Yumi,as soon as she was put down normally would have had ether a very angry look or scoot away rather quickly from the one who was holding her for there escape, but, this one was easy to slide as they needed to get out of there fast and she knew these two were amazingly fast. So she wouldn't say anything against it! He just helped her to get out safely. "Um..Thank you..." She said quietly, turning to Midgar's direction, her father, brother and mother were all in that city, along with others, of course they needed to protect it! "Yes, let's get going. All my family and friends are there!"

Deception

Born in grief
Raised in hate
Helpless to defy his fate
Let him run
Let him live
But do not forget what we cannot forgive

Disgrace

And he is not one of us
He has never been one of us
He is not part of us
Not our kind

He cleared his throat, not at little awkward. "I..." His front paws moved lightly, nervousness racing through his young body. "I didn't really mind it. To be honest." He looked away, over to Aidan, who was just waking up from the noise around her. Blinking sleepily, she looked at the two older ones.
Evil as plain as the brands on his face

Someone once lied to us
Now we're not so blind
For we knew he would do what he's done
And we know that he'll never be one of us

You were always there to hold my hand
When times were hard to understand
But now the tides of time have turned
They keep changing

Seasons range, but you remain the same
A steady heart, a sun to rain
You'll be the light that's shining bright
High above me

Autumn cold, losing heart

We are leaves meant to fall
There is a meaning to all
That fades

Freezing winds were stayed by warming words
To touch your healing to the hurt
I'll treasure every lesson learned
to the embers

Fire fails
Blushes pale

We will answer the call
There's a meaning to all our

Looking slightly surprised, she looked up at him just as Aidan was waking up. She gave a small smile even as her fur burned a little. "Alright.." she simply said, so that Aidan didn't really understand what was going on about the tail thing. Looking down at the cub, she smiled and pawed at Aidan. "Bet you slept well after that meal," she said with a teasing tone. Looking back at Argent, she gave a light smile before getting to her paws and stretching out. It felt good to have the morning sun on her coat. "Aidan, Argent said that he is coming with us to the Ancient Forest. That is if you still want to go and see the place," she added in with a grin to the cub.

User Image Aidan stuck her tounge out, a gesture she'd seen many humans do. "Well it was good! I haven't had real food in a long time. So there!" She noticed the smile when she glaced at Argent, the males attention on their surroundings, and at the news, her mood swung. "W-We're still going!? Really!? And Argy's coming with us!!?"

Argent stopped, turning to look at the two females, and rose a brow.
"...I didn't just hear Argy.." Was his only comment. The male didn't seem deeply upset by the new pet name, just not to thrilled.

"It had to be better than whatever the labs were forcing on you, I'll give you that," Nikita said as she lightly bumped her head against the cubs', easily giving in. The gesture of sticking out your tongue was odd, but it suited the situation. Then at the news, Aidan's mood swung yet again, though one of happiness. It made Nikita grin, especially at the pet name Aidan suddenly assigned to Argent. "No worse than Nikky," she pointed out to the male, chuckling softly as she glanced over at the meal. There were still plenty of meat on it despite how ravishing the cub was last night. Good thing she had a small stomach! "Let's eat what we can before the sun actually comes up into the skies, it's going to be hot when the clouds aren't covering the sun for us," she said as she stretched once more and gave a small yawn before she padded over to the meal, eating about seven good bites from it before licking her maw as she moved away, looking back at Argent mainly. Aidan probably wouldn't eat so soon after stuffing herself, but then again, the cub had a high metabolism at her age. So she was likely a bottomless pit!

"...Where...on earth, are we." Said a young women, her tone soft and just barely a whisper as she cast her eye's to the surroundings. The women was clothed strangely, wearing much leather armor, she had a white fur pelt around her waist, as well as a few satchels she had a few things stored inside. To her left side a small sword was clipped to the black leather belt around her, a dark cape flow behind her in the gentle breeze while only a few silvery white locks would show through the hood that covered her head. There were two pointy ears poking out of the little holes made in the hood for her ears which made it obvious she wasn't human but elvan. If one was to actually see her close, they would notice she had icy blue eyes,as blue as the clear crystal waters of Serenity.Strapped at her back was a large well carved and decorated bow by natural things she had found along her travels in her world like stones, and even gems. Many different kinds of arrows were resting in there quiver. She had not used them in such a long time, though upon her arrival to this world her first encounters of strangely dressed Soldiers and Infantrymen caused her to use them...they learned quickly not to screw with her!

Her most beloved companion, a large white lion, far larger then any lion, tiger or any other predator. It was not you're normal lion. This thing was so big, she could ride on it without a single bit of stress on it. And that was what she was doing, Nasha, was her name. A female lion that was the most gentle and kindest animal, but when danger struck Nakia, then it wouldn't be so kind. With razor sharp claws and giant teeth, it was not a good idea to tick this lion off.

Lavan was sitting on a smooth rock near the road, his thick pack laying next to him as he relaxed for a short time before the next leg of his journey. He didn't know where he was going really, he was just wandering wherever it felt right. He would still be walking, but he had been a Herald. He could cover massive distances on his Companion, and a still decent amount on a normal horse, but long foot travel was no something he had ever become used too. Heralds were almost always mounted, that was why he was tired again. He happened to be gazing blankly down the road when he suddenly saw a white form coming around a bend, white, and on four legs. He lurched to his feet, still a little unsteady on them, as some irrational hope leaped into his mind. Another Herald? But it only took him seconds to notice many, many differences. It was a giant lion, and the woman riding it only looked kinda human... Something was off about her, but he couldn't tell what at this distance.

The Elvan rider was looking off to the side, she hadn't noticed any others in the area just yet. A large forested area was what caught her eye, she might of gone there if it hadn't been for a faint growlish sound coming from Nasha. More so to alert her that she had spotted something ahead. The lion didn't seem to be acting threatening though, it kept at his slow paced padding across the plains, though now it was heading forward toward the figure in the distance. As Nakia turned to look at the figure herself, she was unsure if they should approach any closer or not. She knew nothing of this world, or anyone in it. He could have been dangerous!

As Nasha padded closer, they would begin to see each other's features far better now. Her icy blue eyes locked onto the figure there and that was when she realized how tired he seemed to look.Of course, her friendly nature took over. Maybe he was lost? The way he was staggering, it seemed it might be possible he had been on his feet for sometime. "...Are you in need of help?" Was her first words to the stranger.

After Lavan staggered a bit just after standing, he planted his feet a little more firmly so he didn't stumble. He hadn't thought he'd been that tired. He wasn't breathing heavily, he had been stopped for several minutes, so it was more that his muscles were still tired then anything else. He watched the woman riding the giant lion as she approached, hand away from the sword and knife at his belt. He doubted that anyone on this world knew how effectivly he could... disable most threats without ever resorting to bladework. That didn't mean he didn't know how to use his sword, oh no. The Weaponsmaster had beat him into the ground and the lessons into his brain often enough that he was a fairly good fighter, just above the accepted level of military competence. However, the approach didn't seem threatening, well, at least as non-threatening as a giant cat could be. The woman riding the massive lion was actually intriguing him more then the giant cat. After all, he had seen a couple of abnormal animals, and was quite used to the pure white on some of them. However, the woman... that was a completely different story. As far as he could tell, she appeared to be a near-perfect match for the old bard's tales descriptions of elves. The tales may have been fictional, but this was just a little more surreal because of that. The unconscious ethereal grace, the more defined yet softer facial structure, the pointed ears, it all matched. But those icy-blue eyes... They reminded him so strongly of Kalira... Her eyes had been exactly the same color... He averted his eyes as the memories sent yet another jolt of pain through his heart. "No, just... tired. I'm not used to walking this much, this far." He said, sitting down a tad heavily on the rock again.

Nakia's first instinct was to offer him something, which the young elvan women slowly slid off the massive lion.Nasha watched the tired stranger there for a few moments before it too decided to rest there, laying down comfortably as it's head rested there on it's paws."You have no mount?" Almost everyone she knew of had one, or the other Serenitians in the Kingdom of Serenity who could change there forms or fly. She too had some of her own unique abilities, though she remained in this human like form at most. "Here..If you have been walking so long, you need something to help replenish you're energy. " She said softly, holding out a canister, it was made of a special wood that held in water without even seeping through or leaking. Leather was wrapped around it and attached to it was a long strap to hold it around her shoulder if need be. "I have some fruits, if you would like any of that. " Serenity fruits at that! Which meant, the best darn fruits anyone in this world would ever have. "Where are you heading? I can help you get around. Nasha is a strong girl, she could carry up to four adults if she needed to. " She said to him. "My name is Nakia, and this is Nasha my companion."

"No, she was... killed." Lavan said, when Nakia asked about him having a mount. He silently accepted the canister she offered, pulling his own water skin out, unstoppering both and filling his skin with some of what was in the bottle. "Thank you." He said, handing her back her canister, which would still be mostly full. And, he recalled a spring just down the road, so she could fill it again if she wanted to. "I'm not really going anywhere. Iv'e just been... wandering." He said, and listened as she introduced herself. all but visibly wincing when she called Nasha her companion. Another needle through the heart, that was. "Glad to meet you both." He said, to both Nakia and Nasha, presuming that Nasha could be just as intelligent as he was, or more. The Companions in his world had been, and everyone always treated them like horses. Everyone but Heralds, anyways. "I'm Lavan." He said, offering Nakia a hand, trying to hide the pain that the most innocent of word choices sent through him.

Nakia's features slipped into a small frown at his first words. Killed? How horrible that was. She didn't know what she would do without hers. It was far more then just a companion or a mount, but a friend, family to her. Nasha was very intellegent as well, the two could communicate by telephathy even.Taking back the canister, she slipped it back into the saddle bags around Nasha's form. "I'm so sorry..about you're mount." Had she of known of his other trouble she would probably be apologizing again! Saddness and pain was not something offten seen in Serenity, but she was still always there to try and bring anyone up if they were down. "You're welcome." Nakia said softly, before she too sat down against the large lion. "Do you know where we are, exactly? I'm not exactly from here. Nasha and I have been wandering for some time now as well. We may need to find a better source of shelter soon, with water near by. " It was never good to wander at night, all the monsters seemed to come out the most at that time. His greeting that followed soon after caused a faint smile to show upon the womens lips as she took his hand in greeting. "Pleased to meet you, Lavan. Is....everything alright? I feel something more is troubleing you. Though, if you don't wish to say right now then I understand. "

"Don't worry about it." Lavan said quietly when she apologized about his Companion. "You can't change the past." No matter what you might be willing to sacrifice for it... "I don't know much, but there is a city a few candlemarks journey down this road." He said, and glanced at Nakia for a moment before looking away again, without ever meeting those blue eyes. "No offense... but I don't think you would like it there. They've taken all the life out of living there, and only a few people even seem to care about anything past their greed anymore." He said. It was a rather harsh assessment of Midgar, but in his mind, it seemed pretty accurate. Not far down this road and into the woods though, there is a clean spring. There's at least clean water there." He said, standing up after a moment. He didn't want to discuss anything about Kalira and their... deep connection. Not yet, even now, so long afterward, it still felt like it had only been a few hours ago. "I can show you where it is, if you want." He said, offering her a hand up. Something that she would probably notice, with those sharp eyes, was how he seemed to be avoiding her eyes as much as possible.

Nakia nodded softly to him, listening to his words as she looked at him, she still wanted to know what was bothering him but in repect to him, she didn't ask further more. "I suppose.." She said softly. As he explained the city, just how he explained it was instantly a turn off of interest for her. She didn't much care for city's in fact, that being one of the reasons. "It does not sound like a place I would like, you are right there. I do hope the good in the city will start to show more, though. "

Petting Nasha softly as she spoke to him, the lions head seemed to raise a little as he mentioned the spring.Seemed she was thirsty! And more so, understood his words. Nakia glanced at his offered hand to help her up, before taking it gently. "That's great..We could all use some fresh water, I think Nasha even more.." She said with a faint smile. She noticed as she watched him a moment, that he was strangely avoiding eye contact with her. Was he ..maybe shy? She had known a few that did such things due to shyness. But it seemed to be something more, maybe painful.
