Tac was relieved inside, until the damn thing started to hurt, "Well....that...hurts. How...how is it that the Brink halts this healing, and magic in general whilst we visit? I don't rely on it as much as I used to. Gets me out of waiting in line for an elevator quite nicely, other than that theres not much use anymore. Though I will admit, being forced to exist without it at all is rather odd. Even now I am only first realizing a few subtler things that were missing." He shook his head, "Nevermind the questions, it doesn't matter anyway. So, while we're tending my wounds, why don't you tell me a bit more about yourself. Everyone has a story, some moreso than others. I mean, you seem to be well versed with the intricacies of this place, so you must have seen more than just me and the drunk come 'round these parts."

Tac twitched at the sting, "I had almost forgotten, there was that wierd Angel like female from last time, its been so long I almsot forgot. I can certainly understand what you mean by strange, but whats this you say about most of them being friendly?"

As she and the medication worked their magic Tac tried to poke a bit more at her, testing if it was really her, "So, you haven't told me much about yourself yet. We already know I frequently cut myself and dislike elevators, but know oh so little about yourself, much less these others you speak of."

As he sat down at the bar he flexed his hand slightly, glancing at it, "Well, how far exactly would that be? I'm from the year two thousand four....teen. Heh, seems a bit odd saying it like that. Never imagined I'd be chatting it up with people from the future. Also, what do you mean where you were from?"

Tac nodded, "Yeah, I guess I can understand what thats like. I spent a very long time away from my home, after that time I have to confess, I both feared and hoped I'd never return. It was different...so different. I was convinced she was gone, and when I returned, I thought I found her, but I darenot approach her as she knows me, it..might not be her." He looked up abruptly as if shaking a dream fromhis mind, "Hmm...oh...was I rambling again? Bah, nevermind it, its not important here. So, in relation to your world, how long has it been since you started coming to the Brink?"

((He's talking about Jordan's sister, mostly. Theres a little bit of both actually.))

Tac looked at her confused, "I said nothing about coming back, I asked when you first started coming to the Brink? Why, did you stop for a period of time?"

He stopped for a moment, staring down at the bar, "Two years? How? Why? Thats...not possible." He looked up to her, a twinge of either fear or sadness in his eyes, "Two years?"

He kept mumbling it to himself, it couldn't have been two years. He could only barely remember some parts of the last time he saw her. It had been only a short time since then, not even a year. He. couldn't keep things straight anymore. He wasn't forgetting anymore, but Jordan's memories were clouding his own. He couldn't even remember who was who between Steph and Ren. He held only fond memories and deep pain for the both of them, the lines between them blurring.

He shook his head, "That...seems so long. Your world seems so horrible by how you speak of it. I can't even begin to imagine, and I don't even know if I want to." His mind returned to less than depressing thoughts, the true matter at hand, "So Miss Cora, there was to be more about you than just your name, rank, and age."
