Tomo reached over and gave her shoulder a comforting squeeze, "The past can be a scary thing. Heck, because of it, I have nightmares that I might meet my mother some day." He shrugged, "Sorry, I'm not so great with the advice thing."

She smiled and glance over at him. "No, you're fine with it. It just seems strange to me to be asking someone younger than I about such things..." She put her hand over Tomo's and gave it a return squeeze. "It's amusing though; at my kitsune age, I'm considered old to be having children. Traditionally I'd have at least one by now...My mama already had Akeno when she was my age."

"Please no realty bending here," Tomo pleaded to Shade, one ear turned in his direction. He looked back at Kaen and laughed, "Bah, I've always hated statistics and averages." He said, leaning back a bit, "And besides, if I were pregnant at any age, it would be unusual."

He stops and looks down sadly."Fine but you people are doing the thingy that alwasy ends up causing problems and killing my places to hangout."Thinks of all the places ruined because of events like these.

"Yes, thank you," she said, her eyes narrowed as she watched the randomly summoned cats running around. She shook her head and pulled the book up on her lap. "Elder gave Kai this for me. Women usually wear these at weddings, right?"

Kaen blushed faintly. "I like it a lot. Most vixens wear a kimono of some kind, but I wear those a lot, so I figured a human dress would be a nice change."

Tomo nodded, "Whatever you're most comfortable wearing. It's your wedding, after all." He said, standing up. He glanced at Shade and nodded, "That's better." He added, walking towards the stairs. "Well, I think I'm gonna turn in for the night. See you guys!"
