-> i used to be a fan of diru and then wandered off to american music for a few months... ::glares at friends for shoving it on her::
-> but now i'm better because i'm back to listening to mostly japanese rock stuffs.
along with the odd french electronica and kpop. >_>
-> "the domestic ******** family" is still the first song of theirs (and any jrock band) i listened to. it actually got me hooked on the whole jrock scene. x_x
-> shinya is still my favorite member~!
-> and "umbrella" is still my favorite song (i used it as a storyboard idea for a music video in media class).
-> and "filth" is still my favorite video. >_>
why? i don't know.
-> and leenie would still like to eat barnes & noble for not even carrying any good jrock online.
-> thats probably why she went to american, because she couldnt find anything more online and no one has anything good in stores in new jersey. D:

I got into Dir en Grey simply by wanting to expand my j-rock band list from just MALICE MIZER and Schwarz Stein!!!
God I can name a favorite song almost all of them... I'd have to say first official favorite was Shokubeni!!!
I want to visit and possibly live in Japan someday.
Erm I am an artist and photographer... thats all I can come up with so if you wanna know more you can check my profile or myspace ^-^

hello! my name is psychocutie, serenity in RL....
my fave dir en grey song is yokan...yurameki...the final and many more...lol
i got into dir en grey a few years ago when my friend was trying to look up something and I saw a picture of Kaoru's hair and I was like "OMG! that is so so so cool!" and that sparked my interest forever! my diru members are kaoru and shinya! I love all of them though... I would truly love to seem them in concert one day! but thats enough about me! this guild rocks!

hello, i`ve been fan of Diru since..one year i think :3 my first song was Cage and i didn`t like it XP i weas starting love Dir en Grey bit by bit. favourite song..i don`t have, but the most i like Hotarubi, Sanagi no yume wa ageha no hane, Obscure, Mushi, Kasumi, Raison d`etre..favourite member - Kyo. favourite album - Macabre. thanks! smile

Well, so I'll introduce myself. In first sorry for my rotten English, I speak french and it's not easy for me to express myself in English : Hope you'll undersand...
I'm a 16 years old girl who lives in Belgium. I discover Dir en Grey about one year 1/2 ago, and I really fall in love after listening of some of their songs...
I'm not really favourite song, and my fav' album is Gauze (even if I like all their album). About PVs, I like Obscure and Mazohyst of Decadence (the only one PVs wich disgut me...).
Even if I'm a new fans (a bit more of one year and half is not a lot...), I really love this group (and it's not 'cause "kyaaah beautiful guy kyaaaah!", I hate people who think as that, a group is in first music, and not physical *don't know it's the good word?* of the members =_=). I like a lot Diru, 'cause their songs have somethings special I fell when I listen to, and touch me more that other group, even if I can't say why...

Well, I suppose I best introduce myself. ^_^
My name is Kyosti, and I'm from Finland [living in the UK to study English.].
I'm 20 (just), and I enjoy reading, playing my guitar, listening to music and gaming.
Hmm, I must say my favourite Dir en grey song would have to be Mazohyst of Decadence. My favourite album a close shave between Macabre and Gauze. My favourite PV is either Child Prey, OBSCURE (uncut version) or -mode of Adam-.
And all of my money from the two jobs I currently do (I don't get paid for going to university, darn it XD) ... generally goes on fuelling my general J-rock obsession. Like I just bought Kyo's new poetry book. It's beautiful.
And, well, my favourite member is Kyo. ...if that wasn't obvious. ^^
Edit: Grr at Gaia for not letting me do the umlauts. x.x

fave song - mm....at this point it's probably C or -saku-....but then I just got my GAUZE album yesterday so that's probably going to change very soon xd
fave cd - well...as I said....I haven't listened to GAUZE that much yet....soo I guess Withering to Death (seeing as that's the only other album that I've got a full copy of crying )
Mmm....I guess....I really like Diru....because they can't be defined into a genre...and I guess their songs hold more meaning for me than other groups....well that's about it I suppose.

It's nice to meet everyone.
I can't remember how exactly .. It was like .. four or so years ago, I was randomly searching stuff on google and came across gothic lolita. Which brought me to Malice Mizer and through Malice Mizer, I found Dir en Grey and .. from Dir en Grey a few other visual kei/j rock bands. n.n
For the longest time Kyo was my favourite .. but lately, I've been leaning towards Shinya. xD It's kind of hard to choose. It wouldn't be Dir en Grey without all of 'em there, yanno?
Um .. I don't really have a favourite PV 'cos I haven't seen any yet .. =X Yeah. x.x I have dial-up and I don't know how exactly to obtain any things like that .. so it's hard being a huge fan when I can't see the stuff or listen to their music much.
xD Plus, I'm poor so .. ordering it is kind of hard.
o.o That isn't to say I'm "not" a fan .. I very much am .. xD I'd totally have like .. a bunch of friggin' Diru stuff if I could.
o_o I have heard a small handful of their music .. I really like Keroido Milk .. o.o For one .. xD And then I don't really have a list of favourites from there. Mazohyst of Decadence is .. interesting. xD o.o Lots.

My name is Cecily and I've been a fan of Diru for about...a year now.
I got into them from a guy who showed me a site that had a whole bunch of pictures of each of the band members.
I vowed that I would find songs from that band.
My favorite songs are: Pink Killer, Mr. Newsman, Children, Sajou no Uta, [KR] Cube, Ain't Afraid to Die, Cage, Tsumi to Batsu, and Mazohyst of Decadence. (Though none of these songs are in order.)
My favorite member would have to be either Kyo or Toshiya. I can't choose between the two, though I love them all very much.
Um, I have all of their CD's, and I think that my favorite album would be Macabre.
I've seen almost all of their PV's. I really enjoyed the onea for [KR] Cube, OBSCURE (Uncut Version) and Cage, and so do most of my friends.
Since finding about Dir en Grey, I have found a lot of other bands that I enjoy immensely. I have also forced the majority of my friends to listen to J-rock and they truly enjoy it (Well, now that I'm not forcing them into it... ^^; wink
