Irika "WHAT DID I JUST SAY? GET OUT!" Kristi yelled at the marine. She knew what she was doing. She ran to the other side of the door where combat forms and infection forms were appearing and sh ewas hitting buttons on the control pad every few seconds as she fought the flood, it was a good this she liekd close quarters battles as they hurt the flood more than weapons at this point. "Ma'am, Everyone is out. you're the only one in there."

Scarlett could hear everything over the COM channel. She stared blankly into the darkness. The blasts of rifle fire were barely audible. Also, a strange...growing....gurgling sound crept eerily.

Jenkins listened to the com chatter, getting scarder by the second. He had read the reports. The one the Master Chief had submitted after blowing up the first Halo. The monsters. Zombies allmost. Things that burried themself in you chest and turned you into to one of Them. The things that had got his brother, got alot of mariens, and almost the Chief. Jenkins bent down and picked up a fallen shotgun and a frag grenade. He heard thies were awsome against them. He turned headed into the structure. He was gonna kick some rotting Flood a**. "Ug...what is that smell???"

As the Sergeant entered, Mendez grabbed his vest and threw him back out. "And Where the hell do you think you're going Sergeant? You have my orders, and if you didn't hear me clearly, NO ONE GOES IN. Got it? Good. get to your post." He turned to Scarlett "Watch the door, if you see anything, shoot."

"Uh...ok sir...but what about the fighting going on in there..icanse you havent noticed..the flood have just been released..and we are all ******** prison raped kinda ********. Sir." He looked past him in to the dark seeing a few flahes of yellow light. Muzzle flashes.

He returned Scarlett's salute and turned back to the sergeant. "I don't give a ********. I was on Halo I was with Cheif when he opened all hell. You Dont Go In." In the distance there was a chilling growl from a Combat form. "Ma'am if you don't get out here, these are going to get into our marines and All hell will break loose."

Howie decided she wasn't going to accept his help and he took off for teh surface. He looked back to see combat forms chaseing him and threw a granade and came bursting out the entrence almost falling. He found Mathias and said "The flood have escaped and Kristi is trying to shut the doors. She refused to take me help. I took out all that were chaseing me, but that dosn't mean more arn't comeing. We need to take the defencive now." Josh barely took a breath while he was dumping all the info out.

At the first sounds of gunfire, Mathias had already been on the com to Lt. Brennan to make him aware of the situation since he was the closest other officer to them on Halo that he knew of. But before sending out a com to Lt. Brennan, Howie had came running up to him from inside the complex, giving him info on what was going on. Mathias immediately gave out an order.
'Marines fall back to the surface on the double! Repeat, Marines gets your asses back up here! CPO Kristi, get that door shut at all costs!'
Mathias made his point in the intensity of his voice giving out the order. He needed all his Marines back to the surface and get organized defensively so that if the Flood starting coming to the surface they would be easily subdued by a wall of lead. He moved so that he could have a good view of the entrance. The entrance was just large enough to fit a Scorpion BT in (just so were clear on how large the entrance to this place is)

Mendez shoved the last of the marines out of the way and Fired at the combat form charging at him. He got on his COM. "Lieutenant, everyone is out. We Could use some Help." He backed out the door and locked it. "CPO Kristi has one way out. I think it's clear."

Kristi grunted as tentacled hands raked at her armor, her warning signs going off all over the place... She jammed the last of the controls and activated it, droping a grenade as she barreled through the closing door, she began to bolt up the ramp to the surface, -Attention everyone Door is closed! They cant get through it. But if we go trough with this operation were all fu-.....- Kristis com chatter went silent as she slumped to the floor against a pole i na daze... she ahd just enough time t oget the last for topside before it could land the last fatal blow.
((aka im not dead, ive got an idea for it, but it requires a bit of thought))

Jenkins fired at a few infection formes that thought they could sneek out on the celing. bits of cream blood and flesh sprayed evry where as they poped like water ballons. He clicked on the com, "Could some one get a warthog near the entrance to this tunnel, we could use the turret, Alot!" Sergent Jenkins fired a small burst of bullets into a combat form. The infection for in its chest pop, blowing its chest open. He saw the Spartan, Kristy, slump to the groun 50 yards into the tunnel with a combat form over her. Jenkins droped his MA5B and pulled out his MD6. He zoomed in on the things chest and blew it open. ((i will finish later i gtg to go to town xd ))

By the time The pelican landed safely in the landing bay of the ship, Sergent Bisenti was going critical. He was going into a seisure which he held no past history or medical record of, Orderliess and doctors tended to him first, two orderlies restrained him to the strecher as they quickly led him to the Neurosurgery departiment of the medical level. They got under the table and stabilzied him. They put a sample of his blood and were suprised on what it contained.

Kristi woke up shortly after slugging towards the others. She heard a voice in ehr head ~kill them.... you kno wyou want to... theyre all men...~ "J-just shut up... where are you?!" She yeleld looking around quickly. She didnt realize the infection was within her... a small cut from a tentacl had ripped into her arm... spores onthe tentacle slowly approached her nervous and concious syystems. -M-mathias.... s-something aint right with me....-. Even if peope found otu what was wrong nothign could be done, tehre was no treatment for the local of the virus.

Mathias was about 15 feet from the entrance of the tunnel, ushering marines out and making them form up into defensive positions incase anything did break through the door, but that seemed to him unprobable. "Move Marines!" Grabbing one marine that jogged past him, nearly yanking him off his feet, "You see that Hog over there??" The Lieutenant asked loudly over the gunfire. The young Marine Private looked dazed towards where Mathias was pointing."Yes sir, I do.""Well get that thing over here and get on that gun. Go!" The Marine nodded and bolted off towards the hog, bringing up to a spot inbetween the rest of the Marines' positions.
The Lieutenant moved up next to Sergeant Jenkins, Kristi was close by. He could see her now. She yelled something, but he couldnt hear it, his ears rang from gunfire. He moved towards her.As things calmed down, gunfire ceased. The attention was on Kristi now. The Lieutenant heard the part of something not being right with her, which was clearly visible. "Kristi..?" He looked at the weakened SPARTAN. "Medic!" That was all he could think of doing at this point, he wasn't aware of the infection that was now within her.
