*the rocks prove little challange for the trio, but Ces, her thoughts not on the climb, does not notice the unstable ground ahead of her and leaps into a trap, a huge gaping hole easily 50 feet deep which had been covered over with underbrush. She screams as she falls and slows her fall with her claws scraping at the muddy earth, unable to pull herself upwards and landing with a heavy thump at the bottom of the wide hole.*

*following closely behind Ces he doesnt have enough time to react when he sees her dissapear, then all of a sudden he too is airborn landing in a pile of claws and dirt at the bottom. gingerly he gets up an tests his limbs making sure nothing is broken before going over to ces.* are you ok?

im ok just some cuts and scrapes, if were going to get you out of here im going to have to carry you out *looks up at the steep inclines of the wall* looks like i got some digging to do so we can climb out * gingerly picks ces up and places her on one side of the hole, then goes and begins to collapse the far side so theyll have a ramp to walk out of. Not bothering to turn around concentrating on his work he shouts loud enough to be heard over the furious commotion hes causing with his claws.* Any idea who wouldve made this thing?

*the bottom of the hole starts to fill up as the side slowly collapses down creating an easily negotiable way up out of the pit. * ok ces now im going to pick you up and put you on my back. find the most comfortable position you can find with your leg, then wrap your arms around my neck and hold on tight . whatever made this hole is probably waiting at the top for us. *picks her up like she weighed nothing more than a feather and gently places her on his shoulders, waiting for her to get into position before going any father*

*he smiles as he feels ces burrow deeper into his fur... he had never been so close to someone before. Determined to calm all the emotions roiling in his head he starts digging/climbing with renewed effort, hoping that the physical exertion will leave his mind in a calmer state than it is now.*

*slowly digging their way to the top they eventually make it out of the hole. His once white coat that shone in the moonlight is now almost completly brown from all the dirt and his gleaming claws are caked in mud and flecks of rock* i can still run fast with you holding on ces, is your ankle well enough that you want to go after those who did this to us, or shall we return to the dens so i can properly tend to your wound and leave those cowards for another day?
