John returned just a bit later with a soda in hand, tilting his head at Hoshi. "So," he questioned lightly as he opened the soda, "did you have any plans for today, or did you just want to bum and maybe watch a movie?" While awaiting the answer he took a long drink from the can, leaning against a wall.

"Umm...well..." she began nervously, talking to act 'normal' or however she acted before she lost her memory which was getting on her nerves. Think Hoshi....what do you want to do...should be easy..keyword SHOULD be easy.....ok ok calm down.....umm say something before he suspects anything! she thought. "...you know what? I'll let you decide I don't care. It's up to you." she replies hoping John didn't suspect anything.

John narrowed his eyes just a bit, "You know, if you want I can go home or something so you can rest or whatever you need, honest." She just seemed, so hesitant, it was confusing. "I can leave, but if something's wrong, I don't care what it is, I want to help, that's what a boyfriend is for." He waited, watching her with furrowed brow, curious what was wrong. Maybe he was looking too far into this, maybe she was just a bit out of sorts, not enough sleep or something like that, but wouldn't she have called him before he'd come to see her if that was the case?

Hoshi looked down. Ok crud...do something...anything!.....ok what would a girlfriend do?...think think...dang it think!!!!! she thought. "No no it's not that. Really I'm ok.." she smiles at John. Then moves to his side, hoping no praying she was doing the right thing a normal girlfriend would do. She placed her head on his shoulder. "Come on.....I wanted to spend the day with you...it's up to you on what we do....I don't care...." she says sweetly.

John grinned a bit as he ran his fingers through her hair before letting his hand drop. "Alright then, I guess we can watch a movie." He flashed a smile her way as he made through her house, stopping only to sit down right next to the remote, looking back to wait for her before touching it. He was probably just looking too much into things here. Everyone had an off day after all.

Hoshi smiled back, trying hard not to blush. "Alright, a movie it is." she responded sweetly. OK well that was easier than I thought......ok now what do I do??......crud...don't stand around all day go sit down!!...grr..I swear I am soo dense at times..... she thought. She quickly made her way over to John. She sat down next to him, close and laid her head on his shoulder. "You can pick the movie too..." she adds.

John blinked just a bit, forehead furrowing. Holding back just a bit of a shrug he turned on the tv, flipping through the channels a bit before settling on one that seemed interesting. After settling to one channel he put his arm over Hoshi's shoulder, leaning into her just a bit. He kept the remote in the other hand though, for the sake of surfing during commercials. If he paid enough attention to notice them, considering this was more about spending time with Hoshi than watching it. It just gave them something to be doing and just be close at the same time.

Hoshi on the outside may have looked like she was watching t.v. with John. Waiting for him to pick a channel he might like. She continued to lay her head upon John's shoulder having a smile on her face. Looking happy yet in her head well....ok ok...well so far...things are going good...hopefully he doesn't suppect a thing...well maybe that I'm just having an off day or something...anything but thinking I've lost my memory....ok well this show.....is ehh...no no bad Hoshi! You have to try and remember what you and John normally do......crud...I'm coming up with a huge blank here.......and-
Hoshi was snapped out of her thoughts when John placed his arm around her. Sending shivers up her spine as well as blushing a little when he leaned into her. ....wow...he is...soo...cute and...he's my boyfriend...bad Hoshi!! Think!! Not on him but try to remember dang it!.....ok well if thinking isn't helping then say something to break the frickin' ice!..... she thought keeping all of the emotions runing from those thoughts in her head and not projecting them.
"...so John are you doing alright?...I mean it wasn't too much trouble to see me today was it?" she asks.
Crud....why did I have to ask that???.....now he's gonna know something up..Oh God or who ever is listening or seeing this from heaven or where ever please, please I beg of you let me get some momery back!! Or atleast not let him suspect anything... she thought/prayed.

John's head tilted to the side just slightly as he focused curious eyes on Hoshi. "Oh course it wasn't too much trouble, I enjoyed the trip, though not near as much as I enjoy the company." He grinned a bit, catching her gaze and his face falling a bit. "I know I seem to be driving the point, perhaps a bit too hard, but if something's up, I want to know. No matter what it is, I'm here for you. You just... don't seem like yourself today Hoshi, and I'm worried about you." He squeezed her shoulder gently and fell silent. He had to stop worrying, he didn't want to drive her away by persisting, but she just kept confusing him so much. Was it possible she'd decided to drive him away, but was too shy to just outright say she didn't like him? That didn't seem to fit though. He had to stop thinking about it...

Hoshi smiled a bit as John gave her his reply to her question, so far he didn't question her about it. But then looked down a bit after him telling her again he was worried. She began to think over her options. ...He's so sweet for worrying about me...but should I tell him...no it would only worry him even more....but then if I don't he'll just keep asking and still worry.....either way he'll worry....well if I am his girlfriend I should tell him shouldn't I? she thought. She mentally sighed and then slowly lifted her head but she didn't pull away from John. She felt safe with him and so comfortable too. She looked into his eyes showing fear and confusion. She prayed she was doing the right thing. "..John I don't want you to worry...but I...I've seemed to have lost my memory..." she said softly then looked away from John. Waiting for his response....praying again she did the right thing.

She blinked and flew after them panting, "I'm coming too." She had a determined and yet stubborn look on her face, "And I won't take no for and answer I wanna help too." She looked at them, "Please? Nee-chan and Nii-chan? I promise I won't be a burden."

John's face had an odd mixture of greater concern and relief. In a way he was glad it wasn't him, and that Hoshi had told him what it was, but she'd lost her memory... "I...wow..." He was silent a long moment, uncertain what to do.
He pressed his palm lightly to her cheek, bringing her face to where he could meet her eyes again. "I really don't know what to do, but we can work this out together, ok? Unless you want otherwise, I'm here for you, and nothing's going to take me away." He let his hand slide down, fingers tracing down her cheek, sliding to her chin and falling. He fell totaly silent then, watching her, waiting to see what she'd say, what she'd do. Would she get her memory back? If so, when? At least he was here, she'd have him to remember, even if only from this point on.

Hoshi's heart rate went up waiting for John response. Wondering what he would say or do. She knew full well he would never think of her the same way he did before she lost her memory. Oh god the silence was killing her. She was very surprised when he pressed his palm lightly onto her cheek making her eyes meet his. Her eyes were full again of confusion and fear. She listen to his words as he spoke. Her heart felt like it was being torn from how sweet, concern, and loyal he was. She felt her eyes tearing up. After John was finished speaking Hoshi tried to figure out what to do.
Should she say something? But what would she say? She waited a few moment before doing something as a response to John.....she leaned into him. Wraping her arms around him in a hug, as she placed her head back on his shoulder. She felt tears slowly fall onto her face. "...I..I do want you to be there for me...I want to work this out with you....I'm sorry for this happening..." she whispered.

John's arms wrapped around Hoshi and he ran his hand along her hair in the back, just holding her. "Shh, it's not your fault, you couldn't have known it would happen. And we will work things out, we will, I promise you. I love you, even if you didn't remember that, you know it now, and this doesn't change it." He forced himself to fall silent, knowing well that he was starting to ramble. Taking this in was just so hard, and he knew it could only be worse for her.
He felt almost awkward holding her, a girl who virtualy hadn't known him the day before, nor he her. Yet he would never be able to let her go at that, and for now, he was all she had. He promised they would work it out, but how. He pushed those thoughts aside focusing on her, continuing to stroke her hair.
