Igraine nodded, immediately distracted from the others. "Yes, I'm hungry. But... is there more gummi worms? From before?"
Ivan tensed. Though happy for the contact with Raisa, he didn't deserve it. It took him a moment to find his voice, and, tightening his jaw, spoke with a voice as even and matter-of-fact as possible. "Issac is at the vet. Rudolf is watching him and will bring him back soon." he would let them absorb that before asking about Kay.
Rosangela had snuck over to bark at Garaden when she heard Ivan and turned her head. "The vet? But we usually all go together." She was almost pouting. In her mind, the vet was only for check-ups and they got a treat afterward. The vet was a nice person, always petting and cooing, save for the shot, which was only a second of their time.
Garaden: *snoring softly*
Journey smiled and nodded, grabbing a cookie for herself. "You're alla strong bunch o' pups it seems. Don' go forge'in' tha'." She said, her voice soft but encouraging.

"The vet?" She hated that place with a passion. Though the person who ran it was nice and sweet, it was always cold in there and it had a funny, unnatural smell to it. It was just weird... So Issac was at the vet?
"I guess he got sick..." She said as she flicked her tail. "That dummy... and he got to go with daddy and the others too..."
Raisa took a step back from her mate and stared at him as she tried to comprehend his words. The vet? Issac had not been sick when he left here and she would certainly know that. She wouldn't have allowed him to go if he had been. If he wasn't sick---
"No...no no no!" She shook her head in disbelief. "What happened?! Ivan, please... please tell me he isn't hurt... please..." She pleaded.
Journey's voice reminded Mordred so much of his mother and he stared up at her before nodding
"I... won't..." He glanced down at his animal crackers and nodded. "Thanks..." He said with a weak wag of his tail.
*too lazy to get Kai's color and I forgot the poor guy the last post* xD
Kai winced at the tone in Raisa's voice and he looked away from his two friends, choosing to give them some semblance of privacy as they talked. It was hard though..... he wanted to go over and comfort Raisa but he knew he couldn't do it. Only Ivan could... He kept his gaze adverted and stared off at the other inhabitants.
"Um I think I have some gummy worms still. They might be in the basket though." Dagger rose slowly and stretched before turning to where the basket was.
"I'll go and get them alright." He seemed hesitant to leave her side. "You'll be okay for a minute while I get these right?"

Igraine frowned. He had been right there when she'd gotten snatched, along with her sister. Would it really matter now? "I okay." She said softly, curling up into a ball until Dagger got back.
Suddenly, Ivan wanted to yell, to snap, to growl and snarl and stomp his feet. What did she expect? He had said he didn't want Issac going! She could have said something, done something, to keep him safely here! She could have-! She should have-! .....They should have- His mood swinging from angry to tired to angry again just made him even more tired when he came back down. His entire body sagged and he shook his head. "One of the wolves got a hold of him. It looked like he'll be okay though. Like I said, Rudolf will bring him back soon."
Rosangela flinched, wide eyes on her parents. Why was mommy reacting like that? Issac was actually hurt? Reacting to her father's depressing mood, she flattened her ears, turning to walk quietly over to Kai. He was usually chipper, and maybe he would tell her what happened. "Uncle Kai? Did anyone else get a boo-boo like Issac?"
Garaden: *still snoring softly*
Journey smiled. "It's no trouble." She left it at that. He'd been through a lot in one day, and she didn't want to load his mind with chatter. Instead, she lay down to eat her cookie, simply giving him, hopefully, the comfort of her company, of having a caring adult at his side. She naturally wanted to help him, even though they had only met that morning.

Ginny remained silent and watched her parents. She did not like what she was hearing or the way that they both looked. She heard her sister going to Kai to ask what happened
To hear that Issac looked like he would be okay and that he was with Rudolf gave her a little relief but still, she was upset by all of this. How could she not worry when one of her babies was hurt? And what about her mate? Ivan's depressed and defeated disposition called to Raisa and normally she would have gone to comfort him without a second thought but she couldn't bring herself to move. It wasn't because she wasn't mad at him for she knew she could never find herself to ever be mad at him. Instead she knew where the blame of all of this should be placed. Not on Ivan or even Issac. It was all her fault... She had sent one son off to follow his father and he had been injured. Not only that but she didn't even know where her other son was or if he was alright.
"I'm sorry....I--I..." Raisa closed her eyes and shook her head.
Kai looked at Rosa and smiled at the pup.
"Hey kiddo.." At her question, he had to keep himself from thinking back to that moment when Issac had been hurt and his cries. It was a struggle but he kept his smile in place and patted Rosa on the head as he shook his head. "I think some just have a few tiny boo-boos but Issac will be fine. He's one tough kid that Issac."
Dagger left his princess and nodded his head at Journey as he approached the box. He stuck his head into the box and was surprised to see Mordred in there. The dark pup gave him a glare that made gray male shiver and he sighed. Dagger was not looking forward to when that pup grew up. He pushed those thoughts aside for the time being and quickly grabbed the gummy worms and returned to Igraine. He set the bag down beside her and laid down once again.
"Here we are...."
Whoever this female was, he enjoyed being around her instead of the others. She didn't pester him or give him sympathetic looks. Even what she said to him, as little as it had been, hadn't annoyed him. He watched her as she ate her cookie and he hopped out of the box, dragging the box of animal crackers and sat down beside her. He stayed close enough that he was near her but not close enough that he could touch her.

Igraine uncurled once Dagger was with her again, wagging her tail and pouncing onto the bag of worms. While nibbling, she spared a glance at Atreyu and her sleeping sister. What was she going to do about them? And her brother, sitting over by that gray female. She like that the female was gray, like her daddy.
Ivan heard Raisa's voice. She was just as upset as he most likely. Sighing, he took the step closer and pressed against her, resting his head on top of her's. No words would help much more until Issac walked back into this room. And Kay...
He pulled his head back only slightly to whisper in her ear and stay pressed against her. "Any sign of Kay?"
Rosangela smiled slightly. Kai would tease and joke, but not about something like boo-boos. This was important. She wagged her tail once and curled herself against Kai's side for comfort. "Mommy and daddy look sad."
Garaden: *yep, snoring softly*
Journey glanced over as Mordred sat down and smiled, giving Dagger a small nod in return as he passed. Despite the rough start, the kids all had a chance to grow well, so she thought. She finished her cookie and started cleaning her paws. The feeling in them had returned along the walk, and she felt dirty from being at that rotten place. Maybe she'd just jump in the lake. Did she dare ask if Mordred needed a bath too?

Raisa leaned against her mate and buried her face into his chest as she tried to fight her tears. His scent was calming and she concentrated on it to calm down. She had almost regained her composure (as much as she could) when she felt him move his head to whisper in her ear. She knew she would have to tell him sooner or later but she hadn't expected this new to join that of Issac's being injured. Raisa sighed and shook his head.
"We looked everywhere..." She said softly.
Ginny could not take her parent's sadness anymore. She trotted forward and sat down beside her dad and leaned against him. She nuzzled her small nose into his leg and glanced up to give him a small smile.
Kai frowned slightly at Rosangela's observation and he glanced at the two. He sighed.
"It can't be helped. Parents always get sad when a kid get hurts." He leaned down and nuzzled her back gently. "You'll understand one day kid. Don't worry," He raised his voice a little and glanced at Ivan and Raisa again. "Everything will work out fine."
Dagger looked away from Igraine to let her eat in peace as he glanced around the room to take in what was going on. The room had such a exhausted yet anxious aura and he sighed. Until those butterfly pups returned, things were going to be like this. He glanced at Igraine and smiled.
"What are you thinking about?" Dagger asked as he set his head on his paws.
Mordred watched Journey for a moment as he ate his cookies. Of course, he ate far too many and his stomach quickly started to hurt. He groaned and slide down slowly to the floor and sighed. Ugh..... He closed his eyes and took a few deep breaths to calm himself down.

Igraine looked up, twitching her ears. "Um... Are you going to keep us? All of us?" She asked, refering to herself and her siblings. Dagger had said this was home, but like before, she remembered home had once been the woods with mommy. Now, both were gone. Would Dagger soon be gone too?
Ivan nodded, holding back the tired growl that tried to rise. He had to go back there now... See if those bastards really had Kay. He had nearly started to move when he felt something small against his side. Looking down, he gave Ginny the best smile he could manage. "They'll be back soon." He said softly, leaning down and licking her face, cleaning off what remained of the dust bath from earlier. First, he would get then girls settled. Maybe he would ask someone to go with him.
Rosangela smiled, allowing her tail a small wag. Kai was usually cheerful and helped her feel better quickly. Tilting her head, she saw Sandria still sleeping on the floor. Giving Kai a nose into his side, she padded quietly over and curled up next to Sandria. Maybe when she woke, they could play with the hats again.
Garaden: ZZZZzzzzz......
Journey perked her ears when Mordred groaned. What was that about? "You okay there darlin'?" She asked, reaching and giving his head a lick before she could catch herself. She quickly pulled back though, remembering the pup could be sharp tempered and also not wanting to step out of place with Atreyu's children.
(( Did you notice Kai told Rosa to worry? I think you missed a word in there. X3
And it seems like after you post would be good for Blue to come in with Issac and Rudolf. Yes? ))

Raisa took a few steps back from Ivan and sat down. She curled her tail around her paws and closed her eyes and tried to keep herself somewhat together. There were far too many emotions running through her at the moment and she wasn't sure if all of them were her own since she was so closely connected with Ivan. She heard Ivan's words to their daughter and she opened her eyes slowly to look at them. She nodded in agreement with Ivan with more conviction than she felt and smiled at her mate and daughter.
"I'm sure they will and everything will be fine. And we'll be safe and together again...."
Ginny smiled at her father and nodded her head. She gave her small wings a flutter and trotted over to where Journey was with the dark male from Atreyu's litter. She sat down beside the other female, the lucky one who got to tag along with the knights, and laid her head against her.
Kai watched Rosangela go over to one the princesses that they had saved. He sighed and laid his head on his paws and stared at the door. He felt anxious and he wondered when Rudolf would be getting back...
He did not answer Igraine's question right away as he wasn't sure what to say really. From Atreyu's reaction and the girls had gone missing, it was obvious these children already meant a great deal to him even though they had spent such a short time together. That was understandable. He was their father after all but Dagger had not heard it from his own mate's mouth that the three abandoned pups were going to be staying. He would hope for the best solution...
"Your father wouldn't separate the three of you..." Dagger said, looking at Igraine and trying to give her a comforting look. "This is your home and I'm sure you, your sister and brother will be welcomed here."
Mordred heard Journey's question and was startled when he felt her licking his head. Her warm tongue brought back too many memories.... his mother cleaning him after he had rolled around in the dirt, calming him after a storm.... She's... gone...
He felt the tears beginning to well up but he pushed the aching in his chest down and nodded his head stiffly at Journey, not wanting her to see him crying over something so trivial.
"Yeah..." He said in a soft, yet cold voice. "Yeah... I'm alright. It's the cookies... I should slow down I guess."

*From the Vet's*
"I can walk on my own!" A voice in the hall could be heard.
"No no no. Injured are you. Must easy take it. Doctor's orders." Another voice said back. Shortly after that Rudolf walked into the room with Issac on his back. "See? Back we now." He reached behind him and gently picked up Issac and set him on the floor, "Hallo! Here everyone?"
Issac was frowning, more like pouting, as Rudolf marched him right into the room. Issac wanted to walk in, not be carried in like some invalid. He saw everyone there and sighed. Surely his mother would freak out seeing all of the bandages on him. His entire back was wrapped, his wings as well although it looked weird, and one of his ears as well. "Hi mom... dad...." He looked around and immediately headed over to the spot where Ammy usually sat, by the flower pot. He laid down and closed his eyes, clearly trying to avoid everything.

Igraine frowned slightly. So… daddy didn’t know. She glanced at her other daddy. Would he really let them stay? “Um, maybe, since he came to save us, it means he wants us… Right?” She glanced up at Dagger. “You want us, don’t you? You came to get us too.”
Ivan needed every bit of self control he had to keep from visibly shaking in anger. His dear mate, his Raisa, was hurting. At least one of his sons had been attacked when he had been right there, and the other was missing. How could he have failed so much in such short a time?
He looked up at Issac’s voice from the hall, setting his jaw for what he knew was coming. It didn’t make it any less painful… And then his boy walked away, instead of to his parents. Did he blame Ivan for what happened? The male wouldn’t blame Issac if he did. “Thank you, Rudolf.” He said, unsure of what to do about Issac. So, he did the only thing that was clear in his mind. He turned and gave Raisa’s cheek a quick lick, his voice a strained whisper. “I have to go look for Kay.” He had to do something. He couldn’t just wait anymore. He turned and started for the door.
Rosangela stood quickly, wagging her tail when Issac came back. Not paying attention to his mood, just happy to see him, she runs over and rubs her head against his, careful of his wrapped ear. “We missed you, Issac! I’m glad you’re back.” As much as she wanted to ask, despite her curiosity, she left alone the fact that Issac seemed to be the only one to return with bandages. Why was Issac the only one hurt? Well, the only one physically injured.
Journey smiled, even though she heard the boy’s voice change. “Yeah, slowing down would be’ah wise choice if they make your tummy ache.” Hearing light paws coming toward her, she looked over in surprise when Ginny curled up at her side. How had she ended up with a child on either side of her?
“An' how're you, Ginny?” She asked before looking up and wincing slightly at Issac’s appearance. They hadn’t been able to protect him… All these adults, knights, and he still got hurt. She turned back to Ginny. "Would'joo lika cookie too?"

"I'm good Miss Journey..." Ginny's voice trailed off as she heard her brother's voice. She instantly turned towards the door and caught sight of him and gasped. What happened to him? Why was he in bandages? Was that why Mommy and Daddy were sad? She sighed and watched Rosa prancing over to her brother. She would check on him later... right now, she wanted answers. "What happened out there Miss Journey...?"
Raisa was overjoyed to see Issac again even though he was bandaged and looked worse for the wear though the mother part of her was currently freaking out and calling for the blood of the ones who did this to her child. Another small part of her winced when her son walked away and looked as if he were in trouble. She felt Ivan's soft lick and she glanced at her mate as his whispered words finally registered.
"Please don't go alone... I don't want--I can't lose you too... please." She whispered in return, giving him a soft lick before she marched across the room towards her injured son.
"Issac... oh Issac..." She cooed as she dropped down and began to lick and nuzzle him gently.
Mordred frowned when he noticed the white butterfly moonlit from before and he
He heard the familiar voice of the green butterfly kid, what was his name again-- Issac, that's what it was. Mordred was surprised to see the state he was in and the bandages. It was... unexpected. He hadn't though the pup had been injured so severely. He heard Ginny's question and he tried to act like he wasn't listening to either of them and went back to eating his cookies; his comfort food at the moment.
Kai looked at Rudolf and waved.
"It's nice to see you're back man..." At the other males question asking if everyone was there, Kai frowned and looked away. "Well... somewhat...."
"Yes, I'm sure Atreyu wants you. Don't worry about it." He leaned down and licked her gently. "Yes, I want you as my daughter and your siblings as my children as well. We're all family now... we don't turn our backs on family." He heard Issac's voice and he glanced over to where some had begun to gather. "It seems the little fellow is alright. I'm glad for that." He said with a smile.
Sandria stirred beside her father who had tried to fight against the exhaustion of the day's events to be support for Ivan and his family but had failed; slipping into unconciousness the minute he laid down beside his daughter. The little princess peered over her father and noticed that most of the attention in the room was beginning to direct itself towards someone in the corner. Over the large butterfly wolf and her child she could make the green male from earlier. He was the nice one that had played with her but he looked hurt. She carefully pulled herself over her father and scampered across the room to stand beside Rosangela.
"Are you okay?" She asked, tilting her head.

Rudolf headed over to Kai, since he was the only one to speak to him. "Good back be to." He said frowning, "Missing who?" He looked around and then back to Kai. "Other pup butterfly. Too Ammy. Oh! Naito too." He sat down next to Kai and sighed.
Issac frowned at his sister as she rubbed her head against him. "Will you stop..... please?" He said with a sigh, "Mooooom.......I'm fine. Will you stop it! I don't need to be treated like a baby!" He was already near the snapping point when Sandria came over and asked if he was okay. "I'M FINE! LEAVE ME ALONE!" He yelled finally losing his temper. He stood up and marched away from everyone.
He settled down across the room and angrily beat himself up (in his mind) at exploding like that.

Igraine smiled, her tail flapping against the floor in pleasure. "I want to stay here too, with you, daddy."
When someone suddenly yelled, she jumped and dove against Dagger's side, shaking fearfully as she tried to hide underneath him, still nervous from the puppy-napping.
Ivan watched Raisa walk over to their son. What was he supposed to do, just sit while Kay was... He hated not knowing for certain where his boy was.
Then Issac yelled, and he spun toward the child, using everything else to keep from going over and slapping the boy's butt like he wanted to. "ISSAC!" He snarled, his own temper merging on the breaking point. "What do you you think you're doing talking to your family like that?! They've been worried sick about you, so let them see you're okay! You should be happy that you have so many who care for you!"
Now what was he supposed to do? Standing rooted to the floor next to the door he had been about to go through, he fumed. He couldn't just leave now, but he needed to cool back down...
Rosangela scrambled backward, spinning to hide behind Raisa from her brother. Then her dad started up. Why was everyone yelling?! They were back. Weren't they supposed to be happy? So she asked. "Why are they yelling, mommy?" She asked in a shaky, soft voice in the sudden silence as she hunkered on the floor, wide eyes looking between Issac's back and her dad's scary angry face. "They don't need to yell."
Garaden's head snapped up when Issac yelled, jumping up and looking around in confusion. Having only registered "leave me alone!" and then Ivan's quick voice, he was on the defense. Searching quickly for some enemy after them, confused when he saw no one except friends.
His orange eyes looked everywhere before putting together what was happening. He padded over to Kai and Rudolf, laying back down out of the way without a word. Everyone needed a good nights rest in his mind.
Journey frowned. "Well darlin', it went more smoothly than I 'ad expected. We got there, had a bit of'a stand-off. Issac ended up gettin' caught by a bugger of a wolf." She flicked her ears. "There was no reason to hurt 'im... But anyways, everyone more ah less stared each othah down 'til Atreyu and their head cow pie met an' made a deal. I'm not sure what it was, but we got the girls back, Rudolf took Issac ta the vet an' we came home. Now here we are, safe and-" About to say 'sound', she was cut off by one yell, then a much louder yell. In a flash, her paws were out and pulling Mordred and Ginny protectively against her sides. "-well, somewhat sound..."

Mordred winced at the raised voices, first from Issac and then that of the Butterfly pup's father. The first shout was understandable. He knew that Issac didn't want all the cuddling and attention now so soon after what happened. The second shout however had caught the young pup off guard. He glanced at Ivan and tilted his head curiously as he regarded him.
"Strange--oof!" He felt himself being pulled from his cookies and he soon found himself pressed protectively against Journey. He glanced up at her in confusion. "What are you doing?"
Ginny listened to Journey's summary of the events, glad that at least someone was going to be truthful and not treat her like some stupid child. She found herself wincing at the sharp tone of her brother's raised voice and glanced his way.
"What's going on-" He father's shout startled her and she welcomed being pulled close to Journey. She wasn't necessarily scared but she had never seen her father react like that before.
She laughed softly at Issac's reaction to her attention but her laughter was cut short by his impatient shout to be left alone. She drew back and watched him walk away. His words did not sting and oddly enough, she fought against her instinct to follow after him and continue comforting him. Her mate's outburst was enough to distract her from following after her son. She whipped her head in his direction and gave him a pleading look. She know how frustrated he was but yelling was not helping.
"Stop it..." She felt Rosa hiding behind and she craned her neck to look at her daughter and to answer her. "It's alright. Everyone is just stressed out dear. I'm sure everything will be fine a bit after everyone has calmed down."
Atreyu awoke with a start at Issac's shout and he glanced at the frustrated pup in confusion, his sleepy mind not comprehending what was going on until Ivan shouted. He stood immediately and scanned the room, taking the attendance of all present. Issac had returned, alive and well and bandaged and so had Rudolf but Ivan's other son had yet to return. With a sigh, he instantly regretted dozing off like a fool. He crossed the room cautiously to join Ivan.
"Breathe friend." He glanced at the door. "Do you want company in finding your son?"
Sandria hadn't expected that reaction at all from the butterfly pup that had been so friendly and kind before. She immediately recoiled back a few steps, memories of the evil moonlits who had taken her and her sister rising again. She shook the memories away before they overwhelmed her and watched him walk across the room. Another, much louder yell startled her again and she let out a yelp and scurried over to Rudolf to hide behind him. Why was everyone yelling? Why was everyone so mad? She wanted to be strong and not look so fearful but she couldn't help her shivering.
Kai glanced down and nodded.
"Yeah, the other butterfly pup and--" He paused and glanced around. Rudolf was right and he felt bad for not noticing it before. Ammy had been missing for awhile now and he wasn't entirely sure what the old girl was up to. Naito hadn't returned yet either but he wasn't entirely worried about him. Naito was an adult and Kai was certain that Naito wasn't in any real danger. When he heard Issac and Ivan yelling, he shook his head. "This is getting out of hand... we need to find the Ivan and Raisa's other kid or Ivan might lose it."

Issac truly snapped when his father began yelling at him. He knew he had done wrong yelling at his family and friend but he couldn't stand the attention anymore. He just wanted to be alone. When his father scolded him, no yelled at him, his fur bristled. He turned to face his father, his fury clearly seen on his face and in his stance. "You don't think I know that?! You don't think that I instantly regretted yelling at them!? But you forgot about how I'm feeling right now! I don't care if they want to make sure I'm okay! CLEARLY I'M NOT! CAN YOU NOT SEE THE BANDAGES?! I JUST WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE!!!!" He panted for a second, rage still there. His father didn't understand. How could he after all. He wasn't hurt physically and mentally, not to mention the injured pride. His godmother would have understood the young pup's feeling but she wasn't here. Issac glared at his father, ignoring everyone else. He took in a deep breath and began walking for the door. He was done being here. He'd go home, away from his family. He had no desire to be with them right now.
Rudolf frowned as Kai glanced down and then looked around. Was something wrong with Ivan's other son and Ammy being gone? He was about to speak when the yelling started. He was surprised that Sandria ran over to him. Seeing her shivering made him frown even more. They shouldn't be frightening little ones like her like that. "Okay it is." He said leaning down and pulling her in close, "He mean not yell..... he not quite right. He be fine though soon." He didn't know what else to tell her to help her out.
He looked up at Kai and nodded slowly. "Ivan son may out be playing where some. Right?" He wasn't so sure. After all the twins had hinted that Ivan's son had been in that clearing. But it didn't hurt to hope for the best.
