Erickka smiled softly as she leaned into his chest. The beating of his heart filled her ears. It was the perfect song. Her smile stayed on her chest as she looked back up at Embry. The two hadn't changed a day since they were sixteen.
"I love you too." she replied softly.

Renesmee, Renesmee shook her head roughly, noise building up in her throat. "I can't leave Anna," she shrieked, pulling out of Jake's grip and landing on the ground. Desperate, she crawled forward, toward the grave that would only rip out most of her heart again. When she reached her, her hands embraced the stone that stuck out from the ground, and her tears started to slither down the side of the granite. "Anna," she begged, her bloodshot eyes blinking away more and more tears; useless, for they just kept coming at an unstoppable speed. "Come back. I'll trade you places. Jake and grandma and grandpa can raise you." By now, her chest was heaving and her tantrum was more of a mourning: something like pleading to the lord for him to bring her daughter back to her, or at least let her daughter live the rest of her life, even if it would cost Nessie hers.
Seth nodded and smiled sincerely at her, compressing her finger with his own. "Of course I am. Do you expect me to follow somebody else?" He asked, with fake surprise thick in his tone. Then he laughed, his head going up in the air for a moment. A groan pushed out from his throat as he got used to standing up on solid ground again. "Umm, just where are we going anyway?" He asked, confused for a moment from Scarlette's lack of information in her short question.
Emily stood and stretched her arms out, yawning; it was caused from her lack of sleep and worry for her children. "I guess your right, Sam," she said, embracing him quickly before turning to her cousin. "I don't know, Leah. I feel so bad; it's amazing how strongly you feel about people you barely know. Especially when they die. Oh, and are you coming over to our house. I wanted to grill food. Anna always like the grill outs, I thought it would help her memory." She was going to grill everything in the house that could be placed on those iron racks and cooked over a flame. It would definitely be enough food for everyone who planned on coming.
Iolo could see Sierra Jill's expression, and knew from past experience that she had just stifled a laugh. "Yea, obviously," he muttered, catching up to her and gripping each of her shoulders with either of his hands. "Almost laughing at a funeral," he joked with a mocking tone, "smooth move, Sierra. Real sweet." Then he grinned at her again, seeing if he could make the laugh actually come out and make a noise. That's when the teasing would begin.
Toby was suddenly curious, but stayed silent as she let him grip her hand. "What did she say?" He asked quietly, letting her pull him forward through the crowed of mostly shapeshifters and a few humans. And one Ember Rose, which ran into the forest anyway. "Sammy?" He chided cutely, sounding more like a child than usual. Just saying her name-even her nickname-sent an electric shock through his body that you would believe was only capable of at least late teenagers.
Karina shook her tiny, canine head, then stared at Joey, a sly grin appearing in her thoughts. I told you to stop teasing him. He's your alpha, and you'll get in trouble. If you get hurt, I get hurt, she threatened, knowing that it would obviously work. What did you say to him. Did you talk about Kaylynn? she asked impatiently, rolling her eyes and leaning against him. As Karina waited for a reaction, she looked around at the forest-which seemed pretty dreary, fitting for a day like this-with enhanced senses. Outside the forest it was so pretty, here it just looked like a haunted forest.
Hadria shook her head, laughing at how naive Haydn seemed at first glance. "How do you think the funeral was Hay?" She asked, rolling her eyes and walking up to him. "And your scent did distract me. I almost jumped off the chair, and I would have gotten in trouble." She pouted, putting a sad, sulking expression on his face. This was the game she would play with him every time she could, and the truth was, it was fun. She crossed her arms in front of her and stared up at him, her bottom lip big and trembling; all an act. But he might not know that.
Collen looked up and couldn't help but catch Leah's angry looking glare. He quickly ran behind a tree and some bushes, phased, and put his clothes on in one swift motion. Just a few moments later, he emerged from the forest and took Kaylynn's hand in his own. "What do you think we thought about? Joey teased me, of course, but in the back, thought of Karina the whole time. Haydn: Hadria. And Kyeran; Ember Rose. And me..." he wandered off, grinning at her and started to pull her down a path. "Is you mother ever going to get used to me?" He asked her when they weren't within Leah's hearing anymore. the vampire with a beating heart

QUil held his family close. "I love you too." He said kissing them both on their foreheads. He didn't want to ever have to feel this pain of losing his own family that were so near and dear to him. "COme let's go everyone is leaving."
Kim sobbed into jared's shoulder. she imagined losing him whenever he went out to go help the pack. SHe couldn't bare to lose him she hugged him close.

Scarlette shrugged and smiled.
"It'll be a surprise as soon as I figure out where we're going." she replied cheerily.
Scarlette grabbed Seth's hand and started running. To where she didn't know, nor did she care. As long as she was with him, she would be happy. Scarlette's red hair billowed out behind her as she moved with grace that could match Sierra Jill's.
Sierra Jill rolled her eyes and let out a dry, obviously fake laugh. She put her hands on top of Iolo's as she kept moving towards...Well, she hadn't figured that part out yet. Sierra shrugged. She'd figure it out when she got there. Sierra turned her head and looked back at Iolo, a half grin resting upon her face. Her recently cut hair did not blow in the wind as much as it would have, but the bits that were long enough sure did.
"You still going to that 'August Moon Dance' that we got an email about?" she asked.
Samantha gripped Toby's hand a little and took in a deep breath. She walked towards a nearby tree and let her back rest on it. Samantha turned Toby towards her.
"She said that the vampire who killed Anna was out for blood. That she wanted revenge or something like that. But she left before I could get anymore out of her." she told him, her voice in a hurried whisper.
Samantha sighed heavily and squeezed Toby's hand once more. She took in a deep breath and sighed.

Renesmee, Seth laughed and shook his head, letting Scarlette pull him forward. "Let's see, you haven't figured out where yet? So, what if we end up somewhere confusing and get lost?" He asked, still chuckling under his breath. Although, because both of them had shapeshifter blood pumping through their veins, that was about as likely to happen as them seeing a random koala in the La Push forest; meaning it was pretty much impossible, let alone going to happen.
Iolo rolled his eyes, following Sierra Jill. "Well, a fake laugh doesn't give me much to work with Sierra. Something sincere would help," he murmured quietly. Then he looked back at the place of the funeral, watching as it faded away. "Okay, where are we going Sie?" His tone was curious and inquisitive, but his voice was still very low-quiet actually. "Or do you even know where you're going? And yes, I probably will go. If you go." He looked at her with a blank expression, waiting for her to respond.
Toby sat down beside Samantha, staring into her eyes as she spoke. He arched his eyebrows and stuck his face in his free hand, holding Samantha's hand gently in the other. "We need to tell my dad," he whispered, sighing and putting his hand down in his lap. His dad was the first alpha he thought of, although he figured he would start aging soon; to stay with his mother for life. "And Collen, and Iolo. I'm just guessing that Iolo will be the alpha when all of the puppies start a pack." By now, he was one hundred percent sure Sammy had seen Anna-you didn't just dream up things like that. the vampire with a beating heart

Scarlette smiled softly as she continued to run. She used her free hand to move some hair from her face and looked back at Seth. She gave him a toothy grin before turning her head back as she slowed her run to a light jog.
"Me? Lost? Never!!" she replied.
Scarlette laughed lightly as she sped up her jog to a run. Her smile was still on her face as she did so.
Sierra Jill rolled her eyes as well. She leaned her head up and looked at Iolo. She let a half grin rest on her face as she turned her head back down. She sighed heavily as she then watched one foot rest in front of the other. Sierra Jill continued to walk patiently and quietly as Iolo continued to talk.
"I'll tell you if we get there." she replied sheepishly, her hands squeezing his a bit.
Samantha's eyes widened. She shook her head furiously, her hair flying all around. Her facial expression was shocked that Iolo would even consider saying something like that. Samantha shook her head once more and bit her lip roughly.
"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, and no! I can't tell Sam or Collen or Iolo this! What if they think I'm crazy?" she asked.
Samantha put her free hand to her forehead and she took in a deep breath as she then began to run her hand through her hair. Sammie was never really one to care about what others thought of her, but this was a different case.

Jake sobbed, he hated seeing his wife like that. He then saw Edward pick his daughter up. He walked over to the gate holding Bella. "It's ok Bells, it's ok" he said softly. He reached the gate and sighed relieved that the pain had dulled, he was just numb now.
Sam sighed "I'm up for some food let's go. "Kids! C'mon, we're going to grill!" he said loudly and more like a command. he waited for them all to come.
Embry smiled and kissed Ericka, "Don't ever leave me" he said softly in her ear. He then kissed her neck gently.
Lilly was asleep in Claires arms.
Claire got up letting her husband wrap his arm around her. "Come one love Sam and Emily are having a grill out." she said softly.
Bella was crying and saw Edward get up and pick up his daughter and began to carry her to the gate trying to get her away from the sight.She went up to Jake who held her, even though she was a vampire her and Jake stayed friends.
Edward hated seeing his daughter like that, He picked her up and carried her to the gate. "Come on Nessie, we need to remember her the way she always was."

Erickka smiled softly.
"Wouldn't dream of it. Even if it were possible." she replied softly.
She then began walking easily, shaking Embry off.
"Don't try that s**t. I don't want another one in here! This one's only one week old!" she told him.
Scarlette pouted a bit as she turned around and started running again. She yanked Seth along with her, not caring if he was tripping or not. Scarlette then fell into step a little way behind her mother, with her hand still in Seth's. She looked over her shoulder and saw that her youngest siblings were a little bit behind.
"Come on, you lazy butts!!" she called back to them.
Sierra Jill sighed as she was forced to turn around. She started walking back towards her parents. Sierra Jill manuvered herself so that she was walking behind her sister and Seth. Sierra Jill yawned a little and let her free hand rest on the back of her neck. She didn't know why, but she was suddenly tired.
Samantha sighed and got up. She started walking towards her sisters before speeding up a little. Samantha was then next to Emily as she walked. She looked at her feet, and gave a side glance to Emily who was next to Sam. She then lost all her nerve and let herself fall back. Samantha sighed heavily as she reached the end of the little line her sisters had formed and started walking as she waited for Toby.
Ember Rose looked up when Sam called. She got up after kissing Kyeran's nose lightly. Ember got up and began walking back towards her family. She noticed that her sister was walking alone, so she skipped up beside her and fell into step on her right side. Ember Rose looked at her sister and she looked dreamy, and unfocused. Ember didn't question it and just continued to walk beside her sister.
Saul put his hands in his pockets as he started walking. The guy was bored and he sighed. He looked up at the strangely sunny sky. A single cloud passed through, and that was the only thing there. Saul sighed once more as he continued to sigh. He could see that Lilly was in her mother's arms. He smiled softly, happy to know that she was safe.
Emileah took in a deep breath and ran a hand through her hair. Her iPod had been in her ears for the entire time. Her iPod had been going on Genius for an hour, and considering the amount of time she used her iPod, the thing was close to death. Emileah shrugged. She still had her four chargers, and her four back up chargerse. Emileah shrugged and tugged at the end of her flowy green skirt as she continued to walk.

Renesmee, Renesmee shook her head as she was pulled from Anna's grave. "Don't you think I remember her better than anyone else at this whole funeral," she whispered irritated, glaring at her father. They both looked strangely alike, even though Nessie looked completely crazy. Both bronze hair, pale skinned, and beautiful; especially compared to humans. "I didn't carry her for almost nine months in my stomach for her to die at the age of twelve. She was supposed to last eternity," she screeched, the tears falling quicker. "and if she is going to last me eternity-" Renesmee abruptly cut off, wondering if her father had been reading her thoughts this whole time-even after Anna passed towards the beginning. When she ran to the cliffs and had her almost incident. She looked up at him with her bloodshot almost brown looking eyes, a pleading look on her face. "I just want her back." Her tone was so low that she wasn't even sure Edward could hear it.
Seth just allowed Scarlette to tow him around; hey, at least he was with her. As she followed, a step behind her mother, he glanced up at Embry, then looked back at Scarlette. He still didn't know how Embry had reacted to Scarlette finding out about Seth imprinting on her, or on how they were getting closer almost everyday. And he wasn't sure he even wanted to find out anyway. "Lazy butts?" He asked sarcastically, arching an eyebrow and laughing at Scarlette. "Hmmm, I fail to see how you came up with that one, Red." Seth walked at her exact pace, going towards Sam and Emily's for the barbecue. At least there would be a lot of food, that would be something for the pack to enjoy after such a long and mournful, depressing funeral.
Emily started towards their house, laughing as all the children fell in line behind her; like a mother and her ducklings, which might just be what she and her children were. Except for the imprinting ones that followed with Erickka's girls. They, of course, just followed their girl, just like Sam did when they were young. And still did when he could. As everyone reached her house, Emily opened the gate for everyone to enter the backyard, where she had set up several pick-nick tables for people to sit and chat at while she cooked, and for them to eat at after everything finished cooking.
Nye sighed and followed his mother, hands in pockets and expression bored. His stance was casual as he watched the forest slowly pass by, the inside tempting. But scolding was a fate he didn't want to succumb to if he broke the rules. He reluctantly kept walking, sliding past his mother and the open gate when they got to his house. All the tables were fairly close, but Nye took a seat on the corner of the table in the corner and started to blankly stare at the siding on the house.
Iolo followed Sierra, finding himself behind Seth, and looking at Sierra Jill who was behind Scarlette. "Hope your hungry," he muttered laughing, "because my mom is about to cook it all." As they walked, their house slowly came into view, and Iolo brushed past the open gate and took a seat beside his twin brother. He turned to him, then turned away; they talked all the time, by now there was nothing to talk about. Anything besides talking about the funeral would seem odd to say, so he just kept his mouth shut.
Toby thought for a moment, then realized Samantha was right; none of them would believe her. And Toby figured the only reason he even believed her was because he had imprinted on her. He loved her to much to think anything she was a lie-and so far it hadn't put him back any, so why stop now? Toby stood and briskly jogged over to her, then stopped and walked beside her. "Your right, Sammy," he whispered dryly, sighing. There was nothing they could do or say, so who would be taken next. Damn, what if it was Sam? Toby turned to her, now stressed. "Okay, look. You have to promise me to stay in my house when she comes back. You can stay in my room, or Olive's, but either way, don't go outside. Promise?" His voice was light and bouncy, staying strictly at a whisper so that he was sure nobody would overhear.
Olive rolled her eyes and stood from her chair, stretching out and starting to walk just behind Nye. Her bare feet pounded lightly against the cement, and the brown bow in her hair bounced with her stride. The expression on her face was neutral, showing no emotion whatsoever. Her destroyed jeans billowed around her ankles, covering up the tongue of her tennis shoes. Boredom had come to her early in the funeral, and now Olive figured it would linger in her mind the whole time of the barbecue, too. As she past her mother and sat down across from her older brother, Nye, she realized this thought was correct.
Karina's head flicked up as she heard her father command them to go home. She stood up and put her teeth around a large strand of Joey's fur, pulling him out of the forest. Come on, she thought playfully, bounding over to the rest of her family, and following, sure Joey would catch up. She reached the house a lot quicker than most of her siblings, for she was in her wolf form, and she went behind a tree to morph. When she was in human form, she sat down in one of the middle tables and patiently waited for Joey.
Hadria smacked Haydn's shoulder and smiled, proving everything was an act. Then she gripped her hand in hers and shuffled to the back of the line. "Hope you like barbecue's," she muttered as they reached her house, which they didn't go to often. Hadria liked the forest to much to sit in her house. She kept pulling, shoving him past her and into the backyard before sitting down at the corner of a table and staring expectantly at Haydn.
Collen looked at the other alpha, Sam, as he ordered his own children back home. "I think I want kids," he said, rambling aimlessly, "all of them here are so cute. And your baby pictures were adorable. More of you would be so cute, wouldn't they?" Then he shook his head and smiled jokingly at her. "Are we going to that barbecue or not?" He asked, expecting the answer to be yes, since everybody else seemed to be going, and he was sure Leah would go, too. the vampire with a beating heart

Edward sighed and held his daughter tighter. "it's going to be ok Nessie, and I don't think Anna's dead yet, well at least her soul isn't. Did you see Samantha acting strange during the ulogy?" She was seeing Anna, and Anna was warning her." he said softly to his daughter, "She hates seeing her mother cry." he said softly to Nessie.
Lilly was still crying she began to toss and turn in her mother's arms. She then got up and looked at her mom. "I want Sawwy" she cried. She didn't want her mom to see ehr like this, and she knew Saul could distract her.
Claire sighed and looked at Claire, she couldn't see Saul anywhere. "Saul, could you come take Lilly please." she said in a normal tone, knowing he would hear her.
Sam smiled and walked in the backyard he sat down and relaxed, waiting for the food to come. He sighed sad that he was wanting food on such a grim day.
Embry almost cried, "Awww, Come on even I need some action!" he complained chasing after her like a puppy dog. He wanted her so much lately it was crazy.
Jake and Bella entered the backyard and sat down, Bella still crying, but had calmed down alot. Jake still numb from it all.

Erickka rolled her eyes and raised her brow at Embry. She sighed heavily and shook her head sadly.
"You're acting like you're a horny fifteen year old boy. Not the horny thirty something man you should be." she replied sternly as she sat down.
Scarlette smiled and rolled her eyes at Seth.
"Don't be such a butt Seth, no matter how cute yours is." she replied, sticking out her tongue.
Scarlette sat down at a picnic table on the other side of her sister. Sierra Jill looked upset for some reason, but it wasn't like that was new. Sierra Jill almost always seemed upset these days.
Sierra Jill moved away from Iolo as she made her way through the gate. She sat down at a picnic table on her own, not really caring if anyone were to join her. Sierra noticed when her sister sat down beside her. Sierra Jill let out a little sigh before running a hand through her short hair. SHe didn't know why, but she was suddenly very tired.
Samantha looked at Toby as if he were crazy. And the request he just gave her led her to beleive so. Samantha shook her head a few times and rubbed her eyes. Was this some sort of twisted nightmare? Did Toby really expect her to just sit by while her family was being killed when she knew she could do something about it? But the fact that he had imprinted on her and that she had done the same told her to obey his simple request. But her free will screamed for her to defy him.
"You don't honestly beleive that I can follow through with that request."
Saul nodded and got up when he heard Claire's voice. He walked over to Claire and easily took Lilly from her mother's arms. Saul held the little girl with great care, doing his best to make sure that she was okay. Lilly was crying. He moved a bit of blonde hair away from Lilly's face and hugged the little girl.

Lilly cried into Sauls form. She just cried and cried. She felt so connected to him she didn't want to lose him too.
Embry smiled and kissed her. "no I'm acting like a husband who hasn't had sex in two weeks because his wife is a bitchy harpy." he scolded teasingly. He kissed her head and smiled int he joking manor he always had with her.
Edward set Nessie down next to Jake and Bella. He then walked over to Samantha, "Don't you think you should tell Sam about your little sight seeing?" he asked her gently, knowing that no one but Toby and Samantha would know what he's talking about..

Erickka turned her head, with her mouth slightly agape. She narrowed her eyes and puckered her lips in a fake anger that could only look real when she did so.
"You did not just call me a bitchy harpy, you horny unicorn." she replied, her voice cold, yet teasing.
Saul pet back Lilly's hair carefully and decided to walk into Emily's house. He moved in through the back door and made his way to the living room. Saul sat down on the couch and rocked the little girl back and forth. He was doing his best to comfort Lilly, but it looked as though nothing he did was helping.
