Miyuki scratched her cheek thoughtfully, she was older than Andarien and therefore had been training longer, however she lacked the actual experience that her parents had.

Running from crazy dragons didn't count.

"I've had training," Miyuki murmured, "But I've never fought outside of a spar. I mainly use the staff, and am a beginner at battle fans. I know some seals and spells, but again never used them outside of experimenting and they're not really meant for out right attacking."

In other words she couldn't throw icicles or anything, but she could bind the non-average elf (the dragon incident taught her a few things) and she could confuse her attackers (she really did love illusions), but they were relatively harmless things to do.

Listening to Miyuki made Lin realize how much her daughter had thought about her own skills. It also made Lin kind of curious because it was obvious Miyuki had thought about using magic on the field, however since magic was out of Lin's depth she didn't know half of what Miyuki had been up to since they got here.

"I can fight," Lin added after Miyuki was done, "and I've had experience on the field, so has Earendil."

Though she said this thoughtfully and without any outward reaction to what she was saying, inside Lin was kind of grimacing at her own experiences. As they mainly consisted of either attacking or being attacked by humans.

Miyuki tilted her head and wondered if that tone of voice was because Lancaeriel couldn't give Kyrie a straight answer. After all, asking Lancaeriel what she could do in a fight was very difficult. There was no telling what the "older" elven woman was capable of doing, not with all that experience at her finger tips.

Lin looked thoughtful at that, "Aside from clothing and supplies, the other traveling necessities I believe we do have. Since we were kind of aware this would be a long trip..."

However, she knew there were plans being made for the tents.

"We'll need new tents, something small and easy to put up and take down," Miyuki replied, "I've been talking to Jess about that. We don't need big tents because they'll be runed to be an entrance to a sort of pocket dimension, in the same manner mom's family uses for bags... kind of. It's... kind of more complicated than that... the long short of it is we don't need large tents."

There was a bit of thought to that question. However, many of the them (namely Lin, Earendil and Shiro) had done a lot of research and asked around. While they didn't know everything that was out there, they had a rough idea.

"At the moment, I don't, but probably closer to when we arrive at certain locations," Lin murmured thoughtfully.

It was in the middle of the day when Ai finally gave birth. The odd sounds coming from under the bed alerted Miyuki that something was different. Not quite sure what to do since most people had been telling her that Ai would know what to do, Miyuki peered under the bed to see how Ai was doing.

And while debating whether or not she should get someone.

Ai for the most part seemed really calm... and she was purring, which was weird because Miyuki didn't even know Ai could purr. Though Ai did seem more feline like than Eon, even though they both came from the same evolution.

"Uhm...." Miyuki had to think about that.

Mainly because she wasn't sure if she wanted to leave the bedside.

"Not really? Kind of? Ai's giving birth under the bed!" she called back.

She was sure she could see something coming out and it looked kind of slimy. Having never seen a live birth before it was both interesting and kind of gross.

"Maybe something to clean up all the... slime stuff afterwards, whatever that is," Miyuki called back.

Maybe she should have asked more what it was like for Pokemon to give birth, because she didn't think there would be... other stuff. Then again, she realized that maybe she should have expected that.
