Raine stood still, keeping her eyes ahead of her. "We'll see..." She replied, lowering her lids. Staring out into the wood, her thoughts had immediatly shifted to her sister. A sigh passed her lips.

...Threatning to spill into words... She whispered a fragment of the lullaby her and her sister had both sang quite frequently. She lowered her head and kept her eyes on the red earth below her.

{Wow, I need to catch up a little. I missed a lot… }

Elva stayed in her place, her feet mounted upon the ground. Her eyes franticly raced from all the directions around her. Her breath becoming short, Elva started to pant, panic showing in her violet eyes. Shifting her position, Elva twirled to face the direction behind her; nothing. She swallowed slowly as she stepped her right foot back, shifting it against the cold, hard ground. Her arms immediately swung to her side as she glanced all around her for anything familiar, or at least anything at all. There was still nothing; no sounds, no light, nothing! The area was surrounded by darkness. It was as though she was locked in a giant bubble.

Suddenly, a cold, heartless laugh filled the air. Elva’s eyes widen as she recognized the voice right away. Spinning around towards the direction she had been before, Elva’s eyes filled with tears. Her voice became weak as she glanced upon the sight that had appeared before her. There on the ground, lifeless laid Shiero, her body covered in fresh blood. Beside her sat Midnight, his break poking against her body. Elva fell to the ground as her knees had given out. The palms of her hands rested against the ground as she clenched them violently. Tears began to overwhelm her eyes. Then she looked towards her side. Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes locked upon her hip. Her whip, where was it? It wasn’t against her hip like always? Elva whined as a terrible thought past through her head. It was her… She was the one that had made that horrible laugh. It was her pet that sat against her sister’s body, pecking it as though it was a big oak tree. It was her that had shed her own sister’s blood. She had killed Shiero! “No, it can’t be…” Elva whimpered in a soft tone.

Elva couldn’t dare to look up but forced herself to. Her sight had become bleary as her tears had blocked her view. Her eyes darted past the body as her gaze locked upon the whip covered at blood that lay at her sister’s side. She glanced back down as her voice became weaker with each word. ”No… No…No!” Elva screamed as she picked herself up, stamping her foot against the ground, walking over towards her lifeless sister, pressing her foot lightly against Midnight’s chest, causing him to back off from Shiero a bit. He ruffled his feathers lightly as he looked down towards the ground, his big yellow eyes glowing in the darkness.

Gently, Elva bent down by her sister’s body, wiping away the tears from her eyes as she lightly ran her finger through Shiero’s hair. She had to bite down upon her lip to keep herself from crying. But it was no use; the tears continued to come. In a soft whisper, Elva began to sing the lullaby over again, which the two of them had always sung together.

“We are not together here
Though we lie entwined
To make room for the other presence
We both draw back in our minds
I have a prophecy…”

Elva stopped suddenly as tears streamed from her eyes. She lightly closed them as she began to sing the next line.

“Threatening to spill into words…”

Suddenly, Elva stopped her singing as she opened her eyes. Her eyes widen as she looked at what was around her. Durithill, two other women, and… Shiero! Elva’s eyes filled with wonder and suddenly became confused. Hadn’t she killed her sister? She had seen it with her own eyes! How?! She had no clue. She glanced down to see that both her sister’s dead body, and Midnight were all gone. Even her whip had been placed back to its rightful place. How…? She asked to herself as she looked up towards Shiero. Her voice filled Elva’s ears, and a smile rose to her face. She too sung the part of the lullaby. Her eyes with tears, however this time they were tears of joy…

"Oh, and I forgot to mention." Durithill said, turning towards Elva. "Someone else we know wandered into the mist."

Shifting her position, Raine averted her eyes towards where her sister was standing. Fresh tears running down her face. "..Elva?!" Raine called to her before running towards her sister, wrapping both of her arms around her. Why was she in tears... what did she see? Shoer had been worried about her the moment she was gone... and now, she had even more right to worry that she was crying.

Robin swiftly turned and watched as Raine embraced her sister. Could that have been what Veronica was expecting? She shook herself from her thoughts, pushing what Veronica had said to her to the back of her mind. Slowly she walked over to where Elva and Raine were, taking her sweet time. If Durithill found out Robin had spoken with Veronica, he would surely ask questions.

Durithill walked over to them as well. As he passed Robin, he whispered "That was quite an interesting chat you had." He didn't say anything else, but instead hurried over to Raine and Elva.

Raine slowly let go of her sister, beginning to question what was wrong. The traces of tears stained her face. "Elva.. what happened?" She asked, taking her sister's hands in her own. "Are you alright?"

Elva smiled brightly as she felt her sister's embraced. It had felt like so long since the two had last seen each other. Although, once her sister had let go of her, Elva's face sadened as she remembered what she saw. Tears began to swell in her eyes as she looked into her sister's eyes, whose were filled with worry. It only grew worse as Elva felt her warm hands wrap in hers.

Instead of answering Shiero's question, Elva glanced down at her feet which shifted back and forth in the dirt. She bit down upon her lip as she sighed, wondering if she should really tell her sister what she saw.

Robin gasped, stopping as she was. She watched as Durithill walked up to Raine and Elva. She kept her distance, wondering how she was to explain all of this to Raine and the others. After a few minutes of pondering she quickley jogged over to them. Doll kept quiet, hoping Durithill wouldn't bring anything up.

"Elva...?" She called her name, her brows falling into a concerned expression. "Elva.. are you alright?" Raine could relate to her though... why she was in tears. She was too... infact, the images still haunted her memory. Releasing her hands and embracing her again for support, Shiero kept her sister close to her. "What ever it was... it was only an illusion..."

Elva listened to her sister's comforting words, and gazed up towards her, replacing her frown with a weak smile. Tears continued to stream down the sides of her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around her sister, burying her face is her chest. There, she contined to cry, whimpering as she began to speak softly towards Shiero. "You-you were dead... I-I killed you..." She cut off there for a moment, wrapping her arms tighter around her sister before continuing. "There was blood all over you... I-I-" She stopped, sobbing even more as her grip on her sister became tighter. She wished dearly that that terrible memory would just go away.

Shiero's eyes saddened as she rested her head atop her sisters. "It's alright.. It was only an illusion..." She whispered, reminding her that what she saw was false. "It was showing you what your greastest fear was...." Raine closed her eyes and took in a shallow breath. "I know... It's alright..."

Elva listened closely to her sister's words as she continued to cry. Pulling back from her, Elva glanced into Shiero's eyes, bringing a weak smile to her face. She wiped away her tears as she sniffled softly. "Shiero... I-I was so scared. I thought I had lost you." She spoke, avoiding her sister's gaze as she spoke. She couldn't stand to look at her for the moment. It was too painful; reminded her of what that terrible illusion had shown her...

"Are you alright, Violent?" Durithill asked as he walked up to them. "I didn't think so many people would get caught in it or I wouldn't have tried it..." he said with a sigh. "I apologize."

Shieo looked down at her sister, a pained expression still held within her azure hues. "Elva... it's alright.. I understand..." She whispered lowly, she too, was on the verge of allowing tears to spill; warm tears rolling down the curve of her cheeks. "I know... I know what you went through.." Her hands rose onto her sister's shoulder's cotinuing to look at her, hoping she would soon turn, even if it was to burst out into tears.
