Ghost swung his head over Kipcha's back and rested there. He sighed and looked at his two foals, he remembered being their age...but his younger days had been full pain and vengence on a creature he couldn't find. "Prince, Lithea, I'm sure you both wish to know my reason for not allowing you near the humans..." He started.

Prince swiveled his ears towards his sire and waited patiently for him to continue.

Kipcha nuzzled Ghost knowing it wasn't easy from him.

Lithea watched Ghost with her ears up, nearly completely still untill she heard Storm and Jewel walking towards them. She glanced their way, not really wanting them to interfear with her family.

Ghost took a deep breath, then exhaled sharply and began. "When I was only a yearling, my mother was taken captive by humans, and I followed her without a second thought. Luckily, we escaped, but we were pursued. One of their dogs ended up catching me around my back leg, bringing me down. My mother turned and killed the dog with a quick blow to the side. Well, it happened to be one of their best hunting dogs, 'irreplacable' as I heard them call it. We began running again and I heard a gun shot, and I saw my mother trip and she went down beside me. I halted and trotted to her side, where I found blood pouring out of her. I started crying and told her I refused to leave her. The last thing she told me was to run and after much protest, run I did. I heard another shot, a high-pitched sqeal of pain, and then...just silence. I turned to see the humans around my near dead mother's body. I saw them lower a gun to her head, then..." He stopped, diverting his gaze, feeling he shouldn't continue. What he had said was reason enough for them to understand his hatred.

Prince stared at his sire, dumbfounded. He would never had imagined his father going through such pain. He tried to think about how he would have felt if that had happened to his mother, then, finding the idea to gruesome, pushed it from his mind, a small tear rolling down his muzzle.

"That---Jewel, was your father." Diamond replied softly not sure how Jewel would take it.

Jewel lifted her head up, making Storm take his head off of her neck. "My father!?" Jewel said, her eyes filled with excitement. "How come I never met him?" Jewel asked. Storm nuzzled his sister. "Mother, I think I know him. I saw him with my herd once." Storm snorted.

Lithea snorted and backed a few more steps. "Don't say that Prince." She was fighting with the urge to run to her parents and after a minute she did just that. She pressed her face against Ghost's chest, with her ears back and her tail tucked close.

*No longer seeing the bay creature anyplace around, the man lifted Jacob and Sarah onto Moddy's back, leading the pony back through the field. As they walked he kept close eye on the horses. He feared those more than the thought of a cougar or wolf. As he walked along, getting close-up glimpses of most of the magical creatures, he still could not belive this was real. Working wings, how could they be strong enough to carry such heavy creatures? He began to run again, Moddy trotting at his side as they reached that trodded path on the mountainside. He found his bag, dusty from the fall and handed it to Jacob, taking a small radio out. He inspected it closely, clicking buttons and turning knobs.*

Thankfully this still works...

*He placed his lips close to part of it, speaking into it.*

Crawford one, crawford one..Are you there?

"Yes you might of seen him." Diamond replied. But when she looked up, Jewel was already getting to her feet and shaking her whole body. "I'm going..I need to see him.." And with one loud snort of anger, she bursted into a gallop heading her ways towards the mountains. "Jewel!" Diamond called to her foal worriedly as she already got up and was getting ready to go after her.

Diamond bolted after her daughter, Storm soon following. Insted he flew up in to the air chasing his sister. But it was no match to Jewel's speed. It seemed as if no matter how fast the two went, Jewel would always outrun them and end up going farther then them. Soon Jewel was up the mountain and racing towards the smell, that she thought was her father. All of a sudden there was a big expliosion and a loud squeal could be heard from there. The gas had reached the gas tank and the plane had explodied. "Jewel!" Diamond gasped and yelled, leaping up the mountain as best as she could.
