The peace and tranquility of quiet and familiar discussion was shattered into tiny shards as the doors were suddenly thrown open, a gust of wind disrupting the comfortable temperature only slightly. This interruption was followed by a rather young looking girl who seemed to be blown in on the breeze, though she was far less graceful as she tripped on a shoelace and nearly faceplanted on the flooring.
"Sorry, sorry." She apologized, pushing a lightly tanned hand through her mass of long black hair to rub sheepishly at the back of her neck.
"Hi hi hello!" She exclaimed cheerfully as she pushed the door shut again.
"I'm really sorry for the gigantic delay in coming here to introduce myself, college interrupted my life." She said with an obvious dislike for school, a small and childish pout tugging at the corner of her lips as she spat the word "college".
A bright, if not a tiny bit sheepish smile was plastered all over her obviously Phillipino features as she took a seat in a vacant chair nearest to her. "Thanks so much for accepting me here, I promise I won't be any trouble." She grinned again, giving off the appearance of a small child.
"Well, first off, my name is Kristina, but I have ten thousand different names. Krissi, Kris, Stina, Nina, Tina, even Puppy, or simply Formaldehyde will do. I'm eighteen and I just started college this semester." She said, pausing to take a breath.
While she had been eighteen for a few months now, most mistook her for being only fifteen or sixteen on account of her youthful face and the fact that she was only 5'2".
"About my writing..." She began. "I've been roleplaying and writing random little stories since I was about ten, and have been ever since. Writing is my passion, and drawing as well. I do consider myself literate most definitely, and maybe even advanced if I like the story line enough. I have a million different characters for nearly every situation imaginable and I love playing each one of them. I tend to lean toward drama, romance, angst and even a little bit of tragedy. Those are my favorites." She added in a particularily bright smile after that.
"Group roleplays are highly favored as well, but one on ones are nice too. When I'm bored I'll go with nearly anything, but I don't do vampires, slave themes, or any other pairing other than heterosexual." Her nose wrinkled in response as she shook her head lightly, smooth strands of black swaying with the motion. "I don't mind at all to roleplay with other people of different orientations, it's just that I myslef prefer boy/girl pairings." She smiled a bit. "I just can't do vampires and slave stuff though, I'm no good at it." She rubbed her neck again, a sheepish and apologetic expression on her face.
"I do have a fiancee..." She admitted, a light, yet proud amount of color creeping up onto her high cheekbones. "Though it's a long-term engagement." "As for more about me personally, well, I love music. Rock and classical are my favorites, however strange that may seem. I play piano, am learning violin, and my favorite band ever is Chiodos, if that tells you anything." The bright smile never left her face.
"Ah, sorry. It looks like I just can't shut up." A short laugh was inserted here before she continued. "If you'd like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask! I'm a fairly easy to know person and I don't bite or anything. I have been known to lick faces though..." She trailed off, that sheepish grin and nervous laugh returning once again.
"So, anyway!" She restarted, sitting up straight. "I'd be happy to answer any questions, and I can't wait to get to know everyone better. Thanks so much once again for accepting me here." She inclined her head slightly in a polite gesture at the end of her long-winded introduction.

Welcome our little niche in the net known as Gaia! ^o^ Hmmm Puppy.. now there is a thought... I assume such a nickname comes from your habit of licking faces. xD But I think I shall call you Hyde... or maybe Forma... nah Kris is the best (as long as I dun forget it)... or I'll just give you a cute little name and be done with it. =D
Hmm tragedies huh... I suck at anything sad! I'm such a happy-ending sort of person that I can't even write tragedy stories let allow RP them haha! But it awesome that you enjoy them... and who doesn't like a little romance and drama they make the world go around after all.
All that aside we have tons of RPs here so just have yourself a little look around and dun be afraid to get your feet wet.

Puppy, that nickname calls for interest and questioning, don't you think? How'd you ever get that? If you would allow me to, may I call you that, however? I think it's the cutest of all the names.

: D Why thank you!
xD You can all call me whatever you like. As for Puppy, it's surprisingly not from licking faces. For a long time I had permed hair, so curly that it actually resembled spaniel ears. D: My eyes are actually really large, like permanant puppy dog eyes. Well, there was this guy in ALgebra class who said I looked like a sad little puppy because I was always quiet and kinda mopey in that class, because, hey, it's Math. D: D: D:
So yeah, another friend of mine heard and it kind of spread around in my close circle of friends. xD
And on a side note, I use the 'xD' and 'D:' faces a lot...

~~steals : D~~ Ah math, ugh, I hate math! I never did that well in it, and never shall! Okay maybe if I actually paid attention in it, but it isn't my fault they the teachers teach a lame subject. When am I going to use math anyways? All I need to know is addition, subtraction, and multiplication, so I can know if my check is correct or not hehe.
But yes, puppy sounds so awesome, I shall call you that definiltey : D

Hi there Puppy! Glad to have you introduce yourself, and very nicely done at that ^_^.
We do have some advance literate rps up, so if you do get into them, I am sure you'll find yourself home haha. But wow 5'2"? That's about as tall as my sister is. She's a few years older than me, 24 right now, and she's 5'2", lol I tower above her XD, but anywho hahaha. You like tragedies? Almost everything I write is that (no not because I suck, that's the genre XD), and well I just love them, although lately, not sure why, but one of my stories that I've already put 230+ pages into, I've always wanted a really sad ending, and now for some reason, it is starting to become happy! Egasph, I am scared hahaha.
But lol, long story short, welcome to the guild Puppy! I hope you enjoy your time, and although I know you've been here for a while, just have fun looking around, and what not haha ^_^

Ah, I hardly have to use division, I suppose on the odd ends of a day, but I geuss I just don't realize it too much, at least basic math comes natural to me, and that's all I need! 2+2=5 WAIT 4! Whew ~~Wipes forehead~~ For a second there I thought I came up with a new theory, but apparently not hehe
