hey i love manga n anime, but i cant draw - i can only doodle (thats not really drawing) im trying to do some drawings for my room but its not going so well.. i cant draw people only landscapes... ive been practicing chibi a few months ago but ive gotten too busy with school to do anything now

OH EM GEE HI!! My name is Elan. Like the car and the french word. 3nodding I am 16, and am still at school D: But it is ok, becuase I get £30 (EMA) a week for going. Yay for being poor. Um, so yea. I first saw animé when I was ten. On holiday. On Fox Kids. It was Sailor Moon biggrin But then after that, I kinda totally forgot for ages. And then they started showing Pokémon and such like on TV. So I was like YAY POKÉMON! And then I really started to get into drawing mange three years ago. After we moved to Cumbria. And I don't know why either. -shrugs- All I know is that over three years, I have chopped and changed my style many times. My manga style was recently influenced by www.neolucky.deviantart.com . When I draw faces at the side they look a bit like hers now. XD But it's cool, becuase I'm not copying. Umumum. ♥ Hey guys~!! I wish I could make my entry form visible, it would explain alot of the reasons why I have requested to be in this guild. First off Ill just show some samples I did of some random people with good and simple avatars.. [x] [x] ..these I was just bored and trying to practice. Anyway, I initialy came into the guild to learn how to draw much better and eventualy, and gradualy, become the artist that can draw the quality drawings I wish to draw. Im a very detailed person, like I dont skip over ussualy pointless subcategories, and Ive been inspired by my 14-year-old sister's artwork. It really is truly amazing; She started as drawing little cats and nekos, and now, after some maturing and some lessons from an Uncle, who is a professional artist, she drawings, though 98% pencil, and simply amazing to see. She will soon enough use colors, and by then she could sell her artwork for realy money, im sure. But anyway, I was nspired by seeing her develop this artwork form over the several years, so inspired I began questioning my mother about learning to draw her style. She told me it would take at least 3 years to learn it, and I wouldnt enjoy doing it like my sister does, but Im still going to try. I can proudly say Im a very fast learner. There is an MMORPG called Gunz Online, and there's a very hard technique that only some one-digit percent of the population can do. Many people took up to a year to learn, regognize and use it, but I only took 2 months to perfect that and 2 other easier techniques. It's like my brain's a sponge; I grasp onto fact quickly and rely and live by that fact.
I have just gotten submitted into this guild, but im already, scince yesterday, giving out free aviart (or scetches as some particularly rude gaian announced) just to test what I should do and shouldnt do. I hope to learn anatomy, facial/body details, and most of all, shading. I have apsolutley no experience in shading, and I think its one of the most important prospect pof a work of art. Hmm, where's this headed.. Heh.
Alright, im going kinda lengthy right now, so Ill just say that learning the draw well in this gaian guild would be a privledge to me, and I hope to become a much better artist.

Oi! Name's Shrew. It's six thirty in the afternoon, and I just got up with a pounding headache. Yay for college.
I'm a writing nut, writerfreak, psycho crazy loco kid who puts words on paper. Whatever you want to call me. But I think in pictures, and I've never been able to get those pictures out. I want them to go away. And thus, I wish to learn to draw...yay...
Yeah, not exciting.

Allo everyone! I'm cash-chan. I'm 16, and I love drawing. ^^ I'm always learning new ways to make my art better, so I was quite excited to find this guild. <3 I hope to get to talk to everyone at some point during my stay. For me, I'll probably lurk the tutorials. =D
