Smiling a bit wider at the sight of her blush he dipped his head taking his place beside her. Holding out his elbow he smiled,"Ive never gotten the chance to escort a noble. Will you do me the honor?"
Making his way into the dojo Hotaru still had his flack jacket hanging over his shoulder. Setting the jacket down against the wall he shrugged his fur lined jacket off and set it next to it. With a sigh he adjusted his sash that held his katana and headed over to the array of dummies and prepared for his next round of training.
Pulling his katana from his belt he dropped into a low guard stance with both hands in the center of his body blade perpendicular to the ground. After a second of emptying his mind he snapped his blade up into a drop parry and slid his left foot forward. After a second he thrust with his palm on the end of his katana and poured his chakra into the blade. At the apex of his thrust a small beam of chakra shot from his katana and into the dummy spearing it quite nicely. [1/1]
Taking a step back away from the dummy he flicked his wrist and channeled his chakra back into the blade in the form of a chakra scabbard. Raising his weapon high he charged more chakra into the blade and stepped into the chop. To his restrained surprise the blade passed cleanly thought the dummy and the stand it was on. Though his supprise ended there turning into annoyance as he observed the state of his blade. It now had a good sized chunk missing along the edge in a couple spots. [1/1]
Knowing his katana wouldnt take much more punishment he decided to move on to less destructive moves. Taking a step back he again flicked his wrist and ignited the chakra blade. Spinning to his right he brought the blade up and around behind him adding momentum to the strike as he brought it down on another dummy as the one he had been practicing on was now a pile of straw. When the blade landed upon the dummy it bit into it a bit before the chakra blade hit sending it another inch or so deeper into the dummy. [1/1]
Pulling his blade free he stepped back and returned his blade to the scabbard. Taking a moment to center himself and slow his breathing he squared off with the dummy. Sliding his right foot forward and slowly moving his hand to the hilt of his katana he held the hilt loose in his hand. Closing his eyes he expanded his senses outward until his breathing was null. Then in the course of an instant he ripped the blade from his scabbard. The crimson blade raced though the air slashing the dummy across the chest and within the span of a heartbeat was back in its sheath. [1/1]
Supprised by the speed of his own motion he shook his arm with a chuckle. That had been pretty impressive to say the least. Drawing the blade he looked it over before holding it in a vertical position pointing upward like a salute. Concentrating not just his chakra but his katon chakra into the blade he smiled as his face was bathed in the warm glow of flames. Opening his eyes he looked over the blade that was now engulfed in his chakra. Not a bad thing to have in certain situations. [1/1]
Blade still flaming he took up a low stance as he rushed for the dummy. Slamming his blade into his shoulder he allowed one chakra blade to strike directly where his first blade had. Then all in rapid succession four more chakra blades slammed into the dummy. Then he heard a sound he had not expected. It was a cracking breaking sound and he quickly realized what it was when his blade shattered along the spine. With a sigh he let go of what remained of his katana. With slow motions he undid the sash that held his blades scabbard and let it fall to the ground. [1/1]
Picking up his jacket he slid it back on grabbing his chunin jacket he still refused to put on and headed towards the hokages shop. He needed a new blade, or in this case three.

Ryoku entered the dojo looking over the dummies inside of the dojo, worried he might cause too much destruction with his weapon he decided to make clones instead. Making a handsign and creating 5 shadow clones. (-50 chakra) They started to spread out and prepare for the training.

Drawing his Abyssal whip from his hip he took a stance with the clones circling him. Pushing the button in the hilt the whip shot out extremely fast towards one of the clones. Penetrating him through the chest it failed to disperse in a puff of smoke, The clone seemed to have executed one of his recently learned afterimage techniques, realizing this as the one caught on the whip had faded away. Swinging the whip to the side with a long horizontal swipe towards the remaining clones. Managing to catch the one that had just done this. He quickly poofed into smoke as the whip drew closer to the remaining 4 clones.

The whip continued to ark towards the remaining clones one ducked the incoming chain while the others manged to jump over it. Focusing chakra into his whip allowing the shadow beneath it to take control of the direction of the chain. Guiding the chain back around to the direction that the clones were falling in the air from their previous jump. The tip of the whip pierced the one airborne clone causing it to disperse right away while the other one managed to land on his feet quickly trying to move towards the building.

Watching the two remaining clones closely with his hawk vision studying every detail to see how they will move next. Altering the path of his whip again with the shadow underneath it. The whip swing back around just as quickly as they dodge it. The clone quickly made a handseal causing his shadow to split off into several tendrils swarming around his body to prevent the incoming attack. The whip quickly drew in closer to the clone before being bat away by the tendrils. Falling limp on the ground.

Ryoku let off a smirk before quickly making a handseal while holding the whip still laying on the ground close to the clone. With hardly even a moment to respond the small shadow under the whip extended right to the clones tendril, capturing him in the shadow imitation. Once they were captured he pushed the button on his whip fully retracting the extended chain, making a loud clank sound once it slammed into the hilt. Quickly latching it to his hip he reached into his small bag on his hip pulling out three shuriken. Quickly attaching a small wire between them he tossed them right at the clone.
While the Kunai were gunning straight for the clone with the possession still holding. All he could do was watch as they screamed right for him puncturing him quickly dispersing from the edges. With the twitch of Ryoku’s fingers connected to the kunai via a thin wire the kunai veered towards the last remaining clone. Once the kunai reached the clone using the sword deflected them simple enough since they lost much of their speed. Noticing that the wire was still attached to the kunai he still had a plan to dispatch the last clone.

Hesitating a moment while the kunai were still in the air from being deflected. Taking a moment to think how this could work. Taking a stance and spinning as fast as his body would reel in the wired kunai like a spool of thread. Keeping his momentum he retracted them fully grasping them in hand while he used his hawk vision to gather his surroundings, spinning at such a fast pace was hard to grasp the targets. Just to practice his aim as well as land a few extra hits he coiled up 2 extra kunai and hurled them out. Two at the remaining clone while the other three at three separate dummies.
Halting the spin creating a quick handsign while his eyes trailed the remaining kunai in their speeded flights. Alongside each of the airborne projectiles dozens of mimics appeared alongside of them flying equally as fast. The clone being overwhelmed at the incoming wall of kunai moving far too fast to react to was skewered by over a dozen kunai. The remaining dummies were also littered from head to toe with kunai embedded into the wood. Ryoku took a moment to take his original posture having taken out all the clones. The extra mimics of kunai dispersed in small puffs of smoke as he yanked subtly on the wire. Pulling the original five kunai to himself snatching them out of the air and returning them to his small satchel.

Pulling out his whip once again just to test one final ability that he originally made it for. Focusing his chakra into the hilt and up through the blade much like his previous flame spread technique. The chain started to glow brightly from the heat. Being made from the material that it was it could maintain its shape while putting out such heat. Holding down the extraction button while giving a large sweeping motion he swung at the three dummies he had already riddled with holes from the previous jutsu just used. The whip left behind an arc of flames as it passed towards the wooden targets. The whip passed through the wood like butter, leaving behind the cut dummies with fire on top of the slice.
Chloe stayed at a safe distance watching Ryoku use his whip in a masterful way against copies of himself. Finding herself staring at times. She really liked the new outfit. The more he trained the stronger she felt just by watching.
