Shannon sighed again and she turned to Boone. "I'm going to the beach.." She said quietly as she exited the caves.

Boone stood up quickly and followed her. After what Sayid had told him, he wasn't going to let Shannon out there on her own. He quietly walked behind Shannon, not wanting to upset her more.

Shannon turned around. "Why are you following me?" She asked annoyed.

Boone shrugged. "It's dangerous.." he replied. She'd try to push him away, but he wouldn't leave her.

Shannon rolled her eyes. "Not anymore dangerous than normal.." Just as she was about to walk again the pain hit her. Shannon put her hands on her stomach and leaned against a tree. "Boone, go get Jack..Go!" She yelled.

Boone's eyes widdened. Gosh, the baby was coming. He turned around and began to run down the path yelling Jack's name loudly as he ran.

Jack could hear a voice calling him in the distance. He stopped walking with the group and turned around. He couldn't risk having the "others" find them now, so he looked at the group.
"I'll be back," he mouthed.
Jack took off running through the jungle, calling back to whoever was calling him. A long way down the path he collided head on with Boone.
"What is it?" Jack asked.

"The baby..Shannon is having the baby!" he said, in a rush to get back to her. "Come fast!" Boone pulled on Jack's arm and led him to where Shannon was.

Jack was being tugged along behind Boone mercilessly. He ran with the other man, hoping and praying to God that everything would work out well for Shannon. He ran with Boone for what seemed like an hour, breathing raggedly.

Shannon sat down on the ground, the pain being to much for her to stand. She wasnt ready for all of this to happen. She just wasnt ready. She rubbed her dtomach affectionatly as she muffled a scream.

Boone kneeled down by Shannon's side and looked up to Jack. He just hoped everything would be alright..

Jack knelt down beside Shannon, putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Shannon, are you having contractions?" He asked.
He looked at the terrified Boone beside her and hoped for their sake that he could pull this off.

Shannon was able to catch her breath. "I-I dont know. I Guess.." She said through strangled tears. She just wasnt ready to be a mom. To have to actually take care of someone else.

Boone tried to relax. He put his shaking hand on Shannon's shoulder and gave it a light squeeze, hoping that she wouldn't push him away.
