Minerva checked her watch. "We don't have five minutes, Braddock, work a bit faster, please."

He gave a soft grunt as he popped the cover off of the card reader. "I've never worked on one of these with tools, Major. I know it better from the inside than the out-." He took a wooden popsicle stick and probed the lock's interior, using a penlight to peer inside, "I think...there it is." Leaving the popsicle stick in place, he stripped the ends of a piece of wire, fastened one end to a terminal on the back of the panel, and slid the other end carefully along the side of the popsicle stick. It took him a few tries before he hit the exact spot he wanted... "I think that's got it. Major, if you would slide your card?..."

Si1ver Streak "Just give about 5 minutes. This looks like the model I saw in the AoS HQ..." "The President likes to recycle enemy tech and implent his own ideas. Mostly because if they're using it, there's a good reason behind it. But there's also the irony of having your own security used against you in more sophisticated form." He said, watching Streak ((Disreguard that post, then.))

Minerva flipped her card into her palm and slid it through, the lock beeped and the door opened. "Good work Braddock." She glanced back at Sean, " the AoS, aren't exactly the epitomy of technology. I could break in with nothing but a length of rope and a stapler. But not many people want to break into a viper's nest."

Sahira leaned against the wall close by Bobby, watching what he was doing with keen interest. "Earth's toys will never cease to amuse me."

"Well, up until Braddock's comment about the keycard being the same as thiers, I thought there were Enforcers dressed like belhops infront of every door." He replied, cocking his shotgun and peering through the door ((This is the control room, right?))

((I sure hope so)) "They've always been short on defense, but high on offense. Ora isn't looking to protect her people as much as she claims she is." Minerva glanced at the shotgun. "If there are people in there, it'd be better to take them out with this." She held up her gun complete with silencer. "We don't want to take on the full forces till the grid is down after all."

Sean pointed the gun around the corner, before stepping around quickly, only to met by Xeen standing near the computer terminal that powered the Grid. They stood on a catwalk circling a massive glass tube, electrical pulses running up the hieght of the tube, the entire room viberating with each pulse.

Ruby St.Claire Sahira's ears perked up and she peeked her head through the door. "Please?" She said with a wide grin. Xeen grinned, walking to the terminal, ignoring Sean's, and the rest of the Regulator's guns pointed at his back. "It would be unwise to use your weapons on me. If I die, the codes for this system go with me. Malador and I spent a long time reprogramming this system for our use; Anything Jerhic had for security is long gone. ANd you also have to be sure that those shotguns have little to no spread to keep from hitting the terminal, as well, which, at that range, is sure to happen."

Minerva held up her handgun, level at Xeen's head. "Then we won't use the shotguns. Now turn it off, Soltari. If you do, I might be able to do something for you. Tell me, Xeen, have you missed your wife?"

"I know she's alive. That is what I know. I also know where she is." That last part was a lie, but Min wasn't about to let her bargaining chip go. "Supers or not, we have the upper hand here. You were always weak without your powers, Soltari."
