbing her cheek against Arlen's head a moment. As she watched the goings on around her, she continued to stroke him, rather comforted by his purr - it was nice to know he wasn't in pain.

Ukaia got up and got it for him taking it and a spoon over
"Here you go Onii san" she said setting it next to his cup and smiling
"I wish i could help speed up your eyes healing. I don't think i'd be able to take being in dark like that" she said soflty
"You're much stronger then me Onii san" she added hugging him lightly

Tomo took the sugar and added some to his tea. "For the first seven years of my life, the darkness was the only thing I knew." He said, sitting down at the bar, "I decided to let it be my friend instead of something that scared me. Ritsuko-san always said the dark was like a hug. Like putting a big blanket over your head to protect you." He explained, "Because things in the light can be really scary, too."

Ukaia nuzzled him softly purring
"Yeah.. seeing can be scary.. but still onii san. You're strong to be able to handel it. I can't" she said simply to him nuzzling his hand a bit
"I can't handel things like that very well..." she said to him
"And to go from one to the other would be impoosible for me Onii san " she added to him and then kissed his hand soflty
"So mabye you can teach me to think of the dark as a hug.. an not a punishment?" she asked him curiously

"I could see how the dark would be a scary place for you." Tomo sympathized, wondering if she liked having her chin scratched. He tried, anyway. "But I can see what I can do." He said, "Maybe tomorrow, I'll give you a few exercises to try." Tomo smiled and stood, "I did actually wake up a few hours ago and I've been extra sleepy with the baby. I think I'm going to go to bed." He said, gravitating to the middle of the room, "But maybe on the couch tonight." He added, plopping down on the one closest to the fireplace. "And you're still welcome to join me, Uka." Was all he said before falling asleep on the spot.
((Allergy meds are making me tired. I'm gonna hit the hay. Niiiiight!))

"Night onii san" she said and tucked him in with a blanket.

Arlen yawns and picks his head up looking around the room before nuzzling against Lily again.

Ukaia hummed soflty as she began working on cleaning the tavrne once more. starting with al the dishes, then onto cleaning hte bar tops and the btables and chairs.. then onto sweeping and mopping..

"Morning sleepy head." Lily teased Arlen, rubbing his head. "Have a nice nap?" Then she looked to Ukaia and laughed. "What are you doing? Rest, relax... come sit, sis!"
