"Don't take that! Give him a taste of your Dragonbreath!" Mitsu directed. Haku shook off the Leer and breathed what appeared to be flames at the Treeko. Surprised by the attack it hit the Grass Pokemon square in the chest, a critical hit. "Nice!" Mitsu cheered. Haku turned around and gave his trainer a smile.
"Get up Treeko! Hit 'em with a Pound!" the boy called, his voice sounded determined. Taking advantage of Haku's distraction the Treeko landed a hard hit on the Water Pokemon with it's green tail. Haku was sent tumbing back again for the second time today.
"Ack!" Mitsu said looking a bit surprised, "Let's try and keep focus okay Haku? Use Bubble!" Haku shot out several light blue spheres at the Grass Pokemon who dodged most of them. The ones that had hit it's mark doing little damage. "Another Pound Treeko!" The boy shouted.
The Treeko charged at Haku landing another blow, but this time he held his ground. "Dragonbreath!" Mitsu said seeing an opening as the Grass Pokemon began to jump backwards, leaving itself open to an attack. Haku launched the attack as Mitsu hoped it would hit.

Landing ever so smoothly (for once), Mike dismounted Nitro, the baby Pokemon still in his arms. "It's time to get all you healed, that was a pretty intense fight." The doors to the Pokemon Center opened before him, the trainer walking in after recalling Nitro.
Since Joy was out, Mike placed his 5 Pokemon in a tray and placed it under the sign reading "Pending".
Napalm wriggled around, hopping out of Mike's grasp. "Agh!" His fingertip was scalded by the superheated Pokemon. He made his way over to the couch, not even noticing Keegan as he sat down blowing on his finger.

The attack might have as well missed by a mile. The boy exploded in laughter. Oh duh! Haku had only hit things with Dragonbreath at a close range. But what about Bubbble then? ...Well Bubbles float. "Don't let that phase you Haku. Try aiming your attack this time 'kay? All right, another Dragonbreath!" Caught off guard the boy immediatly stopped laughing, "Treeko dodge that!"
Another miss. The Treeko was just too fast. "Hm.." Mitsu thought, "Let's try a Smokescreen!" Haku shot a blob of ink at the Treeko. It hit it's mark covering the Pokemon's eyes a bit. "Of course that hit's it's mark," Mitsu muttered. She felt like hitting her head with the palm of her hand. Of couse it hits, he's had practice on me. Mitsu thought as the picture Dante had captured appeared in her head.
The Grass type Pokemon attempted to wipe the ink from his face, failing horribly. "Try another Dragonbreath," Mitsu instructed. Haku took aim, a few seconds long, and shot another stream of flames at the Pokemon. The attack missing by inches. "Once more Haku." This time the attack hit, the Treeko taking in a bit more damage. "Third time's a charm," Mitsu smiled.

Likewise, Keegan hadn't noticed Mike come in either, as his mind was currently occupied by thoughts of his next gym battle. Nurse Joy had to tap the boy on the shoulder to get his attention. "This little Cyndaquil is fine," she said. "Just a bump on the head. Nothing to worry about."
"Oh, great," Keegan sighed, reaching over to pick the small Pokemon up. It danced nimbly out of his reach and jumped down from the table.
"Cynda!" it sang, as it scampered across the floor, making a dash for the door.
"Hey wait!" Keegan called, wincing as the small fire Pokemon ran headlong into the clear pane of glass, sliding down with a small trail of smoke escaping the pores on its back. "Nothing to worry about, eh?" he sighed, and shook his head. "Come here, you little brat," he grinned, picking up the dazed fire Pokemon and heading outside.

"We definitely need to get you all healed," Nina said. "Let's see... Fortree's a close place, isn't it? Why don't we go there?" Krystal nodded, and stretched out a little bit as Nina got on. Taking off into the sky, the Dragon Pokemon left a little trail of sparkles as it flew.
Nina's right, Krystal thought, from the short time I'd been in that battle, it was tough... If I was called out, then I'm certain everyone else must have gotten knocked out. But, I'm really glad that Nina and Mike made up, even if it was at my near-expense. The Dragon recalled when Nitro had grabbed her and slammed her down onto the ground, looking down on her, ready to attack.
Nitro... was that his name? Is that what Mike called him? Krystal thought. For a Charizard, Nitro's kind of...

Brock was now steamed. "Well I guess i underestimated you a bit. Let's go Sandslash! Use Swords Dance and then hit it with your Rock Slide!" The pokemon obliged as it sharpened it's claws on a nearby rock. Then in a massive display of power the rocks nearby began to cascade twards Sunfire.
"Uh oh." Mag grimaced as his pokemon began to jump from rock to rock against the flow. He managed to dodge several rocks but more came and they finally hit the nible fire fox. It squirmed out from beneath a rock still ready to fight. "Okay, Quick Ember!"
Sunfire once again shot foreward in a Quick Attack but this time he let out Ember while moving creating a speeding fireball. "Crush Claw!" Brock shouted as the combination drew nearer. Sandslash's claws glinted white as he lunged foreward in a counter attack.
The two forces collided in a loud explosion of dirt and debris as the Sandstorm died down. Sunfire skidded out of the blast as did Sandslash. The two stood still panting for several moments untill the Sandslash fell down and small lights glinted around Sunfire restoring health.
"Ack! Well you win this round." Brock admitted as he recalled Sandslash. "Nice job Sand... It is all up to you now Onix!" He shouted as he released the immense rock pokemon.

Weepinbell squeezed the Venusaur as hard as he could, the rocky ride he was on starting to make him feel dizzy. Jaeshan grit his teeth again, watching the two grass types intently. “Weepinbell!” Jaeshan called after a few moments. “Quickly! Sleep Powder!”
“Venusaur use Sleep Powder!” the pretty trainer called. Simultaneously two bursts of shimmering blue powder was released into the sky, one from the large flower on Venusaur's back, the other from Weepinbell's two leaves. As the dust settled around them, both Pokemon were sound asleep, Weepinbell still clasped onto Venusaur's head.
“Well that was interesting,” Jaeshan said, scratching his head as he walked over for a closer look.
“Yeah, no kidding,” replied the female trainer, also coming closer. The two both did a circle around the sleeping Pokemon, arriving back at their starting spots.
“Draw, then?” they both said at the same time, and laughed.

After Nitro attacked me and I told him to stop, he did, Krystal thought, smiling a little bit. Most other Pokemon would have kept attacking if I asked them to stop... but Nitro didn't. And he even helped my wounds to get healed a little faster! Aside from the vicious attacking and berating, he seems to be a gentle-Poke-man.
The Dragon's cheeks seemed to blush, and her winged ears flapped rapidly.
Heavens, she thought, is this the human emotion of infatuation...? Krystal's pupils shrunk. No. No! It can't be! I've only known him for all of five or ten minutes... I can't be infatuated with him already. She blinked.
But, he did have pretty eyes. And claws. And his firey tail was nice too.

As Dante watched the battle between the two trainers he thought for a bit leaning against the tree Kenny was now playing with his egg on the ground rolling it around a bit. Other then Apollo, Kenny was the only one of his pokemon that didn't have some sort of mental disorder so Dante just let him do what he wanted knowing the ghost pokemon wouldn't let the egg get damaged. Anyway he was thinking about giving both Kasiya and Winona passes to the Battle Frontier like he had given Flannery. After all they were both good trainer's and he was sure Scott wouldn't be mad at him for doing it. 'Hmm what should I do after I cheak up on whatever pokemon my Mother gave to Mike? Maybe I should get some more tm's? But all the one's I want cost so much... Maybe I could battle the gym leaders for them? That sounds good, my pokemon get to battle and I get a TM if I win.' It never occured to Dante that he would get a badge as well as a TM.

The small plants covering the Rattata's back glowed a faint green, the light trailing from the small leaves floated across the gap separating the two Pokemon and seemed to be absorbed by Twinkers. Whatever was happening seemed to be hurting the Rattata and maybe healing the small star shaped Pokemon.
”Weird” thought Akane. ”Now what do I do?” she pondered ... “Oh yeah! I taught Twinkers something called Return. Maybe I should do that.” Finding her voice Akane commanded “Twinkers! Use Return!”
The small mouse started to charge at Twinkers at about the same time that the Cleffa started charging the Rattata. Four smallish red hearts materialized around Twinkers, spiraling to a point just in front of her. Where they merged a larger heart formed ready to smash into the oncoming Rattata. Both Pokemon flew backwards from the mighty collision, Twinkers tumbled end over end a short distance, while the Rattata slide on its side quite a bit further, obviously the rodent sustained more damage then the Twinkers did.

Twinkers rolled back onto its feet with a short “Fa!” sound. The Rattata got back onto some shaky legs and looked about, obviously seeking a way to escape.
“Hit it!” came Akane's command and Twinkers closed the distance to obey. However the Rattata had other ideas. Using an incredibly quick burst of speed, the tiny rodent leaped from a nearby tree, to the fence and back again until it had gained the height it need to escape to safety from its much slower opponent.
“Well, I guess we won ...” Akane said to no one in particular.

Picking the egg up he floated towards whatever it was. Not quite knowing what exactly it was he then floated over to Dante and pointed to the item. Snapping out of his fantisy of free TM's Dante glanced over and spotted the Super Potion. Raising an eyebrow at it and wondering who could have dropped it he shrugged and bent down to pick it up and put it into his bag.

Tears formed in Tropius' eyes, the Pokemon letting out a muffled shriek. Desperately the leafy saurian looked over to her trainer, a pained expression on her face. Winona merely nodded, a smile on her face. Let's just hope this works. At extreme close range, Fang would take a solid hit from this attack. Traopius opened her mouth, breathing in and shooting a powerful Hyper Beam at the Crobat still dangling from her nose. Following the attack, Tropius slumped to the ground out of breath, the attack taking olot out of her.

Why in Mew's name is it that I feel infatuated towards Nitro? Krystal mentally asked herself. I've been around for a good long time and I've lived around many Pokemon ever since I was but a Dratini... So why in the world am I attracted to him? She blinked, and the Pokemon pondered this thought as she landed down in Fortree. She followed Nina into the Pokemon Center, only to be recalled back into her Pokeball.
Ah, Krystal thought as she remain in her Pokeball, beginning to get restored to health, that's much better.
