:::She'd finished pouring and she handed a glass to Jordan, then took a sip of her own before walking back around:::
I'm not sure what else there is to tell you my friend. I'm slowly forgetting the existance I once had in my original time, and I've only spent so much time here that can count for really being myself... Not long ago I wouldnt even have been able to think of such a sentence to say to you. My world...is not bad. It is terribly mislead, but I won't follow anymore.
:::She sat and drank::: And that, is perhaps all you need to know about me.

He took the glass, and eyed it for a moment before setting it down, "So then, what about the others that come to the Brink? I'd rather not have to wait to meet them all, I'm rather impatient. After all, you seem to be highly knowledgable of the patrons of this place. As you said, they are your family."

:::she nods::: Yes... Well, let's see...
Tavin is the one who is in charge of this place...but by that, I'm not sure what I mean. He seems to know most about this place, I believe that he was the first of us to appear here, and he has some sort of connection to the dieties controlling it. Or, that is the impression I get. It's possible that I'm entirely wrong. He's a mild-mannered man, very friendly and knowledgable.
And Maggie, she is from the late 15th century I believe. She is a kind, and reserved woman, though it's very apparent the hold that her time has on her. :::Cora smiled::: But we've all grown a little more timeless as we come here...Maggie is no acception.
Bard is the most noble of men, I think. He's so very polite, very concerned, and good natured. I can tell that he has a formidable intelegence level for someone from early times such as yours.
:::She realized at this rate she'd go on for hours:::
Honestly, there are so many...I don't know if I can get into them all with you...and either way, perhaps it is wrong to give impressions before you actually meet them.
:::she sips, smiling a little though, it felt so nice to talk about her friends like that:::

Tac listened intently, nodding appropriately, hell, he was just more than happy to hear her speak. It only seemed to reinforce the fact that she may indeed be Cora if she knew of these people so well. A thought came to him, "Ok then, well, lets not give impressions then, may I at least know their names?"

Name them...?
:::Cora was pretty sure she could name them all...that is, she'd thought about nothing but them for over two years:::
Well, Tavin, Maggie, Bard, Luke, Nyx, Torment, Tacitus, Healous, Sir Cross, Malazar, K, Alex, Ben, Robyn, Shisuro, Johnathan, Vandermullen, Selurnis and Audyhnnh, um...Luana! and...Clare, mm...Oh, Namida..! Am I leaving anyone out? THere was someone named Vince I think. Well, I met that drunk man here the other night, and...I vaguely remember a strange girl, I think they called her a fairy. Then there was that giant woman we saw last we met. And Melliandra. I don't think I'm forgetting anyone...
:::She smirked::: Oh but! This might mean nothing. Just because I've met these people, doesn't mean they are the only ones who come. There may be countless others who appear regularly, and I just don't get to meet them because of how the Brink works...

Tac listened, and when she was done he thought for a moment, attempting to test her in another way, if not a bit cruel, "Hmm....one of the names you mention seems familiar. From a while ago, my time's past. That one, um, Tacitus. s**t, can't think of where I've heard the name. It was recently too."

:::Cora's eyes widened, and she nearly lept up from her seat to turn to Jordan:::
Do you know him!? Have you met him before!? Is he alright? I haven't seen him in so long! Not since I got back! He's...he's an older gentlman, older than me, he has grey hair and strange colored eyes...do you recognize him?

Tac smirked briefly, "I a..." he then noticed he was starting to fade and his eye twitched. In a fluid motion he got up from the stool and moved away, his hands coming up holding the two handguns, yelling something about 'hating this damned bar,' though it was rather hard to hear as he faded away, trying to shoot the bar to no avail as he created little but sound to block out his words.

:::Cora watched Jordan fade with a little alarm. She'd never quite witnessed a new person react that way to fading... either way, she wondered what in the world he was going to say next, and it nagged at her. She felt like Tacitus was so close. Like she was so close to finding him...and yet he was so gone. She shook her head, and decided to go back to her room:::

**Enter Maggie, Bard, from Ainsford, 16**
*Maggie flickers into the main room with Bard, her hand on his arm to ensure she brought him along. She opens her eyes, realizing they've returned, and then looks over to him in concern to see how he's doing from having been in her time for so long*

*Bard looks a bit pale. He smiles at Maggie not altogether reassuringly* I think I need to sit for a moment....
*He walks over to a chair and practically collapses in it*
