damn it the Tau did it to me again. The main weapons on the tanks were just ineffective. And i could do anything but glance their tanks. I did almost take out the Ethral but he cut me CC attacks so i missed. But the storm troopers deepstiking in during turn 4 really was effective

*rolls eyes* duh, stormies are vicious against anything. I"ve been a squad of stormies take down two squads of genestealers. Stormies kick a**. ALL HAIL THE Grenadiers! Though the IG seem to have a serious weakness against the Tau in my experience (Being a Tau and recently an IG player).

Well, thats pretty obvious, the Tau have S10 weapons everywhere to take out tanks, and lots of rail rifles with greater range than Lasguns to work away the infantry.

Tau are very prone to crying when you field plenty and I mean plenty of Guardsmen. Put them in lasgun range and you can ahve a ball.

I realize that LT, but that's the thing, with my tau, I always find myself MOVING UP, they're always afraid of me (I'm yet to figure out why!). THe only problem is that while they move up, so do my kroot (That's right, the hated "panzy kroot") and then as they can charge and ares uperior in closecombat I "hop skip" along your line, sot hat I isolate your guardsment o my own automatic weapons fire (don't forget my pulse carbines for pinning!). The funny thing is that even though Tau have good anti-tank weaponry, my greatest fear against IG is the leman russ cannon. Why? Because they do quite well against my fire warriors. Tis wierd....

Mat rejoice guardsmen i have secured us a new banner Before my army got really big I wanted a banner for each platoon. The big special edition banner for the Command platoon and the normal Cadian banners for the platoons. (For the rule lawyers, the models simply counted as veterans with ccw and lp, nothing more. The banners added more flavour to the mix)

I use small clear bases and spare parts to make Drones that act as Eldar Guardians, or proxies for any other Eldar squad, for that matter. Very useful.
