Seriously? Three days for finals?
I honestly think the half days are dumb and we should just have one last day of testing.

No, I would totally burn out. I like the distribution of final exams.

Ohh, right. I keep forgetting that we take a different number of classes at a given time.
Any plans for the summer?

The only thing that's actually planned is my mission trip to Michigan. You?

/ramble. Only thing set in stone is an internship that (I have no idea how) I scored. Its hours sound pretty intensive (8-4 every weekday for six weeks o.o), but hopefully it'll be worth it. (It's not even paid this year! Then again, if it were, it'd probably be much more selective. But now I have no money coming in. Buggers. Jamba Juice time?) I then am going to have to get in tennis in at a regular time, not to mention just general time to get into shape for tryouts, since I obviously won't be able to make most tennis camps. Which is gonna be tough. I might be able to find an evening class. There's only so much I can do by myself on a tennis court. Flute practice is gonna find its way somewhere in there, and I also have to volunteer lots over the summer as well if I want to have a prayer of getting into NHS, which I definitely have to get started on over the summer if I want to have time to send in college apps during the school year. Which I should probably also start over the summer. And there's all the scholarship applications I should really get started on. And the college visits, if I can stomach them. And there's the blasted requirement of consumer ed that I'm fulfilling in an online course over the summer. Senior pictures are supposed to be done over the summer, but that's obviously not happening. And I really need a haircut.
TL;DR Too much crap. As always.
But, I don't recall you having told me about going to Michigan o: That sounds lots of fun. Where in Michigan? Is it like a camp of sorts with tents and s'mores and ghost stories?

What's the internship for?
Your NHS chapter must be different than mine because we don't have to do anything over the summer.
I'm going to Benton Harbor and it won't be like a camp. We just spend time fixing up the town and hang with the kids. At the end there's a cookout but we've never had s'mores before.

It's an engineering internship, so I can figure out if engineering's actually my thing, or if I should switch to Plan B.
Lucky you. We don't *have* to do anything over the summer; it'd just be a very good idea to get service and leadership hours in during that time.
That's pretty cool. Fix up the town as in construction?
Never had s'mores in your life? o_o

That kind of internship sounds fun.
It's not really building but painting. last year we also helped clean up a tornado zone.
I've had s'mores. I'm saying we haven't had them at the cookout before.

I was gonna say, if you hadn't had s'mores before...

Kind of. What kills me are the long-winded lectures. My eyelids weigh like 10 pounds during those.
Speaking of food, I cannot stop smelling the scent of chicken soup, and I have no idea where it's coming from.
