I want to, but I'm going to wait until I get at least the Photoshop and the Graphics Tablet before doing anything more to him. It'll be easier that way. I hate using a mouse for any sort of drawing on PS >.<
And thanks sweatdrop I wasn't all too confident in it...

Azaurmyth Meh, I'm going into digital art, and I'm working to get the proper equipment for it, so I won't so much need those. But I can take pics, so it's no big deal. sweatdrop Mind you, he isn't finished, I haven't inked or fixed up or anything and there's no background >.< This is just a sketch...You can click it to see the full sized pic too... sweatdrop 
I love your sketch! Oh... The day when I can draw people like that! And guys too! Grrr... Girls I'm so so at, but guys... NO WAY! I haven't practiced lately though. I think I should. I've been wanting to watch tutorials on how to draw and I've looked up a site about it so that I can get a better idea. I do flowers great, but people are hard. The way his hands look are amazing! So graceful. And his proportion is great too. Thank you for putting that up. Do you have other drawings that I could look at? And do you have any tips on drawing that you could share with me?

sweatdrop Uhh, my secret is actually a lot of How-to books, people watching, and practice. Basically looking at how other people draw, and putting my own spin on it. Then seeing the way muscles move and the way the people interact with the people around them. Then just draw all the time. It took me since I could pick up a pencil to get this good. And that was the first time I've been able to do hands quite like his. Oh, and lots of pictures. I tend to take poses I like from pictures, and I just draw my own figure around it. Sometimes I elongate the limbs, like I did in the one I posted, and the arms are completely different from the pose I took from. This was more of a study than it was an actual drawing stressed
I suppose I could set up something like tutorials if you'd like, going step by step focusing on body parts, girls and guys and stuff. As for other drawings, I'm working on another one right now. There are a couple of things I want to fix before putting it up though, and he needs his face and hair on >.<

stressed Ugh! You can say that again. But it'll be well worth the wait.
And don't compare yourself to me >.< I don't like it, plus it limits what you can do. It's unfair for any one to compare themselves to any one better than them. I've been actively working on it for a very long time. It would be like me comparing myself to a professional ballerina; I haven't been working as long as she has, so I would limit myself because of the comparison >.<
Sorry /rant I just think it's unfair to you

If you have the time to do tutorial type stuff that's fine. I do much the same as you in regards to looking at other pieces of work and getting an idea of how to draw it. Most people have their own style naturally after that from what I've seen. And I'm sure over time I will get better too. smile I find myself looking at my own hands and expressions a lot to get a better idea too. So let me know when and if you want to do something like that. biggrin Thanks. wink

just as some constructive criticism, i think u could center his hips a bit more and add some more muscle to his arms. i mean male ballerinas r supposed to be toned up to the max, right?

I took all of that into account already. I wanted to make him look as if he were moving, therefore, he would be a little off balance with the intention of movement. And not all male ballet dancers are toned "to the max" Some are actually very lean. Lenwe is also an elf, so I wanted to give him a graceful, and very lean, body structure. Feminine, a little, yes, but it's who he is, and how he's always been.
I do thank you for the criticism though.

well at least u take it better than my mom does. i guess what i was trying to say was that i thought his thigh should be a bit forward, other wise it looks skinnier than the other. i can't draw to save my life, but i do have an eye for photography.

Hehe, okies. x3 -hugs- I compare myself to lots of people that are better than me. >.> Usually it makes me want to better myself so that I can reach or surpass their level, though art is not something I can see myself ding as more than a hobby and even then not very often, I really enjoyed it when I was little though. :3

O.o Foward how? The front leg, or the back leg? Cause both of his thighs are supposed to look fairly skinny...
Also keep in mind that it's not quite finished either sweatdrop >.< I understand where you're coming from there. I used to do it a lot too. But my ballet teacher brought up the limiting point my first semester in class, and I thought OMG so that's why I haven't reached my potential. Not saying that you haven't, but it was freeing for me.
Edit: Oh, and could I arrange something with you? My newest pet is a half-Selkie, half-merman, and I wanted to arrange his "skin" being with Ambrosia, being given to her by his former Mistress. I wouldn't mind doing the tutorials~ heart I might set up a thread in ... I dunno, somewheres. What would you like to focus on?
Oh, and would you be okay with pic showing step by step...I'm not great at videos, nor explaining myself whilst I'm doing it >.<

um right, i meant the one behind. I just thought that where most of what a ballerina does is with their legs, his legs would be more lean and muscular. just thinking on how the picture could be more realistic, but not lose the image that want to portray.

Oh, I see. Yeah, that was part of the movement thing too. Steps rather than the "fluttering" that most Ballerinas do. Male dancers are usually choreographed to take more walking-type steps. Kind of like showing off how strong and manly they are.
