Corri goes out into the kitchen, and starts rifling through some cupboards, "When do you want to go?"

"Whenever." Billy replies. "I haven't talked to Jill lately, and she's home from school."

"Ok." Corri starts pulling stuff out of the cupboards, "I was going to bake something and bring it over. And of course I'd be making it so you can eat it, so if all else fails you can fill up on them. What'd you want?"

And then we skip time.
The boys had a fun time at their aun'ts house. They spend happy time with family. About halfway through the evening, their parentses show up.

And dominic spent his day shopping. then wrapping things. Then sneaking into the twin's house to put presents for billy in his room and presents for corri and rave in cor's room. Cuz this makes him feel better.
And then the happy family time isn't so happy because they don't like their rents as much as their aunt. but it's still mostly ok.

Eventually, they head home.
"So, what have you two been doing?" their dad asks, rather jovially. He'd had a little too much wine.
Billy snorts and tries to choke down a laugh. There were many things that they had been 'doing'.

"We've just been relaxing and enjoying our holiday time," Corrigan says, totally without having to lie... he's just making it soudn a helluva lot more bland than it was.

"Seen anymore of that girl you were with?" their father asks Corri.
Billy stares out of the car window, again trying not to laugh.

"A bit, yes."Cor rather wishes that there was something Billy could do to save him here, but it seems unlikely.
"You don't have time to be dating, you know. Your marks aren't great as they are." Their mother complains, obviously totally ignoring Billy's marks.

And then Billy, the bad son, gets angry. "Who are you to say that to Corri? You're never around anyway! How the hell would you even know what his bloody marks are!" He yells, from the back seat. "If you want to harrass anyone about marks, harrass me!"
By this time their father had turned around to Billy glaring. "You don't talk to your mother that way!" he snarls.

"If you're going to keep that attitude you're going to have to walk the rest of the way home!" Their mother adds.
Corrigan would have loved to back Billy more, maybe yelling at them too, but he's just not confrontational like that. They're their parents, after all, even if their jerks. But mommy-dearest gave him a lovely opportunity, and he quietly states, "Sure. Pull over."

Before Billy had the chance, the words were out of Corrigan's mouth. Billy looks at his brother in shock, but the shock turns into a wide grin. "Yeah Mum, pull over." Billy agrees.

What could the (rather stunned) parental unit do other than pull over. Frankly, their mom didn't expect them to go through with it. Also frankly, their mom doesn't know them very well. As soon as they are stopped, corri takes off his seatbelt and gets out of the car.
