Kray sighed with a smile. Arashi didn't really fear anything and that was a good quality of hers. she would get her chance soon enough.
Hyn ran after Araishi not saying anything. this was the beginning of a long trip and it was best to keep on her good side or what was left of her good side for as long as possible.
Balon and gotten up by now and approched Kray. "where are they going?" he asked. as he watched the unlikely pair go off. he couldn't think of anything that the 2 of them could do together. they were almost opposites of eachother.
"just a spying mission."
"and Araishi agreeded to go?"
"with reluctance but yes. i asked her to but you need not worry about that. you have your own problem to deal with. if your ready. you can take the trial now."

Arashi didn't look at Hyn as she walked off, not wanting to talk to him at all.

Mathias ran over with Leon, kneeling beside Artemis. Looking at the wounds, Mathias shook his head. They were deep. A lot worst than Leon's were the other night. And there was no common blood from anyone else to help with the restoring ability of Mathias's blood. Mathias 'could' save the boy....but at a terrible price.
Einon ran over with Alex. "Oh no....Artemis.." He looked down, grief running through his face. He'd only known Artemis for a week or so, but he liked him. He didn't want his friend to die. Even though it was war, and war meant people died, Einon didn't want to lose one of his first real friends. Looking up at his sister, he growled slightly. Why did she have to go all 'solo' like! Everyone was fighting in pairs, to watch each other's back! Artemis had rushed in to save her, she repaid it by abandoning him and doing her own thing! But he quickly buried his feelings and looked down at his friend, bleeding and dieing.
Artemis coughed up blood, his eyelids fluttering. His head bobbed as he faded in and out of conciousness. Groaning, he tried to call on his own magic, but couldn't. Another cough, more blood flowing from his wound and his mouth. He leaned against the house, his eyes barely open.

Leon looked at him "stop trying to call your magic!! focus everything you have in you to stay alive please!! we can't lose you" Leon pleaded he looked at Enion he asked him a hard task "take Alex and move back to my house Artemis's parents are there...we need them here please hurry if nothing else we need a blood sample" he haned them a sanitary Vial and said "get some in here if you can't get them to come!!"
Alex looked at Artemis what a horrible sight he couldn't believe this sight is this really war...

Kasai knelt down next to Artemis as his hands caught fire, "Hold on," He said to Artemis, "This will hurt a lot." Then he stuck his hand on the wounds, and in some of the really deep ones to cauterize the wounds. He wasn't sure if this would help or hinder with all of the cauterizing he was doing, but it was all he could do to help.

A soft blanket of white floated down from above the group to cover Artemis. Aura was sitting cross-legged on top of the house still, not moving. Her eyes were blank. It was clearly the other spirit in control, and had been for who knew how long.
"He shan't die," she said in someone else's voice, still staring blankly into the distance. "He shan't die."

Alexa smiled lazily and sprawled out, closing her eyes. "Use your imagination," she murmured. "I'm sure it'll come to you."

Engela dropped the shield when she felt the battle end. Cautiously she reached out to Mathias. She could feel him there, but she could also feel something wrong. What is it? she asked, frowning. What's happening?

Artemis is dying. I'm not sure what happened, I was busy fighting with Leon. I think Aura was in trouble and Artemis moved in to protect her back. Then somehow, Artemis was all by himself when Siobhan took over Aura and left him. He got overwhelmed and cut up pretty bad. Mathias looked down at the boy. The fire user's powers were sealing the wounds. And before he could stop him, he had sealed the large stomach wound; the one Mathias would have used to heal him. As Einon and Alex left, he shook his head. His vampiric senses could tell that the boy was going to die before they came back. Engela...I can save him, but if I save him, I condem him to being a turned vampire. When the cloak of white light came down over Artemis, Mathias looked up at his daughter. What was Siobhan doing to Aura?
Artemis winced with each would Kasai cauterized. But he had lost so much blood, it didn't matter. His eyes closed and his head thudded against the side of the house.
Einon grabbed the vial, Alex's arm and spun around; shadow teleporting them back to the town to try and find his parents.

Leon looked at Mathias knowing that Kasia's heart was in the right place but he may have just doomed Artemis he looked at Mathias he knew there was a way he could be saved but at what cost...he looked at him his eyes saying 'is there no other way.."
Alex left with Enion and as the reappeared at the town he knew exactly where to go he prayed Artemis's parents were there

Mathias shook his head once, closing his eyes to concentrate. He felt a very weak thump of Artemis's heart. It was barely beating. But the way it was slowing, Mathias knew that it would be mere seconds til Artemis was dead. If the heart stopped pumping, not even he could save Artemis. "He has moments left. It's now or never." Engela..I..I can't bring myself to do it. Is this the right thing to do? I mean it can never be undone.

Hyn was walking along behind Arashi. He looked up and saw that the sun was starting to get higher in the sky now. The desert would be warming up soon. He pushed his sleeves to above his shoulders in preparation for the heat at the same time revealing an interesting birthmark on his left shoulder. He looked up into the distance and only saw sand. “big huh?” he asked trying to make conversation.

Kirra blushed slightly, her mind in the gutter at the fact that they were both still naked. She looked away as her blush deepened and she noticed that the sun was rising. "We should get going soon," she said to try and hide her thoughts.
Arashi let out a "hn" and didn't say anything thinking to herself that either he was the biggest idiot she had ever met, or that he was an even bigger idiot who was trying to make conversation with her.

“not real talkative are you?” he asked. Hyn had become a completely different person. He was kind and seemed like the type that would give up his own life to help others. He talked as if he had just met Arashi. “well, we all have something horrible that had happened in our pasts. My entire family is dead, though I didn’t experience it first hand. He looked up into the sky for a moment. You know, you kinda remind me of one of them. she was always stronger than I am.”

Engela's power flowed through him, a soothing wave. What is that? she inquired, feeling the power of the white sheet over Artemis. It...feels like it's doing something, or trying to. I can't tell what...Mathias, you're not a child. You have experience. Do what feels right. If that's to let him go, then let him go. If that's to save him, then--
Her voice stopped abruptly. Something like a crackle came through
(he will not die Mathias we will not let him die)
but it wasn't her. Not her voice, and not her thoughts either.
Aura remained on the rooftop. Her eyes were still dull and blank, and her skin almost seemed to be taking on a greyish tinge. But she never stirred, and that white blanket of power didn't move. It felt like electricity in the air - not healing, but doing...something.

"That we should," agreed Alexa nonchalantly, getting to her feet. "I should find my clothes."
