The gleeful guard was none other than Wahrer. Wahrer ran down to meet the so called New Brother. Wahrer sprinted down the hill so fast he couldn't stop. He ran strait into The New Brother. He let out a sigh as he lay on the ground, his mind jumbled into little pieces. He began to stand with a long drawn out sigh. He stumbled around a bit and found the New Brother.

Brutus was so lost in thought that he was startled when a man bumped into him and fell tot he ground. Feeling bad, Brutus bent toward him and extended a hand. "Sorry friend, I didnt see you there." Such would be expected considering Brutus towered over the human, and easily outweighed him three or so times. "My name is Brutus, who are you?", he said with a small smile on his face. His low voice didnt rise much in pitch even when he asked a question.

Grabbing a single finger and moving his hand up in down with fear that he would be lifted off the ground he said "im er... Wahrer, Wahrer Held. Its uh German sir"
Wahrer was in total awe in the massive figure. He released the finger, slowly and nervously, thinking any more shaking would get him crushed. The hulking mass that was Brutus shaded Wahrer whom was tired of the relatively hot. He was quite relieved that he was still a human and not a pancake under Brutus's body.

The human seemed really timid... scared almost. "You have nothing to fear friend, I'm rather gentle. I've dealt with friendly humies a lot in my life, so I know just how much force it takes to crush 'em." He laughed and cracked one side of his neck. Keeping his head cocked to the side, he let forth another question. "Any idea where Lyanah or Alex are? I wanna see them really bad."

"i'd uh say in the base talking with the other or asleep, its after all near sunset." Wahrer believed his answer would get him flicked like an unwanted bug. Then Wahrer remembered what Brutus said so he stood taller and straighter with confidence.
Wahrer gripped his gun, and thought he saw something coming from the west he couldn't tell because of the glare. "what could that possibly be?" Wahrer gripped his gun tightly, ready to fire.

Brutus squinted his eyes and looked at the direction Wahrer had indicated. Try as hard as he might, he couldnt dicern exactly what the objects were... they seemed humanoid in appearance though. "To be truely honest... I have no idea what that is... let's have a look." He began walking towards the figured, using his spear like a walking stick as if to seem partialy innocent to the people in the distance.
After a few minutes of walking, Brutus and Wahrer were only feet away from a group of four men, three carrying guns. It appeared to be a caravan of some sort.

Lyanah sat on a small outcropping of rock in an area of the wastes far enough away from her brothers and sisters that shecould feel totally alone. This had become her stationary position at sunset, sitting looking out at the wastes...ever since Brutus...she shook her head clearing her thoughts. Looking out at the sands far off it seemed there were small blurs of motion but she dismissed them, it was getting later and often the horizon formed waves of heat off the sand making it hard to discern actual movements.
Slowly she hummed to herself looking out, letting the suns burning rays fade gently. Her eyes grew heavy and fell shut letting her thoughts run rampant. It would be hours before they checked her bunk she had plenty of time to just drift for a while.

"And I am Brutus. We are... asociates witht he Brotherhood of Steel.", he said with a slight bow. "Might I ask what your buisness here is?" The unarmed man took a few steps forward, signalning his guards to lower thier weapons. He wore a very old baseball cap and his old flak jacket seemed to weigh just as much as his massive backpack. He hunched over slighlty as he stood. "Name's Chris, and it's nice to meet you gentlemen." He practicaly chocked as the last word passed his lips. "I'm a simple merchant looking to pass through. I didnt mean no offense or nothin'. I dont suppose I could interest either of you in some of my wares?" Brutus tapped his chin as he thought and cocked an eyebrow. "Depends on what you're selling." The merchant's eyes blazed with the idea of a potential sale. The guards dispersed slightly, allowing room for the boss to do his job while keeping thiers still heavily in mind. After taking off his pack and laying out its contents on the ground the merchant stood up and rubbed the palms of his hands together; surprisngly, he still remainded hunched over. "Pick your poison." Brutus took several glances over the merchant's goods. He seemed to have a lot fo junk scavenged from old car wrecks and destroyed homes. He had some spare ammo, a few dull kitchen knives and some barely legible books. The rest seemed to be worthless... "Wait..." Brutus broke the long silence absent-mindedly as he bent forward, got on a knee and picked up a small humanoid shape. It was a hand-sewn doll with black yarn for hair, buttons for eyes and a stiched mouth. As he picked it up, one of the button eyes pooped off and tumbled into the golden sand and dirt at thier feet. Before he could retreive it, a mighty gust carried the button away. "Oh dont worry about it, it's an easy fix and I wont charge you none." Brutus continued to stare at the doll, it's light body and joyful expresion reminded him of Lyanah... and he thought it would be perfect for her. "How much?" The merchant tapped his chin twice and puleld an arbitrary number off the top of his head. "Three caps." Brutus nodded, reaching over his shoulder, he slid a small bag tied to the rope on his cloak closer to his hands. He dug around in it for a few moments and came away with a fistful of caps. "I dont count so good... here just tak 'em all." The merchant almost chuckled with glee, but instead he silently pocket the money (ther must have been close to fifty caps), and turned to the other man. "Anything for you sir?"

Wahrer stood nearly frozen at the man's feet. Wahrer slowly leaned to whisper to Brutus "you weren't supposed to say we were in the brotherhood or associated with them at all, these people could hate the brotherhood for all we know!"
Wahrer did see something that caught his eye, it was a black Whermacht eagle, along with a Fatherland Cross. He picked both of them up silently, with out looking at the merchant he dropped about 100 caps on the ground. Wahrer barely had any caps left, but now he had something he loved more.
Wahrer was in total shock, he asked the merchant peacefully "where did you find this...?" Chris responded in a confused manner "I uh found that on a dead man, he had a gas mask and a gas grenade and a bullet belt but no gun... why?"
Wahrer looked up slowly and put on his gas mask. He dropped the eagle and cross. "You my friend are now being hunted like me... i knew something was wrong, now you have drawn the Storm Elites to the brotherhood, and yourself everything will either be laid to waste or covered with bodies."
Wahrer took the eagle and cross, put it in his back pack. "if they don't find one of us, we could all be in trouble..." Wahrer knew he was in trouble. Chris was bewildered and lost he said slowly "uh sir are you slightly crazy or just crazy?"
Wahrer grabbed Chris by the collar of his shirt and liffted him off the ground he ignored the other men cocking their weapons. Loudly and clearly Wahrer said "You think this is a joke!? You think im crazy!? I'll show ya crazy!" Wahrer took his gun and aimed it at the roof of his mouth.

Brutus was still admiring the doll, thinking of how happy his lil sis would be to see he got her something when he was gone when the commotion broke his train of thought. He looked up to see the guards pointing thier guns at him and his companion, then saw that it was Wahrer who had started it. He sighed heavily, placing the doll in the sack on his back and squeezing Wahrer's wrist very tightly, almost to it's breaking point. The gun dribbled out of Chris' mouth.
"Self control my friend, we musnt let words lead to our demise." His scowl toward his companion turned into a smile as he looked at Chris again. "Please forgive us. Thank you for the wonderful items, but we must be going." Chris had retreated several steps behind his guards by this point. "You...ARE going to let us be on our way wont you?" His voice boomed around them and his face grew very stern as his large muscles tightened. "... sure... let 'em go guys." All but one guard lowered thier weapon. Brutus kept his eye on him and after a moment of staring him down he too decided it wasnt worth the fight. Brutus turned, hand still clenched on Wahrer's arm. "Pick up your gun and trinkets soldier and then we'll be on our way."

Wahrer didn't care for the pain of Brutus's hand. He grabbed the eagle and the cross. Before turning around on his way Wahrer sent a stare so strong Chris felt a small jolt of pain go up is spine. Wahrer said peacefuly "Take care my friend, do not hope for anything it is lost in these lands."
Wahrer turned and walked away along side Brutus. Wahrer fell down. He had been shot twice, It was one of the guards. As wahrer fell he fired his gun at the guards, hitting one in the face and scraping another's arm. Wahrer stood back up and ran around a rock. There he sat, not caring for the bullet wounds but wondering what Brutus was up to.

( for some reason this post isnt showing up, i hope this works -.-" )
Lyanah's serene expression crumpled into a scowl at the sound of gunshots being fired. Opening her eyes once more she looked back to the blur that she'd thought to be some sort of desert heat mirage and stood up brushing herself off. Sighing she made her way towards the source of her disturbance, smoothly pulling out one of her short knives on the way.
Rolling it across her fingers she walked more slowly as she neared the source of the comotion, her eyes picked out one large figure dressed in a way she'd never really been familiar with and one of their very own brothers. Rolling her eyes she chucked her knife into the neck of one of the shooter, never breaking stride, and called out "I suggest that everyone here calms down before any more have to fall, i really hate this kind of thing you know!" The puzzled and slightly surprised guards stopped their firing for the moment. Scowling she turned her head to the rock Wahrer was crouched behind, "Trouble just seems to follow you around like a stray dog doesn't it?"
