The ghost shrieked again. "GET OUT!" It said. "MY HOUSE!" It appeared again, still red. "GET OUT!"

Ugh. There they go. Some sort of loss or violent death had made this ghost nothing but a hovering shell of emotions and kinetic energy.
"WHERE IS YOUR SON?"
Just a test. Trying to incite it further. Usually question like that got angry, angry answers.

The ghost was immediately in Michael's face. For a moment, the form shifted to that of a young man. "GONE!" It shrieked. The sound of sobbing filled the house, not quite overtaking the sound of the music.

Oh. So it had been a boy. In fact, this man had been a father at all. That was a lucky guess. Now, was he gone like "dead" or gone like "I died and his mother took him?" Clearly this man had some sort of feeling about it all for the Brahms' Lullaby that had spouted from his energy field.
This place was a cacophony of sounds an insane energy.
"I KNOW WHERE HE'S GONE."

The ghost fled Michael's vision briefly, before zooming back towards him. It shrieked in despair. "WHERE?" It demanded. It seemed to be able to get out simple, one worded responses anyway. "GET OUT! LEAVE THIS PLACE!"

'Heaven' was a risky word. It was apropos considering the white light and the deceased loved ones and all, but depending on a person's beliefs it may not be what they wanted to hear, and the entity had no discernible accent nor a solid enough form to judge on clothing.
"Through the light!"

The ghost seemed to pause. The form was definitely more solid now--it was putting its power into manifesting. It moved close to Michael. "YOU!" It screamed. "YOU TOOK HIM!"

Michael didn't break eye contact with... well. It was probably where the ghosts eyes were.
"I didn't take him," he replied calmly. "If you told me when it happened, I might be able to help. There's a place all people go at a certain time in their lives."

"You took him!" The ghost insisted. "Took him!" It shrieked, fading in and out of sight. "WHERE?"

Michael began to try and pull the ghost closer, to try and force its light open. It required a lot of energy, and he knew this thing would fight.
"I can show you!"

The ghost made a racket. Sounds of a baby crying came on a loop. The music became louder. "TOOK HIM!"

Toby clapped his hands over his ears. Dari felt oddly tugged from the inside backward.
Michael meanwhile gave up. This could only escalate if he continued to push. He offered a bow, giving up the struggle.

The ghost was wearing out. It vanished from sight and didn't reappear. The music was becoming oddly muted.

So it wasn't as strong as everyone had thought. Interesting. He would bet that the music and sobbing then had been out of the entity's control. He could overpower it, but it couldn't wear down like this. It had to have energy to cross, at least as far as he knew.
He reappeared to the others.
"It's losing steam. We can talk soon."
Toby nodded.

The ghost was apparently resting, as neither Dari nor Toby got shoved in the next few minutes. A scrawl appeared on the wall, apparently directed at Michael. It simply read: SHOW ME.
