Also, anymore then the D3+3 Death Company come from other squads. At the beginning of the game the BA players rolls a die for each squad. Depending on the roll, one or more of the squad members are taken by the 'black rage' and are taken from that squad and put into the Death Company. So I mean, when you pay 180 pts for the Chaplain and get the D3+3 and then taking from other squads, the BA player is paying a good amount for the Death Company.

At least they cost more now, before 4th, I think the Chaplain was only 80 pts or something like that. It was A LOT cheaper. The extra points were finally added to take into account the free D3+3 Death Company.
He did none of the rolls for black rage, he said they were all Death Co.

Oh, if this was an all Death Company army then I'm mistaken about that. I know it's possible to do an all DC army but not sure what the rules are for that. Anyways, my previous post I was talking about the rest of a Blood Angels army only getting the number 1 and 2, but if it's all Death Company then they get all those things. However the part on the +1 int and +1 str still remain, they only apply if he charged you and only for the first assualt phase.
Also, i forgot to mention, he also said it was legal to have 2 marines with power fists in each of his squads.
xd no.
Death Company marines may be given a power weapon or power fist if they were the veteran sergeant of a unit and went crazy. Also, all death company, unless using the rules above, MUST be in power armour. No scouts, No termies.

No, termy squads can be used in a death company army - at +25% points cost per model...
But if a terminator joins the D3+3 death company of a standard army, then it loses its armor and becomes a normal marine in power armor.

Sounds like you got cheated on during that game >.<

Anyways, speaking of the all Death Company army, I remember one of my friends bringing up an interesting idea. Death Company army vs. Khornate army. Since Death Company are pretty much Khorne berserkers it'd be an interesting fight!

I just placed a bid of $10 on 20 RT-01 on ebay.

For those that don't know, the RT-01 were the VERY FIRST multi part kit made by GW. They were what we now call MK6 Armor. "Beakie" or "Womble" type to fans. They had a studded left shoulder pad and a rimless right shoulder pad. Also, RIGHT HANDED POWER FISTS (power glove)... note that all plastic power fists nowadays are left handed.

Good find. I own loads of the older guys. The white plastic is very touchy though you have to be careful if you plan to strip the paint from them. Also they are shorter then the newer models. And as a bonus a ebay tip. NEVER bid unless it is down to 30 seconds and you know you are going to win. Otherwise you get all happy to be shot down by someone like me... Although I am not currently in the market for mini's...

these ones are still mint on the sprue. no paint or glue, just a few clipped off the sprue and included in the auction. It's already up to $27!! I'll go as high as say... $75

Squat Marines. Nice Idea. Actually, how much smaller are they than the current models?

just under a centimeter normally.. its notieable, but no one cares. My chaplain conversion was an old legion of the damned model, so he's short too.

I found a second auction for 30 of them too! I'm bidding on both of them. Tons of midget collector models for me!
