Arell winced a little bit. "I'm second only t' yer brother in a fair fight . . . yet a 13-year-ol' kid kicks me in de nuts." he growled, a smile on his face. Despite the fact that it hurt like a mofo, it actually was pretty funny in hindsight. He shrugged it off. Wasn't gonna be too much longer before someone kicked me in the balls. I'm just glad Crystal or Kai didn't do it. he thought.

Aiden grinned and put an arm around Arell's shoulders in a gesture of camaraderie.
"Aw, boyo, yer makin' me blush!" he joked, taking another swig of Guinness. "Hey, does this place have any alcohol?"

Robin nodded in Brigade's direction about the up-link.
"Sounds like a great idea-"
His focused mind was temporarily diverted when he received another kiss on the cheek from Abby. He turned to her once more.
"We'll be back. Maybe show your brother around."
Tim assumed Aiden hadn't even been 'upstairs' yet...

Arell smirked. "I think I stopped at de liquor sto' not too long ago. Wanna whiskey?" he asked. Those two alone could keep a good alcohol store in business for a while.

Crystal stared at Arell, who had his arm still hooked around air, even after she had moved to her bike. "Arell... You can put your arm down... I'm over here."
She then looked back to Jack. "Umm... How about you work with Brigade and find your car... The less that go right now the better." She then revved her engine and put on her helmet, fabric 'pockets' build into it for her ears to fit in so she could hear while driving.
"You coming or not Tim?"

Arell looked at her, and at the blank spot on his arm. Embarrassed he put his arm down. "It's been a looooong day." he said with a shrug. When she got ready to ride he thought about his motorcycle down in Louisiana. He missed going for a long ride on that Indian Chief. Maybe he'd go get it once it got quiet enough for him to leave for a few days.

Tim smiled and ran up to one of the other dark bikes parked in the cave. He would have preferred to use his own modified Redbird motorcycle, but that was left at Xavier's Institute the last he remembered. Kai and he had taken one of Nightshade's portals home...
"Comm links are up, we're on our way."
It was more of a confirmation for Brigade to double check the system's link. Tim started up the motorcycle and pulled on the black helmet that had been sitting on the seat. He nodded to Crystal before speeding out down the exit of the cave, leading the way to jet out onto a 'worn down' forest path.
(heading straight for the police HQ, no more delays?)

Jack looked pitifully at the group that was staying and pointed at the robot. "Just because I'm letting you help me, doesn't mean I trust you."
He then pulled out a picture of his car, handing it to Brigade. "This is my baby... Unfortunately, I have no license plate."

Arell let out a low whistle. "Not bad, slim. Concept?" he asked as he looked at the picture. It was definitely not a car he saw anywhere else before . . .

Crystal laughed and pulled the visor of her helmet down, following Tim. She turned her com in the helmet on. "Let's make like a hockey player and get the puck outta here."
She laughed as she speed up, next to Tim's bike.

Artemis yawned, now bored. He hadn't had his mid-afternoon nap and was starting to get irritable.
"Hey, big guy!" He looked up at Arell. "I'm heading upstairs, you coming?"
Artie then stood up and started for the stairs.

Arell smirked. "Sure! 'Sides, I got some stuff t' drink abou- err THINK about." he said, looking over at Aiden. "If hot-shot pisses her off, I got a shovel in de truck." he said with a smirk and walked over to Artemis.
"Let's get goin', che'." he said. At least Artie had time to sleep. The writer would like to acknowledge the big Cajun's lack of sleep on the job.

((Mah bad, man. I tend to get lazy about posts sometimes.)) Brigade used its singular ocular lens to zoom in on the picture, matching it up with "current" car designs.
"This model is a prototype, not due out in several years in present time," Briagde said. "How did you obtain this vehicle?"

Jack smiled and nodded. "I obtained the blueprints and schematics on the car and made a few of my own upgrades to it. The nanites can repair major damage instead of just windshield and paint repair, several different weapons built in, turbo boost for speed and other random accessor...."
Jack's eyes went wide as he thought of something. "If the camouflage is on it could be any car in the city...." He looked over to Brigade.
"Although..." He pulled out the same button from earlier. "If I could get out of here and within range of the car this will trigger a homing device in the vehicle, telling it to come to my current location."
