Bad enough that the b***h with the cokebottle glasses was apparently high enough to ignore everything thrown at her, at the range they'd been at it seemed impossible that she hadn't been hit by something, but the creepy, splotchy, walking beatnik blemish had given her the space equivalent of the creeping cruds.
She felt miserable from fever, and the urge to hack up a lung made her wish she had a container of Vick's, but that didn't change the face that there was an impossible number of bad guys, and a huge monster that, infuriatingly, refused to stay dead.
Although her initial burst of adrenaline was wearing thin, there was still too much to do to lie down and feel sorry for herself. People had died. She'd watched them, and she hadn't been able to do anything, it had been like trying to pick up water in a sieve... she just couldn't give up now, even with the shadow tentacles snapping at her like whips, and the crazy girl walking away with all her teeth miraculously intact.
Even if it was impossible they had to fight, they HAD to protect people, if for no other reason that once they were done here it would move on to who knew what else. Her family maybe, her home, her school, her friends... and from there... where else would it turn gray and lifeless?

Thisbe hadn't actually heard the male senshi's call to draw back. It was a wise decision; one she would have agreed on had she not been so intent on running away from the b*****d of a punk that had been intent on trying to stomp her into the ground. There was a slight limp to her stride and her shoulder was still burning with pain. She was likely to believe it was dislocated; if not completely than at least close to.
She noticed the vines, though, and the least she could do was try and help him with them. "I think a 'retreat' needs to be called louder. No one's going to hear you over that damn thing... And they just keep pressing closer." Underlying was the worry that they, do, like the civilians, were going to die here in the Surrounding tonight.
"Where did the Zodiacs go anyways?"

Captain Osumilite had been stayed back, watching the fight play out before him with a grin upon his face, the smug b*****d he was. It wasn't until he spotted Avalon in the mix that he decided to leap in and get his hands dirty himself. He had been waiting to see that woman again - the one with the nasty habit of throwing an apple. Who throws an apple, honestly?
She was in the middle of combat with Sailor Hel, but that didn't deter him. He wanted to see the girl go down, and certainly she would be no match for both a corrupt Sailor Senshi and a Negaverse Captain.
"Hey there, beautiful," he said to Avalon. "Miss me?"Troy Page of Chronos had finally found his Princess Chronos in all of the combat mess and stood by her proudly. She was safe under Virgo's magic, sure, but with him by her side he could try to ensure a little more safety. Of course, he was only a Page and there were many Negaverse agents swarming around - who had plenty more experience than he did. He had been in a bar fight or two or three or a dozen, but even those fights wouldn't be enough preparation for this type of combat. Could it?Super Sailor Requiem emerged out of a mirror onto the battlefield, eyeing the new recruit to the Dark Mirror Court, Sailor Remarque in combat with a Zodiac Knight, Celsus.
"Very nice, Remarque," Requiem said, proud of the new recruit. "But perhaps you could use a hand?"
Requiem then charged into the combat, throwing a fist out to the Zodiac Knight.

Thule let go of the senshi's hair as a punch headed towards her face. "No." She jumped up and stepped back from her. Thule looked down at the senshi and shook her head. "You are confused and misguided. You weren't here when I got here and so I won't..." She left the sentence hanging. She flung a kick towards the senshi, then turned to find someone else. Someone she could take her wrath out on. Yes the senshi she was fighting was one of them but she hadn't been here before and she had seemed to accept they were at fault. She would mention her to Leto later, maybe the other senshi would know how to save her. For now she had others to find - the ones who caused the death of everyone else.

In the background, on the edge of the battlefield was a cat girl. Cora was staring at the battlefield with utter horror in her eyes. They had beated the great beast already but it had come back. And it would come again. Until they would be dead and the Surrounding would be destroyed.
There was no hope left.
Tears flooded away from her pink eyes as she stared the chaotic battle. She was loosing control of herself, shaking her head and fearing her feet to betray her in any moment.
"This is too terrible. This is too terrible," she whined before wrapping her arms around her and bowing a little bit forward.
"I don't want this.... I don't want this at all!"
"Please, GO AWAY!!!"
For the edge of the battlefield, from there where she was standing a beam of light erupted, coming from her forehead star and shot right towards the Great Youma.
The cat girl wobbled couple steps backwards exhausted and hoping to dodge vines that were coming towards her. Eventually, vines catched her and made her trip down.
She was breathing heavily on the ground and crying an uncontrollable cry.
Cora made magnicicant 4 points of damage! XD

The victory-high of avoiding the vines was tainted by dejection as Sailor Nyx watched her fellow soldiers taken down around her. Though a setback was sure, at least they did seem to have the assault under control. Among those that remained free, however, was a very familiar face not but about 20 feet away now. She hadn't seen the girl since they were all unceremoniously dumped in the Chronos Castle.
"Pasiphae!" She ran towards the shame senshi, hoping they could stick together a little longer this time.

"What? ... It's a bit hard to yell over that thing." He looked at the girl who was helping him bat the vines off him as they both tried to get away from the onslaught.
"I don't know. They're probably protecting Chronos." That would be the intelligent thing to do for them. Not that he was sure any of them were going to benefit from the protection anyway. "I don't know how we could yell louder without a megaphone." And he was going to hope there wasn't a senshi of cheerleading or something like that.
Shaking his head he grabbed one of the vines and yanked it away from him. "Okay ... yelling .... REGROUP WITH THE ZODIACS! WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER!" He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled as loud as he could. Hopefully some of the senshi around would hear him and, even better, listen.

Remarque did not like to miss. And did not like that the vine had made him miss. And that this damned page was still talking. Remarque held up his arm to block the kick—which might have worked better if it was an arm and not a leg, but that wasn’t going to stop him from trying.
Head blows were absolutely the worst, in Remarque’s opinion, because they not only hurt on impact, but they left you with a headache and disoriented—side effects that he did not want. Side effects that he would, in fact, love for this page to have.
Even as the page’s leg collided with the arm he was holding up to block, Remarque was swinging his other hand, still curled in a fist, towards the page’s temple; he was smirking again when Requiem showed up. Her presence only reassured him that this was going to be an absolute piece of cake.

When you possessed somebody, it wasn't that you wanted to like, completely take over them. Nah, Hawke had just been wanting fight and keep fighting. Besides, the girl wasn't using her own body. It was a perfect good waste of kickasssibitly. So Hawke had hijacked. Of course, then realize 'oh sweet baby jesus I am stuck'. Maybe it wouldn't last very long. Maybe it would. It did beat being dead though.
Running to join the fray, it was kinda like the few things she needed to know she just- knew. She was Cancer now. And not the mutated kind. The kick a** magical girl kind and it was just what she's come back from the dead to do.
Kick some a**. "COME AT ME BRO!"

If Gunn thought she was scaring Fluorite, well, she was dead wrong.
Sure, she was burned in places she hadn't even known existed, probably - her arms were covered in burns and blisters - the worse, perhaps ironically, having come for the senshi of metalcraft's liquid steel.
But the power pulsing in her veins, the fire, the fire that burned through her more strongly and passionally than Gunn's ever would, called for more. More blood. More death.
Yes, my queen.
Fluorite launched herself at Gunn, aiming for a disabling blow at her midsection.

She was clawing, writhing desperately at the vines that entangled her, when a blade sliced through the vines holding her ankle and a hand descended on her shoulder, pinning her down. She glanced up, to see a familiar- different- face. " Wolframite." she breathed his name, staring into the blackness that had once been covered by an eyepatch. His debt was repaid? She nodded briefly, trying to pull sway from his strong hand on her shoulder. She didn't like it there. She felt distinctly unsafe, with little to no leverage, and she gathered her energy to try and break free. Leto's voice startled her, and she could feel the panic rise in her chest like a butterfly. It was too much for her to handle. She might get one, but she would never get away before the other was on her. Hurting her. Or just killing her. "My answer hasn't changed since you asked me last, Leto." She tried, but there was a quaver in her voice that said she knew exactly what position she was in at the moment. Not a good one. "Your concern is touching, Wolframite, and I thank you, but... No." She lashed out, and tried to pull away, Tried to run. Chances weren't good she would get far. ((Attack #5: 24))

Zinkenite turned curious at the screams, at what had distracted his General, his friend. Scylla of the Dark moon Court. "We haven't met yet, have we." He said turning aside from his self appointed task. "Eternal Senshi of Kraken, isn't it?" He murmured. "if you're interested in the General's offer, I assure you that we can make good on it."

Celsus ducked, managing to half dodge Remarque's blow; it glanced off the side of his head, leaving behind what would probably be a rather nasty bruise.
A new voice caught his attention, however - as did the fist that swung towards him, which he noticed just in the nick of time. Celsus caught Requiem's fist just before it hit his side, her hand smacking hard into his injured palm. It made him flinch horribly, but he grinned up at her anyway, a bead of sweat sliding down his face.
"Two on one?" he said, in a slightly pouting tone as he brought his knee up to slam it against Requiem's chest. "Now, that's just not very nice now, is it?"
