 H o n e y k i t“A joke is a very serious thing.”___________________________[Honeykit's ears perked as Waterpaw approached and greeted Purekit, then nodded to the rest of the kits. He tilted his head at the apprentice's questions. Had Waterpaw forgotten than Lavenderrain was part of the NightClan patrol for the journey? Or had she not told him at all? Surely the deputy had adressed her apprentice of the issue.]
“Hey, Waterpaw.”
[He mewed the greeting with a smile. Waterpaw always looks so down. Honeykit was his polar opposite, and all of NightClan's, and that made him want to help. But Waterpaw had asked Purekit about Lavenderrain, so he didn't want to intrude, even though Dapplekit already sort of did.]

[Waterpaw opened his eyes in surprise.]
Hmm, I thought maybe the mothers of these kits would've at least said something horrid about me. he thought perplexed.
[Waterpaw tried to open up but it was always a hard thing for him.
Honeykit seemed nice enough though.
He finally felt the ice in his gaze turn to moutains of rushing water.]
"Hello Honeykit, Dapplekit. No I haven't been on any patrols. Purekit's mother had been my mentor but now it seems as if she's left little ol' me to teach myself." he chuckled warm-heartedly.

“Haven't you heard, Waterpaw? Lavenderrain, as deputy, went with a couple other NightClan cat to retrieve the remedy for the Madness.”
[He mewed softly to the young tom. His emerald eyes flashed with interest. Waterpaw wasn't even told that his mentor left. Strange. Honeykit promised himself to tell Lavenderrain about this when she returned, if she returned, and if Waterpaw won't do so before him.]___________________________..

[Purekit blinked, then shook her head.]
"My mommy left on the journey to get the remedy," she said. "I'm sorry."
[She stood and blinked.]
Then she said flatly, "You should let people prove to you they're good. If you lock yourself away, you'll only become lonelier."
Then, as if nothing at all had happened, Purekit chimed, "Would you guys be my friends?"
[Her large hazel eyes blinked innocently, bright and alert.]═══════════════════════

[His clear green eyes sparkled with amusement. In his opinion, all kits were friends. At least, he hoped.]___________________________..

"Yay!" she squeaked cheerfully.
[She ran at Honeykit and tackled him, seemingly in affection.
I like getting closer to other cats... she thought as she pummeled Honeykit's belly with her hind legs. I just wish I could find Richkit.]═══════════════════════

H o n e y k i t“A joke is a very serious thing.”___________________________[Honeykit was just about to purr when Purekit tackled him. He grunted, but a grin flashed across his muzzle. He tried to laugh as the she-kit batted his belly with her hind legs, though struggled to. Honeykit smirked and rolled over, sending Purekit rolling and tumbling into Dapplekit and Shiningkit. He laughed as the three she-kits mewed in annoyance. Sighing, he turned back to Waterpaw, forgetting he was there for a moment. Honeykit flattened his ears and grinned nervously. The apprentice was probably thinking about how immature and stupid the four kits were.]___________________________..

[Shiningkit saw Honeykit look up at Waterpaw. She snuck around behind him and leapt on top of him, his scruff lightly in her teeth.]

He let out a startled mrreow and staggered up onto his long legs, instantly rolling off Purekit once more. He shook whoever it was on his back off. Shiningkit toppled off of him, and he pounced onto her, his forepaw's at her chest and neck. He smirked, feeling victorious.]
“You two are lucky I'm going to be a medicine cat some day.”
[He joked with a growl, emerald eyes sparkling. He glanced at Purekit and Shiningkit, realizing that the fight was unfair, him being outnumbered two to one. He braced for another tackle from Purekit, which he greatly expected.]___________________________..

When the dust settled, she had disappeared.

Parting his jaws, he let out a sneeze and blinked wearily. He froze. Purekit had vanished! He looked around, his fluffy tail anxiously swishing.]
“Come out, Purekit. I know you're still here...”
[He mewed with a smile. True, no matter how well she hid, he could still scent her presence nearby.]___________________________..

[Purekit had to hold back a giggle. She wiggled a final time, then jumped from the top of the rock, legs sprawled out. She looked like a flying cat for a few moments, then fell on Purekit's back. She gripped him tightly, trying not to dig her claws in his skin, and nibbled on his ear.

[Honeykit let out a half-squeek half-yowl in shock and pain as he felt Purekit slam onto his back and her teeth pinch his ear. He snarled playfully and shook his pelt, then whipped around in a circle, but the she-kit held a firm grip.]
“Ah, Purekit! What're you trying to do to my ear?!”
[He hissed with good-humor and forcefully shook his pelt again, as if he were soaked in water.]___________________________..
