I had never thought of that, its so simple, just NOT giving the warlock an psychic power.
God damn thats so simple, and using their rules you could represent some very cool units.
Thank you for having posted that.

Okay.. so many things to comment on.
Avatar Bonesinger Kill teams
Kaela Mensha Khaine - The current avatar is nice... though he is surely standing only at 12 feet tall in scale. An Avatar of Khaine is an Eldar imbued with the spirit essence of Kaela Mensha Khaine. A tower and burning entity with a might sword, spear or axe. Comparing the two... the new one is better for a couple reasons. He actually looks like he is a burning entity! FINALLY! Second. Way more detail. YAY! Third... did I mention he looks like a burning entity? Fourth. He is 4.7 inches tall.. and yes his stance seems awkward for a war creature, but he looks like he is just walking foreward ready to smash something aside. His hand is now perfect to put a person in, though. I guessed to around 20 scale feet tall. Fifth.. did I mention... HES ON ******** FIRE!
Even so, the old one had it's charms... still.. I like the new one alot. ^_^
Bonesinger.
Oooooohhhhh! I wonder if he will be able to repair Wraithlords and Wraithguard. biggrin Very nice model, and yes, I would agree I believe that he is manipulating the wraithbone he stands upon. Bone singers pull wraithbone from the warp.
Kill teams.
Kill teams are a team of elites that overcome immeasurable odds! Think A-team or Fire warrior for PS2, though that is only one man.

Thank you Phil Kelly for ruining the Eldar... stressed
and thank you GW for making 4th edition the biggest pain in the rear haul to enjoy.. with constantly changing rules and things that make no damn sense what so ever.
So! How about them Darker Kin? I hope they get raped by the collective stupidity of GW as well.

this would be my first post in the guild, so if i may be so generic, i would post my Eldar Army List.
Ulthwe Army
Farseer Council: 3 farseers, and three warlocks (love that Mind War. i hope to god they dont change it)
Guardian Squad: mostly for show. and for compulsory legality. and show. a token amount. just enough to fill two troops.
two squads of seven Howling banshees, one with an exarch.
rangers: 6 or 7 of them. i think i lost one sweatdrop
fire prism tank: its a laser with a blast template. need i say more?
i have some swooping hawks, but i never ever use them cos they suck against anything that isnt an ork or a guardsman. i hope they get an overhaul.
i also have an Eldrad Ulthran, a Jain Zar, and an Asurman, hand of Asuryan.
so yeah. little sketchy for the fleshed-outted-ness, but ive been waiting for the new Codex to arrive before i make any more financial commitments to them.

oh yeah. i also have the Avatar. however, i didnt like the original avatar cos he looked too much like an angry tiki-man, so i had bought the Necron's C'tan Nightbringer model and painted him up to look like some kinda lithe eldar killing machine, and thats what i use when i dont feel like fielding aforementioned enraged tiki-being.
...much to my dismay, Forgeworld proceeded to crank out thier own beautiful splendiforous Avatar model. even if you can see his a**. but thats not something youd call him out on. he'd hurt you.

I don't think an Avatar is meant to be particularly lithe, it's a creaky magma beast that smashes stuff into the ground with a great big sword.

Also it doesnt have to be a big sword. Could be a spear, axe, etc. I believe the original fluff said the wailing doom changed every stroke and was always a different weapon.

yeah, the Wailing Doom changes shape to fit the task at hand. And where the Avatar is described as a massive form made of magma and stuff, it never mentions build, and i thought that a more eldary look would be neat. all in all, the conversion, as it were, was a success.

I'm sure Khaine himself was as acrobatic as a Harlequin, but the Avatar is just a chunk of him stuck into a warrior in retrospect, and he'd probably have nowhere near the level of ability needed to use it to it's fullest extent. I also think that a clunky war-beast better fits the description and role of the Avatar.
