Thank you. Check Hank's Lab or... Well, I guess his stuff isn't there is it? Or did he move back in? I don't remember - find some medical supplies? I need to do some stuff on my arm. My eyes will just have to heal with time.

*Clears a table and lies Nat down before going off to find some supplies*

Nat, you shouldn't be moving around like that right now.

I know, but I needed to check out what's going on. These wounds look pretty clean except for this one on my stomach, I think there is something lodged in there. It isn't deep, but a pieced of shrapnel or something is just digging in. Look in that bag and hand me prongs.
*Props herself up, hissing from the pain.*

Lie back down, I'm more than capable of doing this myself. You risk re-opening wounds by being so stubborn.

Alright.
*Lies back down and shuts her eyes tight.*
I'm not stubborn enough to argue right now. So nah.
*Gives a faint laugh that turns into a fit of coughing.*
More proof that I should never attempt humor. You know Matt once told me I have an adorable lack of a sense of humor? I disagree but...
I-I think I have a fever.

*Bites the cap off a needle and injects her in the side with morphine, then puts on a pair of latex gloves and clamps open her stomach wound in order to get the shrapnel out.*
This is not going to be fun. Just keep talking, Nat.

Dah. Uh, how are you and Janet? W-well I hope? Things have been relatively quite around here, other then the helicarrier deal which, obviously, turned out great. Sorry, I don't m-mean...

*Uses a pair of surgical tongs to pull out the shrapnel and daubs at the wound with gauze.*
Janet and I are doing fine Nat, I think she's really coming around to being able to deal with her death.

Oi, to bad Hank isn't - but good for her...
Ya ne ponimayu, we can't die in the Nexus you could have held off longer. Fought. Keep the helicarrier.

It's precisely the fact that we can't die here that forced me to deal early. Without the possibility of death there's no telling what they could have done to you given enough time.
*Starts stitching up the wound.*
That, and this resolution isn't altogether bad for us.

Ah. Always the thinker. I couldn't help but notice no one noticed I was missing for a while there. The morphine makes me not really care about that at the moment, but it wasn't the warm and fuzziest feeling to have in that room by myself. Ya va ponimaye.
All done? Getting maneuvered to a bed or a couch would be great, I can't stay awake too much longer I don't think.
