Haruna ate her salad happily, thumping her foot against the floor.

You could still be nice sometimes though, she said, looking down. Be nice to nice people, and mean to the other peoples. Charity finished a piece of quesadilla before taking another into her hand. And yes, she kisses my scrapes and cuts. You should have your mommy kiss yours. Or find someone else who will, she offered.

It's mean and nasty and dirty because he's always so mean to my mommy, and he's probably thinking mean thoughts about her now... Haruna said, grabbing onto Charity's hand, putting the images of him forcing himself upon her.
Ryuji rolled his eyes to Haruna. Why do you always have to think negatively about me, bunny-girl? he spat, his tone hurtful.

Don't be mean to her! Charity growled. She's my friend. And I think it's sad that you have to fantasize about your mommy because you're too much of a p***k to get your own girlfriend! She stopped herself before she said anything else, her eyes widened as she wondered where her rage suddenly came from.

Haruna's eyes widened as she heard Charity's outbirst, then covered her ears.
Ryuji looked to Charity, his eyes blank. You... are one audacious little girl, he said in a flat tone. He stood up, looking down to her. And you better watch you're ******** mouth, he said before walking out of the kitchen.

Charity looked to Haruna and frowned. Do you think he hates me? she asked before taking a bite of her salad. I was trying to be nice, y'know. She looked down to her bowl, still frowning.

Charity shrugged under Haruna's touch. It's fine I guess, she sighed, finishing her salad. I just try to be nice to people, and they don't want me to be or something. I don't know why I snapped like that though.
