"Allright!" The paladin shouted as despite her nakedness she was determined to remove the offending reptile from his arm. Firin grabbed Eric's arm trying to least wrench it off him. It returned it by sinking its venomous fangs into her arm. Ignoring the pain she held firm."Try to get it off anyone!" She shouted just holding him tight as to keep him from moving.

Mina panicked some and moved to try and get to shore. She had put enough distance between her and the snake that she didn't realize what was happening till Eric attacked. As Firin got a hold on him Mina stumbled onto shore and grabbed her bag, quickly digging through it as she tried to find something she could use. "come on, I've got to have one in here somewhere." She said to her self, sticking her head into the bag as she looked around.

((I'm kind of not sure how to continue. :/ after all you people ignored the fact that the bird carrying the elixer for the child vanished after Shade's character picked it up. ^^; Anyway, what's going on now?))

(Shade's character picked up the bird and sent it onward to town with the elixir cause we didn't want to split up the group any more than we already had. Right now everybody is hanging out in a semi-magical stream, trying to get an "evil" snake off Eric's arm. The snake is magically enhanced and has made Eric go into a berserker state.) With Firin holding the thrashing Eric in place to a degree, Roxanne approached slowly and with some effort hooked the talons of her staff between the snakes coils and Eric's arm. Willing her staff to shift, the clawed hand atop her staff slowly closed its grasp around the snake and crushed its spine.

(((I'll be honest with you SD, I really did not notice that major detail in your post.)))
Tried as he might, Eric could not get Firin off of him. The paladin was stronger than she looked, well no matter there. Instead of going after Roxanne, he went after the one that was holding him down instead!
Luckily, Roxanne came to the rescue just in time. With the snake no longer living, it's magic no longer had a hold on him. Eric slowly began to lose consciousness and past out.

The possessed Eric kept on fighting her grip, Firin despite the fire burning through her veins she kept her hold on the thrashing Knight. The paladin was glad to see Roxanne's staff slay the snake that had wrapped itself around the knight finally releasing its grip on him.
Firin let the unconscious knight lay on the ground while she worked a prayer that was purging the poison from her body.

Mina continued to dig through her bag, not knowing the battle had ended. "Frndrit!" She exclaimed, her voice muffled by the bag over her head. With some struggling Mina got the bag off her head and pulled out a pink candle. "Hang on guys, I've got the..." She looked to Eric as he slowly passed out. "And, you're done." She sighed, dropping the candle back in the bag, she had her hopes set on burning the snake.

While she didn't get to burn the snake, she was effective. Eric quickly combusted into flames, that alone was enough to get him back on his feet.
"Ahhh! Why am I on fire!?" He screamed, jumping to his feet and diving head first into the water. Moments later, he came up for air, still ablaze. "The water does nothing!"
(Was that a spell by Mina?)(Will either work on this later or wait till someone else posts and follow up from there, too tired at the moment to edit and rework this post.)

(Of course we read your posts SD, I think we as a group just brushed over that detail of the bird disappearing. xD But for the sake of the story we'll just say it stayed long enough to deliver the elixir or Roxanne conjured a bird of her own to complete the journey.) Loosing the grasp of her staffs claw, Roxanne used it to fling the snake's corpse off into a bush near the forest's edge. Roxanne smiled as she noticed Mina just now ready to combat the snake. "We gotta get you a holster or something for your candles Mina. Next time it might not just be a lone snake..." Roxanne said, wading back into the stream where she scooped up a handful and tossed it on the unconscious Eric.

(No I'm sorry for getting upset. It's alright, what's past is past. This is a roleplay after all everyone has different ideas. I don't want to lay guilt trips on anyone. Sorry I haven't been myself, I'm just kind of been depressed lately. I'll try to hop back in.) Cress returned to the group only to find Eric with a snake attached to his arm. He had delivered the medicine and the little girl had awoken. The young Cleric was glad it all worked out but now it seemed this group would need him. That is if Eric continued to wear that snake as a fashion accessory. Of course the man was unconcious, probably had been poisoned. Casually leaning on his staff he looked at the group with a calm smile. " I guess you know by now that this river is rumored to have poisonous snakes residing within it?" he stated casually ignoring the women in their bathing attire. Walking over to Eric he gently touched his forehead and got a grim look on his face. He could feel evil magic at work here, and it wasn't the Warlocks. Someone obviously wanted this warrior dead, lucky for them Cress knew how to remove curses and heal. Perhaps they needed him after all. Looking at his cousin he figured she would be alright watching her cast a poison removal spell. Without saying a word Cress closed his eyes and began to focus. Using his magic he was trying to remove the cursed spirit from Eric and demolish it when it was out of the man's body.

With Firin and Cress's help, Eric reawoken soon enough. He could have done without Roxanne splashing water all over him, however. But he understood that the warlock was trying to help as well.
"Huh?" He asked wearily as he watched the cousins at work. "What's going on?"
While the poison was removed from his body, there were other ancient cursed magics at hand that were merely suppressed. The snake was simply a catalyst for it to resurface.
Surely by now, there was more than what meets the eye with him. As the two could feel a paladin's protection already present.

(I am and I will. Some days are just harder to cope. Sadly yesterday was one of those days. ^^; Sorry again.)
Cress was happy Eric was alive, but a sudden cold chill filled his mind with worry. Oddly he felt as if invisible eyes were staring at them. Not only that, this man seemed a bit different now? Or maybe something had awakened within his soul?
The Cleric would have to keep an eye on him. He figured his cousin or the warlock would explain things. That's right! His cousin! Turning to Firin he began to feel around her exposed belly and began to look for scars.
"Are you alright cousin? Anything hurt anywhere? What about the little ones inside of you are they well?" he asked her with concern. Cress had to blush a bit because he hadn't noticed how round her belly was. Maybe she was further along now? Of course it was a bit awkward seeing your pregnant cousin in scantly clad bathing gear.
The Warlock was no different, her bust and her belly seemed to rival the other women by tenfold. Cress never could understand how she could carry all of that weight. Slyly he would glimse at her ample clevage a little since it was kind of hard to not notice. The Candle Witch seemed to be upset about something but her body showed signs of largness as well. Did the water do something to them? Cress could have sworn they only looked a few months along hours ago.
Maybe it was the heat of the day getting to him.
