Siobhan giggled, deciding she would give Remi a big hug to the side as well. "Am I glittering?" She asked curiously. Maybe it was ethereal glow making fancy eye tricks. She grinned anyway. "My hair. Yes, I do trip over it quite a bit when it is down. I put it up especially for tonight! To be honest, it is sheer luck I have not fallen on my face yet!" She laughed loudly at herself, rubbing her neck. "It is also very heavy. Keeping it intangible would be arduous."

Well, this was nicer than expected, though Riyo couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious as she stepped onto the dance floor with Mot. She was going to suck at this, wasn't she?
"The... Jive?" Obviously not. The feline nervously shook her head. The grin made it worse. Oh Jack. What was he going to do? She didn't like the sound of this.
Even if she wasn't sure, the ghoul tried to follow Mot's beginning movements. "s**t, this is a lot faster than I'm used to." Oh, there was one misstep. Poor Mot's feet. Hopefully he wouldn't end up with a heel through his shoes.
But... It started to get interesting. Maybe.. Fun, even. Her hair swished and swayed this way and that, her dress curled around her legs and poofed out as she moved. Heels clicked and clacked on the floor under her. Okay. Maybe this... Wasn't that stupid.

"Nah, you just are that amazing." Leaning down, he pecked the ghoul lightly on her forehead. Remi always was a bit of a flirt. Though before he could even continue the conversation, something akin to his 'spidey senses' was tingling. Looking around the fox found a pair of eyes staring at him, if even for a moment. He KNEW that face. It was the face of someone he had not seen in moons. "Hold on babe, i see something i need to take care of..." Letting her go he weaved through the crowds, a blue speck in the sea of colors. It took a moment to reach where the eyes first caught his attention, but he was determined until finally Remi was looking down at a all too familiar face. Literally looking down, Pachua was a shrrriimmmpp. "Why hello there featherbutt, long time no see." A moment later Pachua would find himself thourally 'glitter bombed', and hauled over back towards Siobhan by his wrist. "WELL look at what i found!" He grinned at them both. "An old friend of mind whom would just LOVE to dance with you." And with that Remi nudged the feathered serpent towards the ghoul, over his shoulder giving the ghoul a 'please' look in his eyes.

"No..I'll be f-fine, Thankyou for asking Junko..." Astra replied sullenly, continuing to wipe the froth off herself and her dress. She was half hoping that the foam would dry and her dress would look..semi decent. But then, she was fully soaked, and the foam might leave stains.. Sighing, she tried her best to get the remaining froth off.

Riyo was hesitant at first, and even jabbed his toes with a heel once or twice, but he pressed on and was rewarded. Because Riyo? Looked like she was having fun. If only a little. Mot grinned proudly, keeping up the pace and leading Riyo along to the fast paced music. "Not so bad, right?" He asked with a laugh. "It sure beats watching everyone dance all night." Not that socializing wasn't fun. Mot just could not imagine not dancing on a night like this. "This is fun. You're pretty good." Whether he meant it or was humoring her was not clear. But he was indeed enjoying himself. Dancing! *A*

“You… b*****d, glitter?!? By the altars I knew I should have shed a skin when I saw you coming!!” Snarled the cranky, and now glittery snake. “I can’t believe you DID that you, you, I ought to… ought to…OH you are SO lucky we’re on school grounds!!” He bellowed as he was hauled away to parts ‘unknown.’ “Err…” he silenced as he blinked in surprise that he was being requested to dance with someone, someone he didn’t know. “I uh..” He flustered and his fathers rattled in some anxiety. ‘I uh… I ‘m not sure how well I dance Remi.” He said glancing and half scowling at Remi both with irritation and concern, and then at the young woman who’s name he did not yet know.

When Mitsu had been grabbed and toted away by Freya with Shun she wasn't sure what to think. True she was happy to see the ghoul but she wasn't quite ready for the dance floor just yet. Not to mention she was still awkwardly holding her cup of punch doing her best not to spill it. Somewhere along their journey Shun had been left behind and Mitsu was alone with Freya... among the dancing masses. At first she stared around a little wide eyed. In truth, she had wanted to dance with Shun first but it was a little late to hope for that now. For a moment she frantically searched for her date only to see a glimpse of him with Hel...dancing. Well, it seemed Shun had decided to dance so...Mitsu supposed she could do the same though being caught off guard and a little unsure what they were doing her movements were awkward at best. ((I'm late to the gif party so sue me))

"You are a lovely dancer, Muka." Needle giggled as she neared him, practically drawn to the glowing inks his clothing was dyed in. It looked like so much fun in fact, that she tried to mimic him, grinning the entire time.
"Have you eaten yet? I am sorry for pulling you away from it last time~" She really was! He was so nice to her, and she was practically denying him food! When he was constantly hungry! What a Monster she was. "Put a ribbon around it for a necklace and anything can be a medal." Mac laughed at the idea of a fuzzball on a necklace...but probably because in his mental image it had #1 painted on it in crude, store-bought paint.
"Good choice!" The Reaper's fingers closed around hers, drawing her backwards with him to the dance floor. Her question made him briefly pause though, before he started laughing again. "'Mar, what don't I know about spinning?" Once he had the ghoul on the dance floor he demonstrated a little spin before bringing her back in. "This song's a little too fast for ballroom spinning though, but I'm sure I could scrounge somethin up for ya~" He hummed, settling right in to the pace of the song, pulling and turning her this way and that as he and the beat saw fit. "Depends on how much you trust me though." And how much trust Lizzy would put in him with other ghouls right now, really.

Heidla wondered whether the Famine kin - and there were three of them now around - are really going to take the machine down to study how it works. Well, she was able to admire their diligence and doggedness in learning, but that would be a bit going too far. Though, she was guilty herself - when faces with some of the more curious representatives of the Halloween dwellers she was tempted to literally dismember them to see how their fear works. Well, there are methods some priestesses use in their practices that are probably not to be announced. Or not to be allowed, but that is not a matter to discuss at a ball. She smiled distractedly when the alchemist girl mentioned something about different circumstances. Oh yeah, the forest creatures are not going to attack the Amityville Academy prom. Supposedly, that is. Unfortunately, there are creatures worse than sacred grass cows. She shuddered at the thought of it, and closed her eyes. She needed a distraction, quickly, a distraction to snap out of the mood. Shouldn't they start a discussion, aren't the Famine horsemen good at chatting? The privilege and the inconvenience of being a priestess was that Heidla was not used to talking. "Can you mix me another drink?" she turned to Fai.

Remi kissed her forehead. Kissed. Her forehead. "Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~"Siobhan lit up like a lightbulb little kid at Christmastival. She just stood there, grinning a stupid grin as he left her to glitter grab his friend. She seemed to only somewhat snap out of it as he introduced a new friend. The banshee looked at the boil and waved happily. "Hiiiiiii~" She giggled. Wait.. dance?! "OH! Does he wish to see my moves as well? Shall we cut a rug, friend of Remi? I am Siobhan!" The banshee took his hand and then curtsey'd politely.

"PA-CHU-A~" Suddenly burst out, a chorus over the music that was constantly streaming through the dance hall. It almost felt it had come out of no where, before a small package of green and red glitter hit him, only to mix with the glorious colouration already on the feathered one's clothing.
Following him, Jack just about picked up his little friend, squishing him happily against the cat-boil's dress, before putting him down again. "Where the hell have you been bro?" He called out to him again, leaning down and rubbing his cheek against the boil's hair before standing up again, curtseying to the lass that his bro and friend had been talking to, fluffing his black dress out. "Evening!"
Turning to Remi, he pointed a glitter-stained hand. "You owe me a dance, Bro!"

Mot's assumptions were right. Riyo was having fun. And for the first time in a long time, she even looked the part. a smile cracked on the usually stoic face, and even developed into something...
Joyful.
"I guess not." Her words didn't do well to hide her true feelings this time. I guess not really translated into 'No Mot, this s**t is the bees knees.' Maybe this was what she needed all along. Instead of having to be the one who had to spin the ghoul, she was the one being spinned. Instead of getting stuck going through the motions, she was following someone else's.
It didn't really matter if Mot's words were sincere. He didn't have to say anything at all. The only thing that mattered was the rhythm of the feet and the wispy movements of their clothing as the music practically screamed for more.
She even laughed a little.
Buried underneath all the loathing and fear, Riyo was a ghoul after all.

Titus had been off in the background standing like he was the coolest thing since candy corn. Mostly because he was still de-thawing from Riyo's cold shoulder technique. It had been super effective. So for the time the boil was pretending to not be bothered by it or that fact that the Valkyrie had bested him. Outside he was cool as a cucumber inside he was brewing up a storm.
Eyes had darted from student to student though none really caught his interest. For a time he was certain he kept hearing someone use the nickname Shun had given him but couldn't find the source. How irritating.
Finally when the boil was done pouting he began to move back out to the dance floor to find his 'date' only to find her occupied with the cowboy reaper. It was rather odd though how Hel had come in by herself (now that he realized it was Hel) and her and Mot hadn't spent a lot of time together outside of an awkward dance.
Tapping the riding crop to his chin thoughtfully the demon merged back into the crowd ready to confront a certain grounded Valkyrie once again.

"Get your panties out of a twist snake-man and have a little fun!" This coming from the blue haired boil wearing the dress, tonight was ALL about fun to him! Ear twisting in the general direction of a certain someones arrival, he saw the flash of glitter as well a moment later and gave a good natured laugh at the look on Pachuas face. "Siobhan this is Pachua, as my partner in crime has announced." He tossed a grin over his shoulder at the cat-king. The boil always DID know how to make an entrance. "HMM looks like we will need to solve this dilemma, and double up then." He said twirling around and grabbing at Jack shamelessly, quirking an eyebrow. "Who leads?" Oh his should be a ball.

Amphi tugged on Danny's dress, smiling.
"It's been good so far! There's a boil around that Danny should watch out for though. He's a vampire...um his name is Lou. He's....a flirter so beware." Amphi tried to point the boil out but like Thana, he disappeared in the sea of Creatures, somewhere....around. Probably creeping.
She blanched as Roch started to step away, reaching out to grab his jacket and give him a blunt. "No." And then flushed. The only reason she hid was because of feelings that she didn't understand.
"I want to dance with Roch when there is a good song." She nodded, "Please don't leave."
