Kiro. the right door then. "I uh Alyosha" she squeaked. He did look young, almost a child, just like Alyosha said. "he sent me here... to make your room bigger" she hurried out, blushing. Her green eyes moved swiftly over the room, walls within and its structure. Hmm might be hard.

She stood there quietly, not sure what to do. Her long staff tapped against the ground in a soft, even rythm, pounding much like her heart.

Kiro smiled a little with a nod, stepping backwards. "You should probably come in then."

He was strangely reassured by her quietness, it was something he could identify with. Calm and quiet in like, he felt an ear twitch again on impulse. He tilted his head quietly, his voice soft as he sensed to be appropriate. "We haven't met, could I ask your name?"

She wasn't used to talking with others and such a normal interaction had slipped her notice. Ack, she thought. Of course. Name. Yes. Name... Oh yes!
Her nervousness was getting the better of her at the moemnt though with his friendly demeanour and childlike face it wasn't so hard.

"I'm Acia" she answered quietly, whilst slipping into the room. she had to lower her long staff to get it under the doorframe. Looking up at Kiro she managed a small smile.

Looking around the room she noticed all of his things. "We.. your stuff" she motioned. "It'll need to be outside before I begin or at least against the other side.."

He nodded, blinking with a slight blush. He hadn't been expecting anyone, but that didn't mean he couldn't blush a little about not having done it already. He moved forward to take the books and stationary off the desk and deposit them on the bed, also taking up Tsukai's jar but putting it down with a little more care, and then moving to pull the desk as far as he could away from the wall.

When he was finished, he looked to her again. "That okay...?"

"It should do." she said, getting slightly more confidant now she was thinking of getting her job done. She walked over to the wall and pressed her fingers over it. She could feel where the joists were and the rest of the wall was a concrete-like material. "Hmm" she murmered, tapping now lightly with her staff.

"If you stay back" she requested quietly "then I guess I could begin" she could get this over and done with and back to her room quickly. she just needed to do this and get it over with.

One hand pressed against the wall, the other held her staff tight to it. As she traced it around in a rectangle, using her staff to reach where she could not, a black mark began to form, marking out where a door would go through to the next room. She explained whilst she talked. "I can't destroy the joists, the material of the wall isn't strong enough." She finished the marking and stoood back, eyeing it for straightness. "I'll place a door through though, giving you two rooms... that should be allright, shouldn't it"? uneasiness crept into her voice again as she addressed the boy.

At the request to stay back, Kiro sat himself on the bed, cross-legged with his back against the wall. This was as far away as he was going to get without leaving the room. Without thinking too much about it, he picked up Tsukai's jar and held it with a gentle grip, as though worried about him. It was so easy to forget it was just a jar...

He watched her go about her task with an air of fascination, nodding gently as she explained what she was doing.

At her question, he nodded, able to feel his ears twitch. "That would be wonderful..." he said, his voice quiet, by now not for Acia's benefit, but naturally so, still immensely fascinated by what she was doing. And maybe, more importantly, how she was doing it.

Acia looked at Kiro, waiting for assent. As he spoke she turned back towards the wall, her eyes closing. He hands moved out from her body, one palm down on the wall, the other placed around the spear against the wall. Both were close to the edges of where the doorway would be.

Slowly the grains in the middle of the wall began to crumble as if an invisible bore was making its way through. A hole began to form, widening and deepening until light shone through it. Moving outward, the hole began to quickly eat away at the surrounding concrete, getting faster as it moved.

Its growth was halted, though, where the marks had been placed. Directly through, now, was a door-shaped aperture. Acia stood back slowly, somewhat shakily. the effort had tired her a little. It hadn't been since Nehanda's flowerbeds that she'd exerted herself so much. It wasn't as bad as then though. Destruction of material was always far easier than creation.

She looked down at the pile of dust on the floor and then turned to Kiro, seeing a quick way out. "I'll uh... need to take this outside somewhere" she said quickly, her hand flicking out and upwards. As she spoke the particles clumped together in small balls which hovered above the ground.

Kiro smiled, letting himself off the bed to stand in front of Acia, still with Tsukai in hand. He could see her looking for a getaway, he'd often been guilty of such a thing himself.

"Thank you," he said with a nod. "I really appreciate it." He paused before adding with a smile, "That was... pretty cool." He mentally winced as he said it. Sixteen year olds should have a better vocabulary than 'cool'. Or at least, he knew he did - so why did he never just use it?

"Maybe I'll see you around?" he added, stepping back to make a clear way to the door for her should she want to make her hasty retreat.

"Maybe" she quickly assented before zooming out of the door. she had been sure he was going to block her way out there. Eek.

Making her way outside, into the sun, she let herself relax. She dumped the small blocks of now sandstone-like substance beside the entrance in a pyramydal structure. Maybe someone could use them for a rockery or something? There was nothing she could do with them right now however.

Dinner for Alli and something for Jorai. Her nervousness was gone by the time she walked back into the comfortable apartments.

Alyosha followed Sy, waiting until she had finished using the bathroom, and chucked his clothes off immodestly. He didn't wish to push the subject of her mother, it was obviously still a sore spot, no matter how blunt she was about it. It must have been an accident, he decided, because of her reply.

He didn't pry.

Walking out into the summery, balmy heat, he made his way across to the male side of the baths, sitting at the edge for a moment, remembering when the place had been built. He tried to think of something to change the subject. Dragging this on could only lead to pain.

"How is Delta getting on?"

"I'm not letting you change the subject," she said rather testily. If she was being brave enough to bring up the subject, the least he could do was listen to her. Besides, she had to tell him... she didn't want her sister trying to tell him to scare him off. Sydney wasn't even there... and... there was just something wrong about hearing her sister tell it. It all sounded more monstrous that way.

As she eased herself into the bath on the woman's side and folded her towel on the side, she was glad for the privacy. He wouldn't see her face as he listened to her speak. "Sydney showed she had powers when she was a toddler. I never did... but Dad sensed I had some. Because Syd had started using and discovering hers, Dad could help her control them. I didn't though. After a while Syd ran away from home to "discover the world." Myra was a baby then. They were afraid I'd manifest my powers any day, and they were afraid of what they were and how'd they manifest. They weren't afraid of getting hurt themselves... Dad was powerful, and Mom was a youkai."

She paused, listening to make sure no one else had walked in and to make sure Aly was listening. This was the easy part. Remembering how cute Myra had been as a baby... well, her diapers reeked, but she had been pretty cute.

Alyosha didn't say anything. He sat quietly at the edge of the baths, listening. she obviously wanted to tell him but he wasn't pushing her. She was the one who had brought it up afterall.

The sound of splashes came as he got to his feet and waded into the water, slipping down to sit when he reached the large barrier that seperated the women and mens side. He laid his head against the barrier, listening, waiting for her to continue.

Satisfied he was listening she leaned against the edge of the bath, sinking in farther so that only her head was above the water. He sounded nearby.. but she couldn't let how close he was distract her. Gods know then she'd never finish the story. o_o;;

"They decided to try to keep Myra away from me unless one of them was present... and I didn't understand. I was angry because I knew I'd never hurt her or them. Mom needed to go get materials one day, but she'd need help carrying it all home. I wanted to stay home with Myra, but Mom and Dad wouldn't let me. They were afraid of what might happen... and then... I don't know. We just... kept fighting. I was so angry at them... I just remember watching them get hurt. I was too frustrated to understand or stop. It was like an invisible monster hurting them... I knew it was me, but not physically." She sighed a moment, her voice starting to quiver. "So that's how it happened. I tried to give Myra a good home before I left. That's why."

Why she killed them. Why she was a weapon of destruction. Why to a lot of things. More than she had ever cared to reflect upon.

Not waiting to hear a response she let herself slip into the water and feel its comfort. She had always loved the water, even if she was a neko hanyou. It was warm and inviting, soothing even. It almost made you want to sleep right there, not even bother crawling into a bed.

Alyosha nodded a little even though it was only himself who could see it. "Must have been hard on you" he commented, not wishing to say much more in case he upset her. He paddled a little ways away, making his way to the edge of the water, right at the junction between the two sides of the large, naturally warm pool. He leaned out of the water, his pale skin seeming even whiter against the dark flagstones. He moved forward enough that he could peek the top of his head around the barrier, check that she was allright.

"Sy-chan" he said, quietly. "Daisuke" he was slightly red as he said this and crawled back towards the pool, the enveloping closeness of the water. He hoped the sentiments if not the words were understndable. In fact, now he thought about it he hoped she didn't understand the random japanese uttering. He cared for her a lot, he didn't want to see her go and, if the last few days had taught him anything - he felt better when she was around.

As she re-emerged from the water she felt a little better because she had told him and he hadn't screamed or ran away. Not that she really imagined him doing so, but his calm and compassionate behavior helped her reassure herself. Accident. Only an accident. Besides, neither Myra nor Sydney held any sort of ill will towards their sister- if anything, it had made them incredibly close to her. They had become surrogate mothers and fathers for each other, sending letters and chiding bad behavior. It could have been much, much worse.

Crawling out of the water she peeked around at the men's side. No one was there besides Aly. >_o She could break the rules just this once. No one would know, anyway.

Trying to be quiet, she decided to try to crawl around the flagstones and seperator. There was just one thing she didn't take into account: how slippery the water made everything. Just as she was about to slip into his side quietly she put her hand on a flagstone to ease herself in. Her hand slipped, her balance shifted, and with a gigantic splash she landed in the men's side. @__@
