Artist rendition! Less bitching more praising! Be glad Adrian Smith didn't do it.

Adrian Smith is or was an artist that did a lot of art for GW back in the day. He has a great style, he just CAN'T do faces if his life depended on it.

Well, I do believe he should avoid doing peoples faces, and maybe their exposed arms.

He did do that incredible piece about the war for Armageddon, with the Steel Legion on one side and the Orks on the other.

That's really old art, it beats the new stuff though, with the odd bolters and weird power armour. I was talking with Mel about that a while ago, someone really needs to get those artists back in line. talk2hand

I've read The Ultramarines Omnibus, and Rebel Winter.
I'm currently reading Gunheads( f-ing AMAZING), and The Killing Ground.
Just when you thought you had the orks figured out, they bring out a new toy to play with.
I'd like to read into William King's Space Wolf Novels, but I hear they're quite boring.

Space Wolves are an old series, they even pre-date the Black Library IIRC. The old Bill King books are okay, but the newer ones blow hard. I'd avoid those. Gunheads is so far standard boring fare, same with Rebel Winter. Good Guard reading would be Fifteen Hours and Cadian Blood, the rest is mediocre as hell. Especially Death World and Desert Warriors, the latter being a rather tasteless dig at the Arabs in my eyes.
