Kurai felt the sudden flame dissepearance and sighed with some ease. "heh.. wow..." Kurai let out long sigh. Kurai then nodded. "Yup its Kurai and yup i manipulate flames." he said noting her suprised expression through her tired looks. He could easily tell emotions but he didn't realize it, this was because of his sister Rene's ability to easily track down emotions of another person.
Kurai then whilstled. "but man for somone who didn't take classes at all.." Kurai shoved his hands in his pocket and smirked. "That was one helluva flame.." Kurai chuckled. "Obviously you have some talent within you.. how long you been learning this? or.." Kurai rose one hand in front of him. "were you gifted with this ability?"

She turned herself so that she faced him. She was in a position much like a jazz split. For those who don't know what it is, her left leg was positioned out to her side in a stradle(sp?) position. But her right leg was tucked so that her heel and toes both touched her inner thigh. Her hands were on her sides on the floor where she rested some of her weight. Some might thing it wasn't very comfortable but for her it was.
"You really think I am?" she asked him. She thought she wasn't good at it at all. She never had the opportunity for instruction or help with her powers. Everyone just tried to experiment on her. But Ria seemed to be different.
"Well its hard to explain. At first the flames were triggered by strong emotions I felt." she left it at that not going into details or examples of when it had happened.
"But I've taught myself to search for the flame within me and call it out. More of coax it out actually"

Michio had been looking for a place to rest to heal his arm after the battle, and he stumbles across the Training Rooms, and Michio ducks into one, the one that happens to contain Kurai and Seyla. When he sees them he says, "Oh, hello Seyla. Who is your friend?"

Kai walks into the training grounds via the courtyard entrance and heads back to the targeting range and sits down to meditate for a moment . He sets a bowl down infront of him and pours some water into it. He sits down cross legged and closes his eyes letting his mind wander and his thoughts drift. The water in the bowl begins to show faint ripples.

Kurai slowly lifted his hand with a smile on his face and then closed his eyes. His face was really pale and seemed to shine against the lil light that dappled through the flame room. Slowly he closed his hand and then opened it again lighting a flame right above the palm of his hand. "Seems we summon a smiliar flame. My flame was taught to be controlled by my inner self. Emotion and all." Kurai then turned to her with his red eyes opening, his white hair gleemed against the glow of the flame.
"So i guess it isn't a curse.. you just had that power but was unaware of it.." Kurai then blinked as he heard somone come into the room. "eh?" Kurai quickly clenched his fist to extinguish the flame. It was dangerous to have the door to the flame room opened and have a lit flame within the room.

Seyla watched him. The flame he revealed was much like her own, but he seemed to do it effortlessly. It was kind of beautiful how the light from the flame illuminated his pale face. It made him glow. She suddenly wondered if it did the same with her. She noted how his flame suddenly went out. He had done this in the same manner as she. As he spoke she realized that they really did have a lot in common when it came to her power.
Her head picked up at the sound of her voice. Her eyes lifted and she saw Michio. Oh boy... her face paled as she bit her lip.
"Oh well this is Kurai...he was kind enough to teach me how to better control my powers...we were kind of hoping to be alone" she said politely as she adverted her gaze.

"That's cool," Michio says. He turns towards Kurai, he would extend his hand to shake, but both arms are prreoccupied, one damaged, the other holding it, "Hello Kurai, I'm Michio. So you are practicing flame powers, just let me fix my arm and I'll join you." Michio then closes the door, walks out of the doorway, and sits down on the floor as he starts to heal his arm.

As Kai meditates longer the water in the bowl rises out and takes shapes ranging from animals, to places....Kai lets his mind wander more. The water takes the shape of birds, it takes the shape of dragons. Kai's breathing is even and shallow and he looks somewhat like he is asleep. The water turns into a sphere with a stand keeping in contact with the bowl. The sphere begins to show images of sunsets, and rises, and landscapes from Kai's mind and memories. He remembers a beach where the ocean turned a brilliant green as the sun dipped into it, he remembers the top of a mountain cliff where the sun seemed to nest between the beaks casting a pink and orange glare on the snow. The images continue on to water falls and lakes that seems to be the world upside down.

Kurai turned to the new boy and let out a smile. "Ahh nice to meet you Michio." Kurai said with a pleasent tone. "Oh so you can also summon a flame?" Kurai was excited. "Thats awsome! I do hope to see various powers within the flame arts!" Kurai then seeing the door closed re-opened his hand to let his flame live.
"It took me very long to master just a simple summon such as this.. but thanks to Susie.. she taught me how to learn the arts of meditation and seek my inner self.. to find the inner flame within me. Then Mother Aili.." Kurai said and just at that second his angelic necklace gave off a shine from the flame. "She taught me how to manipulate the flame..." Kurai said with a bit of reflection in his voice.
He slowly brought the flame up to his face causing his red eyes to reflect the flame within it. His eyes seemed to daze straight into his own flame. He then once again clenched his fist dispensing the flame, then slowly he turned to Seyla again and smiled.
"Please show me your flame summon." Kurai smiled.

"Well I can conjour flame, but I can't seem to sustain it, so it goes away quickly, but he I go," Michio says as he finishes his healing and stands up. He then raises his right arm at the wall and flames shoot out, like when he roasted the mushroom. "So, how was that?" he asks nerviously.

Keila quickly enters the Hall and looks off to where Kurai, Michio and Seyla are. Oi!! she yells at him as loud as she possibly can, stomping her foot on the ground in the process. So did you just happen to plan on forgetting about me back there!!? she looks over to Kurai and folds her arms, not caring she was about to wage silent, but a very loud nonetheless, war.

(just lost my whole post wtf! grrr)
She suddenly had grown uninterested in the whole ordeal. She was hoping to work on her powers but instead it had become something else. She lied down and closed her eyes with a sigh. This training session was shot, and she had tried so hard to get this room too. She tried to stay calm though and not show her annoyance, or anger.

Kurai looked at Michio's flame and nodded at it. "So it seems you use projectile type Flame movements." Kurai then nodded. "A very nice offensive type flame magic.." Before Kurai could continue on with his words he suddenly felt a stinging pain in his head. This of course was Keila's lil gurly voice XP. Kurai held his head and let out a "atatataa... Keila!" Kurai turned to see there by the door Keila with her arms crossed.
Kurai frowned. What are you doing gurl! didn't you hear me when i said i was going to visit the flame room quickly to see if there was anyone in it? Kurai then quickly grabbed Keila into the room and shut the door. "Don't open the door like that.. too much oxygen in this room could cause our flame spells to grow out of control.." Kurai sighed. "I dun't want you to get hurt you chibi baka.." Kurai rubbed his head in some dissapointment."

"I'm sorry." she remarked sarcastically. "But you just left and I wasn't paying attention you baka!" she stared up at him stubbornly. "I was trying to be nice in case anyone hasn't noticed." Keila sighed though, yet still. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize that."

Kai opens his eyes to narrow slits and the water in the bowl freezes. Kai looks at the water in the bowl and raises and eyebrow. He had never done that befor. He examines it for a second but it melts suddenly and splashes back into the bowl. Shrugging kai stands up and aims at his targets holding a hand down to the water , it rises in a strand and he grabs it like a whip. He then proceeds to slash through targets with the water in the shape of a whip. Keeping his focus. He yells battle cries every couple of dummies. His movements are clean and seems to actually go through the dummies...but after a second the dummies fall to pieces. He trains hard like this for a bit.
