Ruby took the disk and put it in her back pocket. She walked to her new room, number 47, and crashed on the bed. Despite her plans to sneak out of the room later that night, she decided not to. She was still a little upset with the earlier accusations. She also needed some sleep because she was heading for the shelter in the morning.

And after a long night of sleeping all on her lonesome, curled up in a tight ball, Ruby heads off to the shelter to get blowed up and we sorta get some of the time line straightened out. Hopefully no one had any unended conversations going on, if they did, feel free to finish them and then do a little bit of flash forward like I did.

Ha, A.C. thought to herself, inwardly quirking an eyebrow (as she does so often xd ). Funny that I seem to move so much faster than her, when she's the one who flies. Unless she stopped somewhere else first, or was loaded down? I seem to remember that she delivers supplies fairly often. Delivered. Heh heh.

She briefly indulged in some villainous inner chuckling, but it was short-lived. A.C. had had no respect for the Shelter--she thought the people who came up with the idea were well-meaning idiots--but what had happened there rubbed against her moral grain too deeply for her to shrug off or ignore. Something would have to be done. Without a word, A.C. slid out of her new perch among the equipment and disappeared to the battlefield.

((Ruby left to cry, and it's the next day. We're now caught up/catching up to be parallel to the War Shelter timeline, because this is where Laurel flew to to tell everyone that Coyl is at the now-destroyed Shelter with troops, choppers, etc. making trouble. Ruby is also over there in a state of unconsciousness, all by her lonesome because Miran went back to his hill and A.C. was freaked out that Ruby could breathe without a heartbeat.

Other than that, we're finishing any left-over conversations, etc. and dealing with the news Laurel just brought.))
