She knew the boil she'd came with was capable of fighting even though she hadn't fought him fully herself. Arm wrestling had shown a strength in determination but not in a full workout of his potential. Levi wondered if Holly had fought this boil she came with yet. O 'yea? Worth a good round 'er two, eh? Ya seen 'im in action?...
...er had a go at 'im? Haven't whopped yet Jericho maself, but boil got a good wrestlin' arm on 'im. Won on 'a fourth try... She smirked at Holly when she said this, noting the fourth part in particular. The circumstances weren't important right now, only the fact that he had three previous attempts which led him to losses against her.
I'd understand 'em only know tha best way ta ring 'em up in hog-tie 'em down. She nodded in understanding to where Holly was coming from, chuckling.

"Hmm.. yeah, that actually is a good idea," she replied with a nod. Colette looked at the bouquet and corsage in each of her hands before taking Petro's kind escort to the table. She wouldn't be able to do much if she held the flowers the whole time.
After watching Tset set down her bouquet, Colette did the same and noticed the ghoul was actually wearing her corsage. So that's what you do with it? She started to fiddle with the thing until refreshments were mentioned. "Really? Thanks, that would be great. Uh, anything is fine," she said. Truthfully, anything wasn't fine. She really didn't want to end up accidentally drinking swamp water. "I mean.. just get whatever looks best." It was hard to be her usually picky self when someone else was nice enough to get the food for her. She actually didn't want to either. Colette imagined it would appear quite rude.
Getting back to her corsage, the Grim Reaper squinted at it and started to stick her finger into the band when she heard it. Dancing. Petro wanted to dance? Already?! She expected it eventually what with all the dancing that was already going on, but it was something she dreaded and didn't even want to think about. Colette didn't want to relive what happened last time she tried to dance with someone. "I-I um..." She eyed the dance floor nervously. Was she really about to tell her dates how she ended up stepping on poor Calder at the Scarentine's dance and took him to the ground? As if. She wouldn't be surprised if they happened to have seen it for themselves. "I just don't really know how to dance and stuff," she told them as she sat down in one of the table's chairs.

Junko tried to catch the hand that was moving away from her, not wanting him to let go of her and end their dance. Hey! No! She wanted to keep dancing! She almost pouted until he touched her face, stumbling again and tightening her hold on his shoulder. Her breath caught as he kissed her neck, leaving her in a breathless laugh when she finally remembered how to breathe. Her hair curled itself up around her head out of the way of her neck, and she thread her fingers through his own hair until he took her hand back.
She wouldn't have even realized they were moving again if not for her feet trying to keep up with Seiji's, trying desperately not to step on them; she might have nudged one a little too much but other than that she tried to keep her feet to herself. It wasn't until they stopped completely that she realized they'd even still be dancing. Wait, where were they? The lights were weird. There was music. And something was swirling around their feet.
Oh, right. Prom. Junko stood still as he continued to quietly sing to her, gaze drifting down to his lips and she bit down on her lip. She couldn't breathe, her heart felt like it was being squeezed, and her stomach was doing flips. Junko didn't fight it as she was lifted, putting her hands on Seiji's shoulders to keep herself up. Her breath left her in a shaky laugh as she was spun in the air with him, clinging to him as he set her down and kissed her. Her eyes widened for a moment until she leaned in to return the kiss, her arms wrapping around his neck and her eyes fluttering closed. She held the kiss, not wanting it to end. And she succeeded..until she was reminded she needed to breathe!
Junko regretfully ended the kiss with a small gasp, eyes opening again and looking up at Seiji with a soft smile. "Thank you~." She murmured quietly to him, brushing her lips against his with a happy little sigh. What was she thanking him for? Well...the dance, the singing, the treatment...basically everything.

"Your... welcome," Joachim replied holding his plate with one hand as he tried to figure out what to do with the cup in his hand and a plate in the other. Giving a shrug of his shoulder he decided it was better to hold the cup on his plate and hope not to spell it over as he added things to it. Joachim stared a bit at the food before picking up little bits of things that he was sure he could recognize as something he would typically eat. He wasn't a fan of trying something new especially if he wasn't sure what was in it. The only thing he could think of is what would happen if he tried something that tasted disgusting and he barfed it back up all over the table or even worse his date. No it was better to just get a few things he knew and some sweets to keep Merel satisfied with his current lack of dancing.
When they reached the end she seemed to be scouting out a table, most of them seemed full but there was one with just a few cups left near the wall. He pointed towards it as he started to make his way over to it as if making a poor attempt in leading her, "oh... I hope you don't mind her, she is Merel. I'm sorry..... she can cause lot of racket and can be.... a bit demanding. Please........." He paused as he fought the urge to blush as he tried to look at her, "er.. don't let her ruin your night."

There was that hopeful look once more in Mitsu's eyes and it had Shun wondering what he would do exactly. He watched her for a moment or so before nodding to her. A hint of nervousness had returned to her, which had him wondering what the deal was.
He didn't think about it too hard and just remained where he was in the meantime.
----
Chuckling quietly, Jericho righted himself after stumbling a bit.
"You and I both my friend," he grinned, "It's definitely not a bad thing though I think."
This was actually very nice, he found. Neither of them were flailing (too much). Even the spin that he just did wasn't too wonky. That aside, he could feel her elation and most likely she could get a sense of his own as they owned the dance floor.
It was almost like flying right now. And that was always amazing in its own right.

She pulled away from the kiss first, and boil blinked at her, brows lowering as he frowned. No, not yet. He didn't want to stop. With a soft grunt of protest the boil brought his hands up to cup the ghoul's cheeks, drawing her back to him while completely disregarding the gratitude. She didn't have to thank him for dancing, for singing, for loving her. Was she daft? If anything he should be thanking her for being so completely right for him.
While his clawed hand remained carefully still against her face, the other slide to brush his thumb along her cheek and down the line of her jaw until he'd curled a finger beneath her chin. Tilting her head so he could deepen the kiss. No, he was not going to make out with her on the dance floor, but he did want just a little bit more then the innocent press of lips they'd shared. A little something extra, a spark, that wonderful little electric shock that made his dead heart beat. Just for her.

Holly had to think on that. Well he was a wrath demon, so he should have been strong or something. He was always angry so it would suck if he wasn't. "Probably. Haven't gotten to fight him, yet." Most likely true. "Although, I have fought with him, one of those darn field trips. So yeah, think he'd be a good fight." Though the idea of fighting him at the moment wasn't at the top of her list. Especially if she was wearing a dress.
She nodded again. "Jericho does look kind of strong. Never arm wrestled myself though, don't know how good a comparison that would be." Holly chuckled at the hog-tie expression. And coming from Levi, she wouldn't doubt that the ghoul would actually hogtie them! That'd be an interesting thing to see.

Mot made a thoughtful, drawn out hum as he thought about what he could possibly come up with. The worst thing? "I don't know. Clean my room for a week?" He grinned and laughed. "Never mind. I was bluffing when i said I was dangerous." He admitted sheepishly.

Eris's quiet self assurance and confidence were only befitting of her station, both qualities that Altair delighted in taunting. It was an activity that she appeared to enjoy as much as he did, and since she didn't complain, he teased her almost relentlessly as a result. Yet one did appreciate the finery, not only of her dress and cultivated appearance, but of her breeding, indeed. And he hadn't even needed his parents to arrange his date, like so many embarrassing childhood formals. Well done, Altair, good show, have a gold star. Altair was highly conscious of the fact that he had taken the hottest chick to Prom, and the smirk on his face was nearly as smug as his swagger as she took his arm again and pressed to his side, straightening up a little as they moved into the crowd. He sneered a little at the song. Ugh. This frilly ghouly s**t was really not his thing, but he would graciously put up with it.
"My dear lady, if you looked any lovelier, the other ghouls would openly be trying to murder you in a jealous rage," he purred, his hand slipping around her waist, turning towards her, pulling her against him. His other hand slipped down her arm, claws brushing down to seize her other hand, putting pressure in the small of her back to pull her into a sweeping slow dance and tried not to gag at the cheesiness of the colored lights.
Still, his date really was lovely, and though he glanced around to make sure none of the people that liked to shoot him in the a** with paintballs and whatnot were scheming his demise, he otherwise had eyes only for the lovely Horseman in his arms-- except for the eye he had out for Nuk. Jack knew he had to mess with the skinwalker, at least.

Making her way to the punch bowl with no intention of filling her glass Mitsu finally spotted Lizzy off a little ways talking to Mot. Tentatively she made her way over a little shy to be approaching with the boil close by. Apparently her nerves were getting the better of her again and this new feeling she had was sort of overwhelming.
"H..hey L-Lizzy, M..Mot." Mitsu stuttered. "I..I'm not int-t-terrupting a-anything am I?" Oh yeah, she was nervous. Words were being dragged out all over the place. The lupine didn't even know how she wanted to go about this conversation, how to word the questions she wanted to ask. For now she just stood by hoping she wasn't intruding, if so she would retreat.

Claire ignored Danny as she walked away, suppressing a grin. There was no way that he didn't know now. She looked for the most deserted wall in the room, covered her mouth to stop her from screaming and slid down the wall, close to crying. She was so happy! But she didn't want to screw up her makeup. So, she just did a little dance. It was a cooool little dance. She saw Roch dancing with the Danny girl and smiled some more. Get it? MORE. Moure cause it's like Moure and... nvm

Field Trip?... Interesting! The ghoul hadn't been informed that there were any field trips going on in this school. Field trips weren't things she took back at her original shack-of-a-school, but she'd read of them (and remembered!). The idea of changing locations along with your peers in a new and different setting- surely they'd had a lot of amazing experiences!
Sounds pretty neat! Never had no field trip before. So tha fight went over good, eh? Yeehee~ you'll have ta point 'im out ta me. Maybe I could give 'im a go er-.... just not today, I reckon. She looked down at her dress and sighed. That's right. Formal wear made by Lizzy was still being worn; she couldn't wreck it or lose what little know-how of etiquette she had. She couldn't fight while she was at this prom.
Levi's eyes widened when Holly said she'd never arm wrestled before. Really? Ya'll 'd love a good arm wrestlin', I'd wager, Holly. No matter yer size, it's all in tha focus.

Junko giggled as he pulled her in again, eagerly leaning into the kiss and hugging him as tightly as she could. Mmf...stupid..band was stopping her from doing that! Without moving away she slid her hand from the band to hug him properly. Her heart stopped for a moment before coming back to life with increased speed, feeling ready to just burst from her chest at any moment. But, she still had to breathe.
Eh. Breathing could wait.
For now she was going to forget they were in the middle of a dance floor at prom. All she cared about was Seiji was here. Seiji was here holding her, singing to her, dancing with her, kissing her, loving her. It was all she wanted right now, was someone to love her. b***h second mouth, homicidal tendencies with her hair and all. Even with her naivety, and her shyness, and her just general airheadedness every now and then, he loved her. Did he say it a lot? No, he hardly ever actually said it. In fact since the one time he had she hadn't heard him say it again. But he told her she was beautiful, and she was lovely, and sweet, and adorable...okay so maybe sometimes she didn't want to be adorable but still. She loved him. Had it been long? Well, no. Scarentine's...but they'd talked so much before Scarentine's! So..whatever. She loved him, and she wanted to keep him. Yes, keep him. No one else could have him, and she didn't want to see her own relationship turn out like...
...Like...no. She didn't want to think about that. Not right now. Not here.
Junko finally ended the kiss once again, though she did lean in to claim his lips for another soft kiss...and another...and finally a third one before she pulled her face carefully from his clawed hand and tucked her head under his chin, hugging him tightly once more as she swayed with the next song that was playing. "I love you."

Taryn followed her date easily, glad that she didn't have to lead him again. Of course, it was no real bother, but she felt like a lady with a classic gentleman. When they sat she even attempted to eat in a genteel manner. Imagine, a silly little monster ghoul at the prom with a reaper.
When Joachim addressed her question, she could only smile and look back up at him. What an attitude he had, so negative. It was almost charming.
"No, no. I don't mind," Taryn replied, totally able to look her date in the eye. She was shocked at her own boldness, which in turn made her blush and look away. "I can't tell them apart..." she added, and then amended what could be an offensive statement with "I like her outfit."

It seemed that Roch was already ready to sweep Danny off into a dance, so Moure looked around in the direction that Claire had run off to. Moure turned back to Danny and gave her a hat-tip and nod. "I'll be back in a bit, alright? I'll come find you after this dance." Moure then turned to Roch with another tipping of his chauffeur hat, "I hope you enjoy your dance."
That all clear, Moure gave a bow to the ghoul he was supposed to be escorting, and then made his way in the direction he'd seen Claire walk off in. He really needed to talk to her, or at least learn what her intentions really were.
After a moment, he spotted her near an abandoned wall. She looked like she might start crying as she slid down the wall. Moure was worried now. had he offended her? Was she heart-broken or something? (Moure really didn't understand ghouls...)
Wait, he had an idea. If she was sad, maybe he could cheer her up? Plan in mind, he walked over to her and offered out his gloved hand with a slight smile. "...May I have this dance?"
