Aislin reached up to rub her thumb on Barick's arm. She welcomed his touch. After her brief panic attack and Gab's transmitted fear of Kir, sne needed the calm Barick's presence gave.

Gab had actually wrapped his tail around Barick's arm, after the terrifying feel of Kir's Magic, he welcomed any and all comfort.

Barick rubbed gab's head with one hand while he was still holding Aislin in his arms.

Aegina hugged Core since he was the closest thing nearby.

Aislin took the book, "You're a machine? Core explained about the Kieran... But I thought you were at least partially... Angel."

Gab leaned into the rubbing, his shaking starting to become less and less noticeable.

Kir closed his eyes. He knew it would be impossible to explain on paper. Heck, some of it was even hard to explain verbally. That's why Lily had trouble. So, he did something he never done before.
He opened his mind to another person. Completely.
Kir gently placed his hand on Aislin's forehead and images began to show up in her mind.

The first image was of an Angel fetus inside a small chamber filled with liquid. Then, a male Angel arguing with a human scientist, "What are you doing to my son?!" He demanded desperately.
The next image was when a supersonic cry came from the encased fetus and instantly killed the man and woman that were experimenting on him.
After that, a complicated procedure where Kir as an infant was fitted with the crystallis; it was botched and the crystallis ended up in his left eye. The crystallis is the soul of Kieran, a powerful Dragonkin who had lost his loved one and went insane. Both of their minds were conditioned for them to become effective killing machines. Kir's soul was broken in half during this process to create a blood crystallis; a red jewel that controlled Kir's actions when the person possessing it gave a command. With very basic metal implants put inside his body, they let Kir grow a little.
But he escaped, with his older sister Amaranth. They fled to Skyrim where they were adopted and raised. They forgotten about their hardships until recently, when Amaranth was arrested and Kir was taken away. After many challenges and trials after Amaranth being retrieved again, they find out the truth about Kir. Synthic explained to him that he was developing into a living weapon. It was a hard journey after that, with each time more painful than the next; and Kir slowly became a weapon to serve his owner, Lily. His body was constantly adjusting to Lily's wants and desires, however since Lily wanted Kir to remain the same he still looks and acts like he did before. Lily only has to give him a command to activate his true power which is normally locked away, unless Kieran activates him or he activates due to a threat.

Kir lifted his hand from Aislin's forehead, unable to continue what he was doing. He opened his eyes and looked dazed, putting a hand to his forehead and looking down a bit.

"It's okay...I should apologize too...I shouldn't have lied..." Core said.

Aislin looked at Kir, "You poor man..."

Gab climbed onto Barick's shoulders, "They brutalized you and your magic.

"What's wrong, Lin?" Barick asked.

"...don't lie to me anymore. I want to protect you, but I can't do that if you don't trust me." Aegina said.

"But I didn't know you that well back then, I know you better now, so you can tell me anything you want. I'll be here for you." Aegnia reassured.
