Raine stumbled up to the gate. Her hair was a mess from not brushing it thoroughly that morning. She woke up late, as usual. Already age 15, she only stood 5'3'' and a half but had a womanly figure. She had a light sundress on the color of twilight, and white slevelets with trim the same color as the dress. The ribbon lightly tied around her thin neck also was a deep blue. Worn flip-flops clapped against her feet as she made her way up to the gate. Not watching, she tripped and one of her shoes flew off. After looking for about thirty seconds her attention shifted to the lady at the gate. Realizing she was a cyborg her ears reared back. Raine came from a small town and had only seen normal people. (except for herself, of course)

"Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID"

The sudden speech made Raine jump and she shoved the crumpled letter into the woman's hand. Upon recieving her card she proceded onto the grounds and her scarlet eyes glowed with childish amazement.


She let her auburn hair drop from it's ponytail and said enthusiastically: "Awright! Now my dorm is...." and wanders away slowly in what could quite possibly be in the wrong direction.

A sleek black car pulled up in front of the gates. A middle-aged man stepped out of the front door and turned. The back door opened before he could reach fot it, as he seemed to have been doing.

The girl who stepped out could have been a model if she'd ever felt like taking up the profession. Tall, with pale skin, silky black hair that fell to her tailbone and shone blue in the sunlight, and peircing green eyes shaded by long lashes. She wore a sleeveless black top and slightly faded blue jeans with a black leather belt. On her feet were blue and white tennis shoes, and every so often a flash of her cat-covered socks could be seen. Around her neck was a large purple pouch with a mesh 'window' in the front, and in her hands was a birdcage that at the moment seemed empty. She looked up at the man with a smile on her lips and a hint of sadness in her eyes. "You know I don't like people doing that for me."

He nodded mutely. "I'll get your bags." She didn't respond, so he went around to the back of the car.

Valtine Zhi Tiona looked at the iron gates, then past them to the people who were milling around behind them. She didn't turn as the large brown suitcase was put on the ground beside her, nor when the car started and pulled away. Zhi didn't want to look.

She waited until the sound of the engine was almost gone, then picked up her suitcase and went forward. An android swung around to greet her.

"Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID"

Zhi nodded, putting down the suitcase and fishing the letter out of her pockets, handed it to the droid. A moment to process it, then the robot handed her an ID card and a bundle of papers. Zhi took them and walked on, continuing to survey the area beyond the gate. She didn't feel any of the usual first-day jitters other people would have been feeling. She'd gotten over that at least six schools before. Instead, she just wondered if she'd make any friends here. At least she'd fit in a little, in this place.

A tiny bit of movement in the pouch caught her attention. She reached in with two fingers to gently pet the tiny creature inside. chirruped at her and climbed out, over her arm, and onto her shoulder.

Elysia frowned as she approached the school gates, still not sure how she had ended up here without any of her friends from her last high school. She sighed and watched the people that walked by her and on into the school. Elle bent over and grabbed her bag off the ground, getting ready to enter.

"Welcome to Ria High School please show me your acceptance letter so I may give you your student ID."

Elle jumped and turned to face the person/android that had started her. She stared at Lillith for a few seconds before she registered what she had said.

"Oh, right...it's in here somewhere..." she muttered as she dug through her bag. She looked around for a few minutes, starting to get worried before she found it buried in the bottom. "Of course, everything always floats to the bottom," she said, grinning as she handed over both her letter and ID. She waited while the android verified everything and presented her with a map of the school.

"Thanks!" she called over her shoulder as she entered the gates, trying to make since of the map and where she was going.

Kuro landed at the front gates.He was dressed nicely in an outfit Kira would normally be seen in.He was dressed in a pair of grey slacks, a white button up with a ribbon-tie that was in a limp bow, and a grey jacket over the button up."Hey...I see we both thought the same thing..."He said with a smile.His wings folded behind him slowly.

"Yeah...But first let's go to a nice cafe I found at Forestlake..."Kuro said holding out his hand for her.He placed a light kiss on her cheek while he reached his hand out."Unless you'd rather just go to the club."He said.

"Alright then...Lets go..."Kuro said and started walking out the gate with her.This should be fun...He thought."Remember...I'll pay for whatever you want to eat...And maybe more..."He said.

"Yeah...After all...It's the tradition of dating that a guy treats..."Kuro said simply smiling."So...What do you normally prefer?"He asked curiously.I wonder if she eats steak like me when given the chance...He thought.

Since Heero had been sitting in front of his door for a long time, he had fallen asleep. "ZzzzzZzzzzZzzz." Heero was snoring loud, but he was snoring none the less. When the nose bubble popped, Heero woke up suddenly. "Who, what, when, where, why and sometimes how!!" Heero looked around and saw no one. "Still alone I see." Heero sighed and stood up.

He then began walking until he was outside of the dorm building. "Okay, it's time to explore." Heero then began walking around.
