Gion nodded to Donovan and lay down, pulling his cloak more tightly around his body for warmth. He was already soaked through and through, but he could take it. His only worry was for Nadya, and he peered at her over his shoulder.

Nadya smiled faintly at Triton, inderstanding what he meant. "Everyone has their secrets," she murmured softly. She could feel Gion's movements behind her, and to Triton she suggested, "Perhaps we should just sleep now. I know I'm exhausted, and I'm sure we could all use the rest."
She lay down immediately, curling up next to Gion and pulling her own cloak about her. Then she took Gion's blanket from her shoulders and spread it over the two of them, also adding her own from her pack. She felt warmer immediately, and smiled softly. Odd, how something so small could bring so much comfort to her in such a desolate land. Then again, perhaps it was just from being so close to Gion.

Donovan nodded as he went to get Mia, even if the girl had little care about her health he did. He made sure first that she was well bundled before taking his own place to sleep.

Triton nodded as he found a place to rest, fortunately being what he kind of was curling up wasn't a problem. In fact it was quite a lot warmer curling up like this, with his tail between is legs all sheltered under his cloak.

Yue in the meantime wrapped himself tightly with his sash before readjusting his cloak. He chose a corner to sleep in. Ignoring, or trying to the hard floor underneath.
Mia blinked for several moments keeping awake, she never needed normally a lot of sleep, but she did sleep evenually. She would wake easily though, since she was by nature a light sleeper.

The night passed slowly and uneventfully, and though the storm stopped just after midnight, the rain lasted almost until sunrise. When Gion awoke, the sun was just starting to peek over the horizon, but the clouds seemed to have vanished, and it looked as though it might actually end up being a fairly nice day.
Good for questioning.
Nadya's arm had ended up around his side at some point in the night, and though it was comfortable and welcomed, he removed it and sat up, stretching.

Donovan was sitting up, though his partically covered with his blanket as he polished his glasses on a cloth. The dirt and dust did not do well for his glasses, it annoyed him somewhat. Though one had to ask how much did he really need his glasses if he needed them at all.

Triton's tail flopped and thumped on the floor, sort of like at fish would. It meant to those that knew that he was in that half awake and half asleep mode, since his tail was indeed moving, but he wasn't one to open his eyes quite yet. Perhaps having to try and keep warm took a bit out of him. After all no one knew how cat like Triton was, not even Triton himself, though he knew he didn't have anywhere near the senses of the cat like people that existed back home.

Gion turned and shook Nadya's shoulder gently to wake her. She was a solid sleeper, it seemed, which seemed unusual to him because back at the plantation she was always the first one awake, the last one to bed, and with the most to worry about and the most work to do.
Then again, this was far from her usual purview, and the weather up here, along with the travel, was more than enough to exhaust even the most seasoned of travelers.

Nadya sighed softly and opened her eyes a sliver. She rubbed her eyes and sat up, and the blankets fell off her and collected on the ground, though her cloak remained properly wrapped around her.
"The night passes too quickly up here," she murmured through a yawn. "Is everyone else awake, too?"

"Mia is probably waiting for everyone else to wake up before she gets up," Donovan commented knowing how that girl worked, "Yue is up and Triton's tail is twitching, he's half up."
He finally put this glasses back on his nose as he looked around a bit. Everything seemed more or less the way they had left it.

His tail rolled out and rolled back it as he curled inward a bit more before opening his eyes. Though it was quite an awkard position, though he had an excellent view of the roof of the cave.
"Hmm..." he murmured as he shifted a bit to see where the others were.

Mia turned her head from where she laid on the ground back straight to see that everyone else was up. Seeing as now she didn't have to worry about being quiet (not like that was ever a problem for her), she threw off her blanket and started her day. Getting ready as if she was in her room instead of in a cave.
Yue nodded at the others who were awake, he had been watching the sun rise and well, there wasn't much he could say other than that.

Nadya turned and started folding the blankets up to put them away.
"I suppose we should go down as soon as we're ready," she commented softly, looking up at Donovan briefly, "so that we can get as much out of today as possible."
As she put the blankets back into Gion's bag, she added, "Whoever's behind this, he's in a position of power. We should find out first who the new present leaders are of the dwarfs, and how they're recruiting the humans, as well as how they might possibly be giving them so much gold when ... up here, I'm certain they have very little."
She looked back up at Donovan again, and her brown eyes, though awake and alert, free at the moment from the cloudiness of her second vision, reflected the exhaustion that had been creeping up on her over the past several days.

What Nadya suggested was probably the gist of it, Donovan thought to himself as he made sure to pack everything up. Though his mind was already thinking, into what else could anyone possibly give humans besides gold? Jewels? Silver wasn't worth as much, but it had value, and there were metals even more valuable than gold itself...
But he didn't know if they existed here.
"You two keep watch, and Mia, no following," he told her sternly, "Don't question it."
