Lais lifted an eyebrow. "Would you want to sleep in a room full of strangers?" She put her hands on her hips. "Apparently while you've been here you've forgotten how to respect a woman."

"You show how ignorant you are, you would of had your own room to yourself. But then you only delt with high society so you wouldn't know such things. As for me forgetting how to treat a lady, no, that is a skill I shall never lose, it is merely there are no ladies currently in the room."

Lais looked her brother in the eye. "So if I wore dresses and acted like a ninny, you'd treat me like a woman? You know very well I am a woman, and you should respect me as one. Maybe it was a mistake to come here."

Looking nonchalant as could be, "So what do you plan on doing here then? It's not like you'll find anyone that can pay a reasonable dowry for you here."

Lais rolled her eyes. "I don't care about a dowry. If I wanted money I can make it on my own, I don't need anyones help. I have enough money to support myself." She paused. "I had many offers back home, If i was looking for a dowry I would have married one of them." Lais looked around feeling stupid. "Is it so bad to want something more?"

"No certainly not at all, but that doesn't explain what you will do here." Quin thought for a while, "I have heard word that people would like to have another doctor in the area, could you do that? I don't remeber what you set off to do with your life back home so I have no idea what you're trained to do."

Lais calmed down. "I have some healing powers and I know how to stitch a wound. I wouldn't say im the best doctor but I know what Im doing." Lais looked her brother in the eye. "Is there really no doctors here?"

Burtsing through the doors, hair a mess and out of breath, Chanti was dragging the body of a "subdued" Wedsday along with her. He's really so much lighter than he looks she thought to herself somewhat in shock

"Most unusual." Quin came foward looking over Wed, "Seems I'm getting some of the strangest house guest today, well Chanti, what are we to do with him?" Quin had no love for Wed but seeing him like that moved him enough to offer hospitality to him.
